As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I am a VERY STRONG supporter of the safety and well being of children all over the world.

I have spent countless hours, signing petitions, writing various governments and governmental agencies pushing for stronger laws to protect children from predators.

A child has no real legal rights and no voice to be heard by any government, so WE MUST speak for them. They are our only hope for the future and if they are damaged, physically, emotionally, sexually and mentally, then what sort of future can we expect?

I am in the Lions Club (and Yes, women are now allowed to be LIONS!) in a small town in Texas.  We just gave out 4 scholarships to these young adults!  It was awesome!  Knowing I am a part of helping a child get an education they may otherwise not get.  I am on the scholarship committee too for next year.   When ever you hear someone getting down on young people (and even myself at times) I involve myself in something in the community to make a possitive influence in the life of a child! 

These young adults have also volunteered to help out with my grassroots organization AHHHS!

WOW! I was just donated a house to fix up for a community center too!

I plan to have youth activities room in their too as several young people have told me that kids don't have enough possitive things to do!
