I started a new group called "Computer Questions", an open forum for people looking for answers to any issues they may be having with their computers or browsers or when they're surfing through websites.
A lot of times, you see new computer users pop up at Care2 or other
sites and they don't yet know how their browsers work or how groups
work or even how to upload and download info or images. Sometimes, even
people with a lot of experience run into issues they've never seen and
have no idea what to do about them. The idea is that this group will
have relatively seasoned web surfers like us as members that can
exchange information or answer questions for those with less
"New to Firefox and can't figure out why you can't seem to copy and paste images?
Not sure why your browser is running slow? Ask us?
How do I upload this? How do I download that? Why is there no sound and yet my volume is turned way up? How do I embed those YouTube videos in Care2 group posts? Where did you get those really cool smileys? How come I can't see a toolbar when I use Safari? How do I get rid of this virus? Why does the formatting screw up when I paste this article about Obama's birth certificate? Where's the bathroom?
Hopefully, one of us will have an answer for you and if not, we'll try to find one."
Great idea Christian! I'm joining now.
I Muddle Thru Somehow;
But I Should Join and Watch for Ideas That Might help.
The answer to about 30% of the questions on feedback is ctrl-F5.
