I have to say, with all the accusations of cloning going on, I was apprehensive of creating this Group and The Broom Closet. I searched for any groups like the two and didn't see any, but if there is already one made, please let me know and I'll change it.
Yes Ange, I'm a member of your yahoo Hearth and Home Witchery group and love it. I'm not trying to mimic it, it's just that this is where my interests lie too. Feel free to add to the Recipes, Spells, and Home Remedies Swap Threads.
Thank you for joining. I look forward to sharing with everyone.

I think I may be the newest member. I just wanted to say hi and stuff and tell you all my SPECTACULAR news. I'M PREGNANT!!!!!! I found out a couple of days ago and I can't tell you how happy I am. Plus, they told me I can't have kids, so I've been channeling and focusing energy on healing my body from within... LOOKS LIKE IT WORKED!!!! I'm sorry, I just can't tell you how excited I am about my new journey. This is gonna be such a blessing.

Thanks for the invite, looks like a great group here. Congrats on the pregnancy! I know how you feel. Was told after cancer that I would have no more children as well. Imagine my surprise 8 years later when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter! I'm looking forward to reading the posts and maybe swaping some info.
Merry Meet, Merry Part and Merry Meet Again September 30, 2004 7:28 PM
Hi Atariel (and everyone),
I'm new here and I'm really enjoying the posts in this group! Atariel, you write so well! And I quite enjoyed your verse on Twas the Night Before Samhain and your "straight" talk on Wicca. It's such an open, love filled, earthy, light filled, beautiful, peaceful, acceptant, strong and seriously misunderstood practice/belief. I look forward to to the posts!
I cannot take credit for the "twas the night before Samhain" I passed it on from it being sent to me. It's an "Author Unknown" but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to the group and will be posting soon once I get this Pagan Pride Day over with.
Just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself. I am Camille and am a kitchen witch---and other kinds of witch, too! I guess you could even say I'm a sea witch as I now live on the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Thanks for the invite, Roseflame!
I am so excited about this group I just started practicing wicca and learning on my own. I need all of the help and guidance I can get. I live in north Idaho where witchcraft is abused we are a small town that people that turned to cults I don't want to practice any black magic I also wanted to know about Society of Creative Acranmys I don't know if I spelled that right but I have come upon them in the woods and they are all soward fighting and dressed in the old costumes who are they? I hope this group can help explain everything to me I don't want to mess things up! Thanks Alyia

Alyia, first off, welcome to the group. It's great to have you hear.
Society for Creative Anacronism:The SCA is a group of people who relive the midevil days the way they should have been. Being, we add a little modern thinking into the ways of old. The SCA is a diverse group of many spiritual paths, so alot of the groups don't even bring religion into the scheme of things beyond the phrases "God save the king/queen!" It is a great group to get into, you can learn alot, but it's not a place to broaden your spiritual path.
Wicca:I hope you learn all you desire from here. I would reccommend reading any Scott Cunningham book. Two books in particular I always recommend reading are first,The Practical Paganby Dana D. Eilers, and secondWicca: A Guide For the Solitairy Practitionerby Scott Cunningham.
Hope I've helped a little in your understanding of the SCA.
New member saying hello, it looks like an interesting group. Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all! Still learning how to navigate here, so be patient with me.
Just wanted to say "Hi!" to all here, and send a quick congratulations to the mom's-to-be, (much joy and many Blessings to you!). Sorry I probably won't be here for about a week or so more, my local group and I have been happily destroying my kitchen making candles...the container candles are almost done, about half the tapers, and there's still about a weeks worth of molded candles called for, for Yule baskets...and then I'll have about a day's cleaning...but I'll "see" you all soon...
Namaste Sisters and Brothers. It is a pleasure to be here. I stumbled across this group and couldnt be happier! I belong to Ange's Kitchen Witchery yahoo group, it too is spetacular. I have been on a solid Kitchen Witchery path for a few years now. I have many a recipes and spells to trade and offer! I cannot wait to begin participating..... Personally I am attending school in my town in Michigan.....I live here with my son and his father. I am gearing up for the start of a really big semester so things around the house have been crazy! Aside from school, I am your everyday Witchy mommy to my two year old. He is a budding little Wiccan, and has helped me in many ways along my journey...he is incredible insightful. Well I will leave you now, may you all have splendid nights, and mornings! Blessed be Laura

My name is Silver Moonfox, I'm 21 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm really happy I've discovered this group, because a huge part of my being a witch, my need the help people and my spirituality expresses itself in my creativity. I especially love to create incense, oils and herbal remedies and I'm looking forward to learn from all of you! My last 'project' was creating a puppet for a friend of mine who culd use some healing and (even if I do say so myself) it went really well. I don't know if you all too experience this feeling, but everytime I create something it occurs to me how simple creating things can be (not to mention loads of fun!)!
I've actually been a Member for a while now, but as many of you know, I'm also pretty much everywhere else!!! . . . So I only get to be in any one place sproradically ~ haven't quite mastered that Be in All Places at Once spell, yet!
. . . Anyway, it's nice to see so many familiar faces here . . . And some new ones!!!
Hi, I'm not new to Care2 but I am to these groups. Everyone around here (not just this group but elsewhere) seem to all know each other so it's a bit daunting! I'm 36, mum to one daughter, she's 5 and wishes to be known as Moonlit Newt, we have a growing farm in rural NH that we moved into just over a year ago. Cooking is my passion and I am a total recipe whore.

