About migraines.. I am going to start doing cayenne pepper on a daily basis for a number of benefits. I don't have migraines but preventing or diminishing them is one of the benefits. You might want to read up about it. I've already started with some cayenne I had for seasoning and I'm ordering some bulk organic cayenne from iHerb this weekend. You need to start very gradually but I'm comfortable doing it and I'm impressed with the reported results. If you want more info, just ask
You can benefit from adding it to food (I can hardly taste it in my smoothie) and can be agood way to get started, but making a tea is better for medicinal benefits. You need to make it weak enough that you can drink it. You absorb a lot in your mouth. It may feel a bit hot for some minutes but doesn't continue if you keep it to a small enough dose. (1/8th a tsp in water..add lemon and honey, or whatever, if it helps.. for starters) And you slowly develop a tolerance for increasing the amount over time.
That's very interesting, Annie. I checked some sites and it says that cayenne "equalizes blood pressure." I wonder if that means it lowers it, or just equalizes the pressure between the brain and body. I will investigate this further.
Yeah, there's a big bout of latency going on right now.
