Legal Rights for All Wildlife October 23, 2010 9:26 AM

Hey: I am asking for your help on this. Please send an email to the government officials listed below demanding that we give legal rights to all wildlife, especially Canadian Geese. It is the Canadian Geese that have paid the price with their lives, murdered because the airline industry refuses to use radar which would stop the problem of planes flying into the flocks of birds. The government officials refuse to admit the truth about the airline industry not living up to the highest of standards when it comes to passenger safety. Using radar would increase passenger safety 100%!!! We need to stop killing the innocent and demand that the inline industry take our lives seriously!! The government officials are covering up the inadequacies of the airline industry in an attempt to avoid mass hysteria from the flying public. AFTER ALL, IT IS NOT THE BIRDS FLYING INTO THE PLANE, IT IS THE PLANE FLYING INTO THE BIRDS. WHICH CAN BE AVOIDED WITH THE USE OF RADAR!!!! It is about time we stopped the government from killing our innocent wildlife!!! Below is an Animal Bill of Rights, which is needed to save the innocent animals being destroyed: Introduced by TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the agriculture and markets law, in relation to aggravated harassment and cruelty to animals. PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: This legislation would expand the existing aggravated cruelty law to cover intentional acts of continuous harassment and intentional cruelty to wildlife. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: A person is guilty of aggravated cruelty to wildlife when, he or she intentionally abuses, maimes, starves or causes to starve, kills or causes serious physical injury to WILDLIFE. For purposes of this section, "aggravated cruelty" shall mean conduct which: is intended to cause physical of wildlife; on public or private property. Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to prohibit or interfere in any way with anyone lawfully engaged in hunting, trapping, or fishing, as provided in article eleven of the environmental conservation law. Violators of this law shall be mandated to register as animal abusers with local law enforcement agencies. Anyone found guilty of any of the above actions shall be charged with a felony and subject to a fine of no less than $500.00 but no more than $2,000.00. Anyone found abusing WILDLIFE without CAUSING physical pain or death shall be charged with a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of $300.00. Anyone found continuously harassing WILDLIFE whereby that wildlife cannot leave an area on their own due to a physical handicap shall also be charged with a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of $150.00.
