Pale lager - Spezial.
Lemon, ginger and butter aroma, sweetish taste with butter, pepper and malt aromas, bitter finish with hop, citrus and grass aromas.
A pretty good beer with lots of fresh hop flavours and a touch of maltiness. One of the best examples of this difficult to brew style.
A great treat for every beer expert. My favourite
A must if you come to Europe
this beer at Augustiners in the city!
And this museum on beer! Better than anything you know!
Salzburg Stiegl Brauwelt....
I love beer... we are in summer season right now... 30 celsius every single day... at 7 Pm all I want is have a cold Erdinger...
National (chilean) beer... because of the heat, lagers. Like a Kunstmann lager. Maybe the best lager in this country. In winter I drink black beer or strong beers, like Patagona Austral or Bock Kunstmann.
Beer is the best. And with home made pizza...
Hey g'day y'all, thankz Hans for the invite (hic) ~ i'm a grog guzzling aussie from downunder in the land of oz, and i don't mind a decent drop (hic) lol ~ i used to brew my own, prefering an aussie drop called, Coopers sparkling ale, they also brew a cool dark, almost like Guiness ~ but i also dug making the European brews from Germany, Belgium and Holland ~ but my problem began when i started making 8%, i could never finish 4 longnecks in a day, and my liver ended packing up after 18 months of drinking it ~ my liver level (can't remember the term, but it was 165, when itz s'posed to be under 60, mmmmm yes ~ so 3 months without a drop (and that was freekin hard) weekly blood tests, and a strict liver diet ~ i'm sure some of you guyz must know what i mean, no fat, no dairy products, no booze sob, and after the 3 months my doctor waz so proud of me ~ my level got down to 65 hehe ~
In this pic i'm drinking whale safe beer, called 'Blue Tongue', itz a boutique beer made by the same brewers az 'Two Dogs' and 'Bondi Blonde' ~ for every carton sold a buck waz donated to Sea Shepherd for their campaign against the Japanese whalers down in the Antarctic...

Ahhhh, a nice cool chug, lovely and crisp, fresh from the freezer on a steaming hot aussie summers afternoon...

cheers from downunder my good drinkin amigos

Grolsch is the Dutch Premium Quality Lager
Grolsch has a distinctive, full bodied and crisp taste that has been developed through almost four centuries of crafted brewing tradition.
Grolsch owes its superb quality to the selection of the finest natural ingredients, the traditional bottom fermentation brewing process and the combination of two hop types.
Peter Cuyper’s significant discovery of the two hop types in the mid 1600s has been recognized by incorporating them into the Grolsch Brewery logo that is still in use today. This design has been inspirational as a symbol of the distinctive taste of Grolsch, which will be brought to mind wherever you see this logo.
People enjoy Grolsch because of its quality and distinctive taste. Just try it and compare it with your favourite beer!
I am allmost sure that you like Grolsch better! Try it!
Thanks for the invite Hans! I've been painting and drywalling all day, I think I'm going to go out this evening and have a beer...YUMMY! My favorites are Summit (brewing co. in Mn) India Pale, Extra Pale and Porter. I always miss Summit when I'm not in Mn. Try it if you're ever here (they probably have it in Wisc. too). Then...Bell's Porter, yum. Fat Tire is good too.
Heinekein and Warsteiner, Hofbrauhaus unfiltered, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Have you ever tried The Holy Ale, brewed by witches http://www.eurobrews.com/monty.html lol!!!!!
Dr says my drinking days are over, bought another case of Heine in cans....lol!!!!
Pfalz region beers MMMMMMMmmmmmmmm.....
Good beer in the US takes some searching....
Warm regards,
Thanks for the invite Hans :o)
Namaste :o)
My favorite kind of beer is
Gauder Bock from Zillertal BierI used to live in Oregon so I like the local brews best but Sierra Nevada makes the best national beer. I just tried Wild Blue Lager 8% made with blueberries. I hate it! 3 got me whacked and a headache. YUK!
I love real ale! not to everyones taste as its served warm, but each has a unique flavour

I am fond of Porters. yet the old stand by is Pilsner Urquell.
It never fails.
I also enjoy Stouts, both drier ones, in addition to Milk Stouts on occasion.
I remember the first time I tried Guinness with a couple of friends up behind the old Coke Plant! Wow!
Lambic, Smoked, Belgian, are fun.
Lowenbrau was the first beer I tasted, on a New Years Eve, so that holds a special place~ and is available again. Grolsch or Dortmunder {DAB} are fine, too.
Oh, to get one started on the good beers out there...
My hope is for more Organic beers being available.
I notice such a difference in vegetables and coffee, and can only believe any beer would better if organic.
They are hard to find, but always worth picking up!
HI I am new around here. Hope nobody minds that I invited myself?
As far as my faves go it all depends on my mood. I have to admit that untill I moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 2001 my tastes in beer were pretty pathetic. I expected to have access to great coffee when I got here but was pleasently surprised at the wealth of great beer as well.
When the weathers nice there is nothing better than a Pyramid Apricot Ale or even a Kokanee Gold out of Canada. When I am looking for something with a little more flavor I go for the "reds". I especially like Alaskan Amber or Mac & Jacks. During the winter season I love sampling all the seasonal brews. Redhook Brewery's "Winterhook" is consistently a winner.

Hi all I found my place at last!
I find the darker the beer the better. But for the last 2-5 yr its been Killian's Irish Red for me! Never was much of a beer drinker before. All the beer drinkers around me all my life drank Budwiser...No thank you. So I was always a mixed drink kinda of gal! Then a US. statistic member came to my door and asked me to take part in a survey. So I did and 6 weeks later when we were done with the survey she asked me to dinner to thank me for helping her out. She bought me Killian's with an orange slice on the rim of the glass. I fell in love with the stuff. I introduced it to my husband and now he will not go near a budwiser, Our goal whe n traveling is to try the local dark and red beers...
I have been Thru Alot; the best Cheap one is "Thunderhead" by Pyramid brewing Co. a Nice Citrusy taste.
The Hoppiest and Tastiest is "Hop Stoopid" By Lagunitas.102 IBU's 8% alcohol
it Also has a Nice Citrusy bite, Chilled;
Warm it's Just BITTER...
My Favorite Bottle; Now a Rare Collectable Due to the C2 Petitions, and/or threats of Criminal & Civil Actions, by a raving Hindu zealot who shall remain Nameless...
is the Lost Coast Breweries INDICA IPA;
Which "Had" a Wondrful Colourfull Picture of Lord "(Ganeesh)a" the Elephant headed 4 armed God Who Rides a Rat;
Sitting in a redish orange Throne, Skin Colour Orange; with a Foamy Mug in one hand; an Umbrella Snifter in the Other; and a Liquor Bottle with a Red Pot leaf in it at his Feet; Some how the Good People Of India Took Offense; and Raised enough BAD KARMA Threats to make the brewers Change the Photo To?
But I got me a Few and when I get's My Green Card (Med Pot Grow Papers); I'm a Gonna Make Me Some True Indica IPA an Bottle it in the Same Bottles..
