This is the new thread about Moon magic so to continue the lessons here is one for Breaking a curse.

Although the vast majority of curses are only in your mind by the reason of your own negativity so this should help you over come this.

Choose the first Saturday of the waning moon and light a black candle.

Say; I return all that is dark and evil to this black candle.

As it burns down so will all that is harmful to me burn away and be destroyed.

Ashes to ashes,

dust to dust,

So mote it be.

Burn each night until the candle has gone and /or the moon has disappeared from the night sky.

if necessary bury any leftover wax in the garden or somewhere that animals can not find.

There are many lunar spells to attract money so heres one for you.

When the Moon is new, place a bank note of the largest denomination you can afford and place under your door mat at your front door.

Remove it only when the moon is full and return it there at the next New moon if you like.

The bigger the bank note the greater the divident and the more feet that walk over it the better. (I haven't tried this one yet).

Another spell is to place as much money as you can on your windowsill in the light of the New Moon.

Say:O magick moon, make my money grow.

You can repeat this also at the next New Moon.

When you see the very first silver sickle - not through glass - turn over the silver coins in your pocket and say:

In the name of the Great mother,

the horned God and the Magical child,

may my money grow this month!

Now fortune is on its way!

there are many ways in that the herb moonwort can be used to help your finacale postion.

Why not place a sprig of moonwort in your purse and this might attract more silver.

Place it in a box at the back of your cupboard and wealth will come to you.

Burn dried moonwort at the New Moon phase. Watch the smoke rise and imagine the wealth that will soon be yours.

Remember that any spell will not work if you tell others and if you don't take physical action. spells are not manifested if a bit of personal physical work is not performed. My suggestion is to think of new ways to raise your bank balance ways that you would not normally think of. Think of those images that come at night during dreams or meditation they might be ways that the deities are telling you of how to raise your cash flow.

Fragrant sandalwood is ruled by the Moon. it is used as incense espically for spells for healing, protection and exorcism. Mixed with Frankincense for a Full Moon rite.

1)Take a large chip of sandalwood and write a wish on it.

2) Burn this in a heat-proof dish,

3) Visualising your wish as you do so, to make it come true.

1) wear beads made of sandalwood for protection and spiritual development.

2) Leave them in the light of the Full moon occasionally for extra power/energy.

moon ruled Willow could give you an answer about your love life. to discover if you will have a relationship over the cominng year, throw a shoe (must be yours) into a willow tree. you can have nine times in all and if your shoe catches, you will be with your love by the end of the next year.

Go on give this a try at a party next New Years Eve but remember you will need to climb the tree to recover your shoe so if your too drunk then good luck, mind you a frriend who isn't too intoxicated they could recover it for you.

wintergreen is actual very hard to get these days in the UK. the way i got mine was by a herbalists shop where I obtained the herb in cream form so it was not in its original state but it worked for the spell i required it for.

Right wintergreen is a moon herb and a protectir espically of children. Place a little inside the pillow case for it will bring them life long good fortune.

If you can get it in herb form then mix it with mint and sprinkle it around the house to remove bad vibes.

the spell I used it for was for a love spell.

First obtain a piece of clothing that has been worn by your intented chose and spread a little wintergreen over it.

Say these words

 'If you are to be mine let this herb bring you to me.

If you are not to be mine then let the scent dull your mind.'

Leave the herb scented clothing for the person to find and if they wear it you know that the spell has worked however if they put it straight away into the wash bag/machine then the spell failled.

Fed up with the rat race rather be at home in the warmth where it is safe and peaceful! The Moon understands.

first you will require a clear crystal, next place it on your windowsill in the full beam of a Full Moon.

Ask the Moon goddess for calmness and serenity as well as protection from all that back biting and office politics.

next morning take the crystal to work and place on your desk or open to the air. Take a minute to recall the pece of the full moon.

imagine your charged up crystal is a crystal egg sheilding you from negative energies.

now get on with your work in peace.

remember to recharge the crystal at every full moon otherwise its power will be lost and negativity will return.

The New moon of november like all moons has many names, this particular months moon is known as Apple moon (Appalachian), Beaver moon (Colonial american), Dark moon (Celtic), Frost moon, Larder moon, Moon when horns are broken off (Dakota), Mourning moon & Remembrance moon & Sortin moon & Treemoon (Neopagan), Sassafras moon (Chctaw), slaughter moon (Dutch), Snow moon (Wiccan), Trading moon (Cherokee), White moon (Chinese).

Each diffrent culture marks time based on what they consider most important. Lists of 12 to 13 lunar months tend to describe prominent seasonal event based on the local weather, wildlife ect. it becomes cold and dark, apples ripen, deer shed horns, people decide what to keep or not for winter, festivals honouring certain things all these have a tendence to characterize late autumn in different places.

Neopagan culture is about reconnecting to Mother Earth so at this time of the Novemeber month celebrate the New moon by giving it a name that describes what happens in your family or immediate environment. what happens to animals, plants and people.

This month (Jan) I have named the New moon young death for a young relative died this month and I am honouring her by doing this.

Go on and enjoy the moon this New year for she is with you from birth to death and she will always be there no matter what.

Is there anyone whose treating you unfairly or trying to make you go against your beliefs? then do this spell at the Waning Moon esbat.

Make a circle of sage leaves dried or fresh.

In the middle place something that symbolises the topic matter, such as a coin for money, ring for partnership, model house for property etc.

Sprinkle some sage onto your symbol followed with ankle of lavender oil for wisdom and clear communication.

Now bind the symbols round and round with black thread, visualising your treatment and all the troubles being bound up along with it.

Leave this on your window sill until the first cresent of the Moon appears.

Take it outside and unbind it seeing all the negative issues take flight.

Bury the the cord and symbol in the ground or if the symbol is to be used again wash it in running water (a stream is best).

Finally go forward with a clear mind and light heart.
