I really enjoyed reading the Complete Poems of William Shakespear. It is a great book with loads of wonderful poems!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I've always liked Emily Dickinson. Her economy of word is very impressive for the images that she suggests.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

There's always Byron. I can't say I like the moderns all that well, but when it comes to poetry, I'm a sucker for rich imagery ... not to mention the repetition of rhythmic forms. I can't think of their names offhand, but the translations of troubedour and trobaritz poetry is nice, too.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
