SB 143 ~ the bison extermination bill moving forward. Please send comment
2 years ago

Please contact the House Ag Committee and oppose the anti-bison bill SB 143.  Here is the link to provide a comment:

SB 143 attempts to completely negate the progress that a diverse group of citizens accomplished working together to protect and respect property rights while at the same time better managing and respecting wild bison as valued native wildlife.  The Bison Citizens' Working Group was open to all who wanted to participate and SB 143 is a slap in the face to the good work this group accomplished.  SB 143 reflects an opinion that is completely against wild bison in Montana.  Please either email in a quick comment or call the Capitol at (406) 444-4800 and they will pass you message onto the House Ag Committee.

I am sick of these people who are so high and mighty w/no conscience that they are against the wild bison and mustangs. No reason for it but greed. Signed.  There is an action to take on Saving our mustangs from American Horse Preservation also. They just won't be happy till they have eradicated them all.  What a beautiful majestic fellow up there. Handsome.  How can anyone be so heartless, and not give a damned about these wonderful and free, but yet not free, like they say because of haughty beings with no conscience, bison and mustangs.  Once they are gone, they are gone, and we're left sitting with the evilness of people who didn't care and wanted it to happen.

Thank you for signing, Sherry and I hope you did, too, June.    Yes, Sherry it is so sad that these beautiful wild bison may face extinction...again.   A few survived in the 1920's but who knows now.  There will always be bison (domestic) but maybe not the wild ones...the ones we are fighting for....and will continue to fight.
