June 27, 2005 9:57 AM Justice for Children - Enforcement for Access Orders Currently in Canada court orders pronounced outlining access and visitation of a non-custodial parent and their child are not enforced. Thousands of children are being denied their right to form a solid relationship with their non-custodial parent (in most cases, their father). In this system Child Support payments are enforced by law and can result in jail time if the non-custodial parent does not comply. However the custodial parent (in most cases, the mother) does not have to allow their children to visit the father as ordered by a Family Court Justice. In Utah and Arizona, fundamentalist Mormon sects exist that still practice polygamy. Polygamy is illegal, but what is MUCH more disturbing is that very young girls are married off to much older men. This is child sexual abuse! One man can have 40 or more children this way, and since only one mother is legal, the others are considered "unmarried" and they use the welfare system to pay for their children. I cannot believe that children are being raped and used this way, and the government pays for this to continue. The Arizona and Utah governments are not doing enough to stop this from happening. The state has overlooked and downright ignores the abuse. THis is in the face of overwhelming evidence that was never admitted in a court despite many to have it reviewed. THere were doctors reports, counselors, child advocates and even photographs of her being abused. THe CPS refused to even act on it even when her doctors and other professionals were calling on behalf of her safety. I am know threatened with jail for trying to protect her even in the face of the fact there are and have never been to my knowledge allegations of any kind of abuse against me . She was turned over to her abusive father and his wife . Her brother and I have not been allowed to see her or even speak to her in many months. Little daughter seeing child psychologist * Little daughter returned crying is hurt when abuser and girlfriend involve little daughter in domestic violence fight. Abuser and girlfriend separate. 2001: * Little daughter returned home sick, it is winter little daughter has no outerwear abuser and parents kept. Abuser?s parents refusing to return. * Little daughter crying abuser takes little daughter to abuser?s parents house calls mother dirty names, new girlfriend plays spanking game with little daughter , new girlfriend accuses brother of spying. * Little daughter crying Abuser's new girlfriend threatens little daughter not to go near mother, drags little daughter is dragged by shoulder blade across 5 people * Sitting in chairs, forced to pray on knees for being bad, threatened mother if refusal and beatings. * Little daughter crying returned by abuser , abuser and girlfriend threatens to beat her for being bad since they can't force her to pray. * Court threatens to give little daughter to abuser if little daughter doesn't?t go on visits * Little daughter threatened to be struck repeatedly by abuser if she doesn't?t tell Abuser what little daughter told mother. * I speaks to child protection services about concerns. child protection services speak Children. Says he can't help. * Abuser remarries at wedding little daughter is burned with curling iron on forearm. burn is blistering, seeping fluid and about an inch and 1/2 long. And her underwear is removed. Abuser returns little daughter with bruising on upper arm and forearm brother sees I speak to town police they refuse to get involved. Town police send me to adjoining town. * Police statements taken and child protective services open investigation. * Within week after child protection service talks to abuser on phone only * investigation dropped by child protection services. * Child protection worker visits my home. * Family doctor makes report to child protection agency against abuser after doctor Visit regarding abuser. * Legal services mails letter stating no funds to help. * Little daughter agitated and crying . There is red mark from kneecap to ankle. Little daughter talks about wife rubbing her butt ?feels like sawing in half? booby traps, her book of wrongs, taken to another county where wife beats her, chemicals sprayed in her eyes and more. * I report again to child protection services. Angie C.	PLEASE HELP BRING MY CHILDREN HOME! April 28, 2006 12:30 AM I am writing this petition on behalf of my children, Libby, Eva, and Caitlin. I have turned to various agancies and they turn a deaf ear. Permanant Custody of my 3 children was given to my 73 year old grandmother due to financial instability on my part. Let me first tell you about me. I am a health care professional with stable employement and stable housing. I began having children when i was 16. I was a ward of the state due to the abuse i suffered growing up. My grandmother was my safe house. Naturally when i got divorced and lost my home , my job, and consequently my drive, I placed my children with my grandmother. My intentions were to get back on my feet. I was in one bad car accident after another, totalling 5 in 2 years. So getting back up was a hard thing to do.My Grandmother called child protective services and told them i abandoned my children. They made me sign a Voluntary protective agreement stating that I would leave my children with my grandmother untill i was financially stable again. I was ok with that. Then they dropped the bomb that i could only have supervised visits on specified days. Thats where everything went wrong. After 5 months involvement with Child Protective services, my grandmother filed for custody. I could not afford an attorney so i represented myself. My grandmother won hands down with her high priced attorney. Shortly after she gained custody, she would not allow me to have unsupervised visits. She soon started to be abuive twords the children. Hitting them with fly swatters for getting a math problem wrong.Pulling their hair,talking very hateful,telling them they are fat, stupid, and other things. She inspects their teeth with a flashlight after they brush, and spanks them with a belt if they arent clean. I have recieved several phone calls fom my children wich were recorded and still no one will listen.My oldest daughter has mentioned killing herself because he is so miserable there, my middle daughter had become unruly and dishonest, and my younger daughter has become overweight with a very bad self esteem. My children also have medical poblems that have not been adressed. Libby's father is a carrier of the CF gene. Libby has problms condusive to Cystic Fibrosis and has been recoimnded that she be screened, yet she has not been screened yet(2 yrs later). Eva is Bi polar and has anger outburst, yet is not seeing a psychologist. Eva was molestd by a family membr, yet grandmother denies it happened and continues to allow her around his man. Eva also has a midline hernia tha could be extremely hazardouse to her health if not corrected, yet has noit seen a doctor yet. Caitlin walked around with a broken hand for a week with no medical attention until I took her to the ER on our visiting day.Her grandmother has her moving concrete blocks around the yard.I was a young mother with financial struggles like other young single mothers. I make mistakes. I never abused, Mistreated, endangered, or done wrong by my children. Their best interest was always my focus. I am asking that you sign this petition to bring my children home. We have tried to get authorites to help us protect Kaylie. We have not seen our daughter or granddaughter since June 9, 2006. This so called baby sitter who pays rent might let the power they were given by this childs mother and start to abuse this child sexually, and I cannot believe this mother gives this man a free ticket to handle her child like that in thr first place, sadly I have ran into and or personnally know too many mothers who shouldnt have ever been Blessed with children in the first place, I am not speaking of the mother in your situation, I am just stating I have had the sad oppotunity to meet and or know mothers who just dont care. Beth D.	Justice for Brian Hawes, 2 year old murdered in Racine October 26, 2008 12:41 AM 2 year old Brian Hawes was murdered by his mother's live in boyfriend. He was charged with reckless homicide. Brian's mother is only facing 1 count of failure to prevent (criminal complaint shows that she herself abuse Brian, Brian's brother, ordered the abused and watched the abuse) We are outraged in our community that she is not facing additional charges at this time. Human Services/Child Protective Services received over 4 calls pertaining to this abuse as close as 1 week before Brian was killed. They did not remove the children.
