Hello everybody, I am John, also known as Hai (sounds like high). I am an activist for affordable healthcare, single-payer HR-676. I am a folk musician/singer/songwriter; many of my original songs reflect concerns over healthcare crisis. My Old friend Martin said "of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care are the most shocking and inhumane."
I also represent a group that the privatized group may be even more unfair to; those of a mild disability, should be able to work; find a nightmare competing for the kind of job that lets them have health insurance. I have Aspergers Syndrome, a mild type of autism. By the way, I wrote 3 songs with autism awareness theme.
I also want to try to remember 2 you Marilyn Clement; passed on Aug 3. A very special lady, founder of Healthcare-Now, http://www.healthcare-now.org. I have also promised to keep this flame burning in me. She will forever leave a legacy in my heart.
Let us also remember those who got arrested because they spoke up at the senate.
"We have 13 brave soldiers, in this movement for a single payer. they seek healthcare justice, it's because they care. these men were arrested, for things they knew were right, may serve time, pay heavy fines, for our wellbeing they fight.
2. Three hebrew men arrested, for things they knew were right, thrown in the fiery furnace, they trusted in God's might, but God delivered these men, for us can do the same. have our soldiers acquited, and bring our heroes to FAME!"
I hope to hear from other members of this group.
Bear Hugs, John, also known as Hai That is one of my favorite cover song and most requested at my musician venues.
