I personaly did this only X3 so, my order came out to me cleaning up 5 metric tons. In the past when I have done this it would also save rainforest land. When I placed my order last night I didn't get that message so, I'll have to wait to see what comes in the mail and if it says I also saved rainforest as well.

Dear XXXX,

Thank you for your gift of $45.00 U.S. to sequester 5 metric tons of carbon by planting trees! 100% of your gift goes directly to The Michoacán Reforestation Fund. GreaterGood Network stores do not receive any profit from the sale of this "gift that gives more;" we bring it to you in the spirit of the greater good.

Veterans Day Must-See

Please don't miss the searing story of one of our Iraq War veterans.

My nephew, an Iraq War vet who served in and around Baghdad with the 101st Airborne, expressed mnay of the same feelings after returning home - except he is not, thank the Great Goddess, suicidal. He is attending Western CT State University now - but up until a week or so ago was contemplating re-enlisting in the National Guard full-time to try to make some sense of his life and recapture the closeness that combat veterans develop in the field.

I honor all those who served and continue to serve: my father, my uncles - one of whom, ironically enough, is buried in Italy, the country of his parents who came through Ellis Island to find those fabled "streets of gold" - and all the men and women who fight and die in our military. I despise all war and the current one in particular, but I do not hate my brothers and sisters who go. WHY must we shed our children's blood for oil?

Remember what our country used to be: the Beautiful! Share with others who care. Cate

Don't miss this expose of how our military veterans are being systematically denied due process, their rightful benefits, employment, insurance, much-needed services by being branded with secret military codes on their separation papers. This abuse dates back to the Viet Nam era and continues today.

Very important news for veterans, their families and loved ones and ALL Americans who are committed to truth and justice.

PLEASE watch or listen to the ENTIRE video & share with others as well as crosspost widely.

Special  to my Australian Care2 friend Ken for the story lead.

for caring about our veterans & their rights!

Eye-opening video that shows how US military veterans have been and are being ripped off by the government. The money for denied benefits is being funneled through ID theft into bogus bank accounts. Cui bono (who benefits)? Watch now or bookmark for later - but WATCH!
