I love the carpet comparison and can totally agree with the living thing. I have been trying to live everyday to the fullest as of late because it finally hit me that I could be gone tomorrow. It's ok to let my hair fly and not be so uptight. Oh... sorry about all the faces ... I just realized how to work them...  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

HI, I'm new to the site.  Just wanted tosay that the carpet of pine needles douns so refreshing.  I need to picture that for peace, living in the middle of a large city.  The scent of pine would be so refreshing.

PS  So How do you get the faces?

Helen Keller is so right-contrast the smell and feel of that and listening to nature or "the silence" to the sound and smells of modernisation.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

The sound of water gurgling over river rocks and stones too...so healing.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

A sort of spiritual quote

"Look at those cows and remember that the greatest scientists in the world have never discovered how to make grass into milk."
Michael Pupin, inventor

  And the moral is ....
Mother Nature is wiser than we will ever be.  [ send green star]
