Honestly, I can't remember if I've introduced myself here yet or not. I'm a member of several groups so sometimes it causes me to get confused- LoL.

Anyways, if I haven't intro'd myself yet then I'm Crystal- 22 yr old housewife of 3 step-children (none of my own). I'm starting my own charity organization called Operation: World Wide and as the name states- the charity works with world wide issues ranging from conservation to the climate crisis to human rights to animals. I am also specially dedicated to working towards saving a very endangered wild cat- the Amur leopard- and about to start some schooling to get a degree in conservation/environmental sciences.

I love Care2 and I've loved this group since I've joined it. I will sign all the petitions that I can in order to help.

Wow . . . I can't believe Jandi that I haven't been here in so long! And by all means, she needs the groups understanding . . . she's getting to where she can actually compartmentalise things more! And in so doing, I hope to get in here on a regular basis; at least more regular even if it's not daily!

I honestly don't know how some of you do this! It's been my life in school for the past three years nearly . . . and in that time I earned a certificate (Masters) and am working on my Thesis for the degree! Yipppeeeeeeee!!! My point is that I've figured out that my groups are rather like my courses were . . . and the discussion boards! So, whist I am not "studying" per se at this point, I am a Teaching Assistant in a course entitled "Resolving Environmental & Public Disputes." It's truly a privilege, however  . . .  with alligators at my "arse" (pardon the expression all ), I'm just now getting round to where I can pop in more often and keep up with things! I hope! So . . . give me a once in awhile . . . if I've not been around as I beat myself up over these things. I like to keep my committments and I've had to not accept any more group invitations as I'm so academically schooled presently that the guilt is almost unbearable! So, there are times when I seem MIA . . . and I'm not! Thank you all for being such an inspiration, and even for teaching me new things with HTML . . . . . . and all the other ways that Care2 has beomce a lifesaver!

This is great as it makes it easier to keep up with important petitions! On the other hand, it does become overwhelming at times, and I remember when this group was beginning! Wow!!!

Anyway . . . just wanted to pop back in . . . and "re-introduce" myself, apologise for not being around very much . . . and ask that you forgive! I do sign an awful lot of petitions, just so you know! And I also empathise with all of you here . . . because it does get pretty darn discouraging at times! Anyway . . . forgive my absence . . . and I hope to be around more as I get organised!

YOUR ASSIGNMENT FOR THE DAY:

See that button on the main page that says 'Invite Your Friends" ?   Hit it! Choose this option, "Invite all my friends who have not recently been invited."

It will automatically send an invitation to everyone on your friends list, that hasn't yet been invited.  Some of us have only a few friends, some of us have HUNDREDS, even more! By the end of the week, we could have 1,000 members in this group!

Hi Dusty, I'm here...I had to go and see about my HUGE rent raise...and it seems like it went up almost 100 percent...I will be homeless if this isn't changed...I pray I can get the building I live in to lower my rent some...so that I can pay it and have money to pay bills...that is so awful!  I live on a very limited fixed income...I wish I could petition for rent decrease in my buildings...

Anyway, I am back...I am so happy to see everyone here...and see this group growning..It's a special group!
