Hey Beth! March 05, 2005 7:16 PM

Are you back? It's good to see you again! Garden season is nearly here, I can't wait. I hope all my new bulbs come up! Spring colour will be so delightful after this plague of white. After teaching all winter, summer is my time to really relax and enjoy watching things grow. I have big plans for the garden this year, and I'm determined to get that herb bed going. Still looking for Canadians to exchange heirloom organic seeds with. Anyone out there interested?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
Newbie Here! March 06, 2005 5:25 PM is an interesting place to look. My Crocus are blooming as well as a few Hyacinths and the first of the Daffodils opened today!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
Oh, depressing! March 07, 2005 1:59 PM

Sadly, it won't likely be until late April early May until I can realistically expect my bulbs to sprout. There's still a foot of snow out there! Living in zone 4-5 is a gardeners torment, but once summer is here, we make the most of it! Enjoy those blooms and welcome!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
Thankyou! March 07, 2005 6:40 PM

In the meantime feel free to check out the garden photos. The album is open. All pics are from this season in our garden. Give you something to look forward too.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
hello! :-) March 17, 2005 8:55 PM

Hi Shannon, Thanks for the hello! I'm only on here intermittently - but it's great reading all the activity on here! Keep up the posts, ya'll - this is a great time of year to share experiences. My job is keeping me insanely busy so I haven't even considered what I want to plant this year. Not to mention that we're having a drought here in the NW which makes me really perplexed about what to plant/what not to plant. Great to hear from all of you!!!!! :-) :-)  [ send green star]
