My choice... Gulliver's Travels, especially those parts that don't include the Liliputians. Don't get me wrong, I love those little guys but they're so overdone.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
I adore Shakespeare November 14, 2006 5:48 AM

except for Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. MacBeth rocks lots. Dickens is also awesome!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Midsummer's Night Dream and Much Ado About Nothing are my Shakespeare favorites. Othello is great too!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
best classic November 20, 2006 10:06 AM

I'm split between two. My first choice is Wuthering heights for it's sheer poetic dark drama. It is so intense and brooding I feel like I'm walking in the heathers looking for cathy's ghost. My second just because it's Dickens and he's brilliant is Great Expectations. The old classics were the best.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
