 Hi Im Pete a Scotish hippy Essene Im totally commited to the liberation of Palastine within the the road map accord ! my goal also supports the right for the existance of a kind loving Isreal , however the current administration continues to divert my goal. I am in all heaps of trouble as i lossed my job and home asking the wrong people for help once. lol did it put me off -not really it convinced me i must of found something

Hello everyone and thanks for the invitation Mehr.

To my way of thinking foreign policies are  based on economics.  Life style/greed is the driving force that fuels wars.  If we accept this premise as true then the most effective way to alter aggressive foreign policies is to boycott all the products including tourism of all countries that have combat troops in another country. or who fight wars by proxy.

Over time perhaps, in this Group, we could create a list of countries that say A/ possess nuclear, chemical or biological weapons ie. "weapons of mass distruction B/export or permit to be exported military equipment or arms C/ have combat troops in other country.  We could then have a thread for each of the countries on this list as places not to vacation and a list of all their exports by brand name to effect a worldwide boycott.

Money talks but so does witholding money.

Hello to everyone and thanks for the invitation.

Basically, I think everything is bullshit! There is NO government, ruler or leader that is NOT TOTALLY CORRUPT!

The media is bought and paid for. 9/11 was staged, obviously. The bombings in Madrid and London were staged, or at least known about. IRAQ.........god, what a joke. Not the country , the fact that we were ever there! It's insane and it's a slaughter that was planned some time ago, as was 9/11. The goal here, other than murder and genocide, is FEAR!!!! Bush knows, the Bin Laden family knows, Tony Blair knows, everybody knows.

There is a grand scheme here. We must not lose sight of this! All of the atrocities that are occuring all over the world, ANY AND ALL OF THEM, are linked. They are not seperate, random acts. They are part of the whole......the New World Order that is planned for us.

A year ago, I would not even consider stating, what I am stating here, for anyone who I didn't already know and feel safe with. But I don't care. I am pretty informed and clear and aware of what is going on. No theories here. Only truth. My mom, my sister and my daughter marched in protest to the war and to Mr. Bush and his administration having power any longer. I have pictures that I will post shortly. How beautiful is that? A family of Freedom Fighters! Hallelujah!

Nothing surprises me anymore. Well, in the sense that I can't believe how ugly or evil %#&!*% is getting, that isn't a surprise. I am surprised in the sense that there are entities that exist that are capable of the dark twistedness that we see, hear, smell, taste and feel!!! That is still and always will be.......a surprise.

Hope this wasn't too intense of a rambling. I'm just tired. I'm pissed. I'm ready to move forward and people need to wake up and SEE!! It's vital. Comm-UNITY!! It is all that will save us. Really. We all need to be willing to hold a hand out to the people of this world and also be willing to take a hand that is offered to us. Equally important. As a people, one people, one love, we will right the wrongs. We will survive. It is possible.

Glad to be a part of the group. I'm a hippie child of the 60's (of Scottish decent. Tried to self teach myself Galick. LOL!). Was one of the rebels then too! Thought then we'd succeed in finding Peace for all by now. I was very idealist and very young. Sometimes seems like we've gone backwards instead of foreward. Have lot's of opinions on what happened from A-Z, beginning with the word Apathy.  Older now, wiser and still believe in Peace for all people. I refuse to give up!

Yep I agree it's the oil, bottom line power and money! Ashamed of some of the things my country US has done. But proud of all the grassroots people coming forward, standing up and turning the tides!

A little more about me: I'm not only a anti-war activist, but also speak out for environmental and wildlife issues. I make my living as pen and ink artist.

A wake up call indeed Andreas- well said.Regime indeed -Im not interested in U.s politics  as to which party or which representative is in power As lone as we the people are involved with our policy making ..

I think we are more interested in what limits politions descision making  we are all crying out - they do not serve the poeple or it appears that way. Please check some of the educational videos.

Thot you guys might like to know what I do off of Care2. On a News Item discussion, this guy Daniel challenged me {and others} by name, saying things like, what do you do for a living, how do I know you are who you say who you are, are you an expert, a professor or a lawyer {what they ALL use to attack 9/11 Truthers}, and, quote,"If you really want to change things, why do you stay hidden?"{behind your computer, was the implication}.{Daniel suggested we should all go to Washington DC, where "The Decider" was. He was just looking for a way, any old way, to attack Rosie's, and my, views on 9/11!}

Daniel: I am 71 years old, and semi-retired on Social Security, which isn't enough so I work part-time at temporary jobs, mostly clerical work. Members of my immediate family are or have been professors and lawyers, as well as farmers. I am a college graduate and very well-read.

I do not "hide" on Care2 but am EVERY WEEK out on the streets at a demonstration or vigil. I have testified as an Informed Citizen at Public Hearings. I have given Public Readings of my anti-war poetry. I have been arrested, tried, and acquitted in Washington State, for expressing my views {admittedly that was a long time ago}. I have also demonstrated in Seattle, Blaine {Canadian border}, Tacoma, Fort Lewis and Kitsap County {Trident submarine base}. My large photo, carrying a sign, has appeared in the British newspaper The Guardian. I have been interviewed by BBC Scotland. I have spoken in person with my local legislators when they visited their home districts. No, I wouldn't say I was in hiding.........

I never say a single thing on the Internet that I can't back up. It does not take being a rocket scientist to know the FACTS. ......... Doing the SAME research will bring the SAME results. The facts that have been established about 9/11 are MATTERS OF PUBLIC RECORD, such as the Stock Market manipulations, etc. Anyone of REASONABLE intelligence can learn and understand Basic Science. A bright child or high-school student or self-taught person can know science, if they try, if they read with understanding................

Funny - I was just saying something similar to my husband last week - about the fact so many of us have been asleep, but are now waking up. It's either that or walking around with blinders on - or maybe just allowing ourselves to be brainwashed because.. to not be led around like sheep takes effort. It's not that this corruption happened overnight - it's been going on a long while - but it took epic porportions by a major screw-up to get people's attention. Don't get me wrong - I love my country - I think we have the potential to be great - to do great things. A "government for the people, and by the people" doesn't work when the people stop participating. We need to send a clear message by impeaching Bush (Can we impeach Cheney too?) that we've awaken now and will no longer tolerate such things happening ever again! 

There are so many necessary areas for change, even beyond getting rid of Bush and Cheney. One small place we need to start is by getting our children interested in taking part for the future of the US. We have mandatory Civics classes that are suppose to do that, but they're set up in a way that's forced and narrow minded. Rather than learning how they can participate, other than voting, its memorization of what the branches of government are. That's not a good explaination of what I mean, and only a small part of the problem.

I could go on quite a while about why this happened and what needs to be fixed - I'll spare you for now. I'm just trying to concentrate on damage control at present, getting rid of the idiots, and bringing our kids home with open arms.
