TAKE ACTION!......Tell President Obama to end MedMJ raids. January 23, 2009 9:52 PM

Hello,  my friends and loved ones!

I would really appeciate it if you would take a moment,  and click on the link below.  It will take you to a page from Marijuana Policy Project,  and a form to fill out,  sending a message to the President,  asking him to stop the federal harassment of MedMJ patients.

I appreciate your help and your time!

Peace and Love,

Tim  ........and Miss Bibbs

Re: [The Medical Marijuana Experience] TAKE ACTION!......Tell President Obama to end MedMJ raids. January 25, 2009 5:25 AM

I just took this action, but I also called Obama White House at 202-456-1111. The VOLUNTEER who answered the phone for me said, I wasn't the only one to call him about this and there are over a dozen volunteers and the phones are ringing off the hook. I told him about the DEA raids & asked for Obama to keep his promise about ending DEA raids on medical cannabis patients and hoped he would end them for medical cannabis providers as well. Please call. Let your voice be heard. If you get a busy signal, try again. Leave a voicemail or speak to a real person. You want change, demand it. Be the Change you want to see in the World. It is important that you take action RIGHT NOW!   Call the White House to Urge President Obama to Immediately Suspend DEA Interference   Call President Obama and urge that he issue an immediate suspension to all federal funds used to investigate, intimidate, arrest, and prosecute individuals who use or provide medical cannabis in accordance with their state laws. CALL THE WHITE HOUSE at (202) 456-1111 and say:  "Hi, my name is _____________. The Drug Enforcement Agency recently raided a medical cannabis dispensary in Tahoe, California. The dispensary was raided by DEA despite numerous statements by President Obama saying he would end federal interference with state medical cannabis laws. I'm very concerned about outgoing DEA officials undermining these state laws and aggressively threatening innocent Americans. I'm also concerned about DEA taking action that is in direct conflict with President Obama's stated position. I am pleading with President Obama to issue an immediate suspension of all federal funds used to investigate, intimidate, arrest, or prosecute individuals who use or provide medical cannabis in accordance with their state laws. We are being threatened by our own DEA. Medical marijuana patients want change, too! Please help us now."   Tony Bowles, Outreach Coordinator, ASA-MD www.americansforsafeaccess.org/maryland ---

Thank you for that,  Anthony!

Yes,  calling the White House is an excellent idea.  The Obama Administration is actively seeking the opinions of We The People.  I would also urge you to go to:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/

http://www.senate.gov/      and

http://www.house.gov/

Let's remember that these people work for us,  and if we can make enough noise in their offices,  on their phones and on their computers,  they'll get the message.   For every one person that calls or writes their senators and representatives,  they figure there are 100 more people feeling the same way who never call or write!

Make yourself heard.  As the old saying goes,  "Speak your mind,  even if your voice shakes."

Peace,  Love and Herb,         http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc187/jazzmantim3_2007/Emo-jointsmoke.gif
