MOROCCO CASE WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP***************************************************************************************
 
Well you might have heard on the radio or read on newspapers about Amina Mourtada's brother's story, the 26 years old young Engineer who's been kidnapped, tortured for 36 hours and then imprisoned in Casablanca, Morocco for the simple act of daring to create a profile on facebook of prince moulay rachid younger brother of the king of Morocco on Facebook.com.  Fouad Mourtada didn't have any harmful intent, as a matter of fact he never used the profile to communicate with Anyone.
 
My brother was denied release on bail. ********The trial is on Friday 22*********, he could be facing 5 years of jail.
 
Note that Morocco doesn't have any article in its law to do with internet use or anything to do with the numeric world, yet They didn't hesitate to accuse my brother of "identity theft" "falsification of data"...as if facebook is an official listing of citizens!
 
Amazing what igonorance can do...