I am a new member in your group! So let me introduce myself. My name is Edda, I live in the Netherlands. English is my second language, so forgive me my mistakes.I have 2 sons, almost 16 and 19, and a husband, unfortunately no pets at the moment. I am a shinpiden-level (3a) Reiki practicioner, interested in the use of healing stones, aromatherapy, herbs and colors. I love cooking- i even have my own internet cookery site woith about 500 recipies in Dutch and about 70 in English. I also do watercolor painting...
And i am always looking alternative beatuy recipies, home remedies and alternative cleaning options..
First of all, thanks for accepting me into your group. I hope to learn
a lot from you guys, and maybe I'll even find something to share, too.
I have been Pagan for about ten years now, and have never chosen a more
specific path than that until recently, when I began training in Wicca.
I read a lot, on many topics, and am always looking for more
information. I have never been a member of any coven or group, but did
attend last summer's WicCan Fest. I am generally hesitant to join
groups, as I thrive on being alone, and am somewhat shy to share too
much with others. Although I am outwardly very friendly and open, I am
nonetheless reserved and watchful.
So I may be silent for many days at a time, but I am here
I just joined and wanted to say hello! I'm looking forward to learning from all your wisdom. I've been doing Wiccan cooking for a while and just started to really learn about baking and am LOVING it, even more than cooking. I'm learning to heal my relationship with food and food magick is helping so much.

Hi my name is Anela (my real name is Ann but prefer the later), I have been practicing Wicca for 13 years. I was taught by my Aunt, and have since taken a solitary path. I have two children who when they get old enough will be taught Wicca and other religions and allowed to choose.
I am also the Co-Owner of the Real Magick Yahoo! Group (still trying to get it and it's MySpace counterpart off the ground).....
I'm a natural helper personality, and will try to help any way I can whether it is helping to gather information, looking through my BOS for a spell, or simply lending an ear and a shoulder for support.

anyway, i'm ren, i'm 33, married with a daughter.. my husband works in africa for 4 weeks at a time so i am always lookign for people to talk to.. helps pass the time..
Hello! I've been an eclectic witch for seven years (since I was 13- a little young I know!) Just recently I started adding kitchen to that, now I call myself an Eclectic Kitchen Witch because of all those strange things coming out of my kitchen!!! I'm looking forward to getting new recipes, remedies, and other fun stuff! This group looks great!
I'm Harley. I'm a stay at home mom of 6 kids, 1 fur baby inside, 1 wild furbaby outside that just claimed me as his mommy & 3 fish. 5 live with me & my oldest lives in La.. My 5 at home are all under 7 years of age. But then they're really great kids. I've been with my dear hubby for over 10 years now. I'm pagan & he's Christian, he just doesn't practice his religion. Guess he's a backslider so to speak. He completely leaves all religion they learn up to me so I try to teach them about all aspects of religion. I'm looking forward to being an active member of this group.
Hi. My name is Robin. I am a wife and mother of a grown son. I am Pagan and consider myself a Kitchen Witch because I love to cook. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Merry Meet to all Kitchen witches out there. I am a general witch but my main love is in the Kitchen and the garden after all both are linked. I love to use my own grown foods which has a more potent effiect in my cooking. after all that which is grown from a seed by oneself is born from your love and magic enters then. i am not brillent in the kitchen but I still love to experiment and hope through you kind people that I can learn alot of recipies.
finally to mums out there your kitchen magic not only helps you but also the baby since it is through oneself that a spell can be completed.
Hi everyone! I'm new to the group and thought I would say hi to everyone. I was looking for some new recipes and saw some of the ones on here and they look great! I will definitely be trying them out.
I just joined, and figured I would introduce my self. My name is Elizabeth. I am just starting on my path (though I have felt I have been on my journey for many years now, I am just now strongly going after the path that I feel that was choosen for me) and am trying to open myself to a varity of aspects and this looked very interesting to me. I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning all that anyone is willing to teach me. I seem to have this great hunger for knowledge, and no where to look for guidence. So I pick it up as I go, and from the books that I read, but I know there is so much more for me to learn. Well I have gone on enough. I do think i will like it here very much. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your group.
Greetings Alteriel --and everyone else!! Beltaine is on the way! I have been poking around in here and there is some wonderful fnfo -- Let's get the threads moving again!!
