Healing Poetry July 31, 2005 3:21 PM

THE GATHERING Return to the tree too long abandoned Into its vaulted center go Be the sap that fill its branches Reaching toward realms recovered Dropping fruit to all who hunger Scattering seeds revolution sow On mother's fertile ground below Meet where we have met before There in moonlight all aglow Blinded, maimed we boldly enter Remembering as we onward go Feral strength with native wonder Dancing circles within circles Expounding our effable score Relearn our names from whispering leaves Rejoined in Ancient One once more. Great poem, Thomas - thanks. Esp loved the first two lines and this one, as well.

SILT July 31, 2005 11:41 PM

I use my walk stick

to float-walk thru the

Black Mush Silt Desert with

and decide to create some

silk out ofthe silt

I have two problems here:

1)†††††† How do I turn silt into silk

2)†††††† I want white silk from black silt

As I stand there

silt-floating using my walk stick

I mentally dance my heart to the setting sun

My heart asks for help from my brain

for this project

my brain refers the task to my soul

and my soul asks the Sun for help

The Sun is running late because it just fell back

due to government restriction

and passes the buck to

the Moon

The Moon

is having wicked-bad cramps and can only seem to glow at the moment

So I stand there

Silting about silk

then suddenly begin to

realizing that

I donít need to think about it anymore

All I need to do is

float-walk with my stick

let the silt be silty and the silk be soft

let things follow their inner nature

and Iíll get what I need.

Sorry about the spacing/ size of last post. No idea what happened, cut and paste doesn't seem to like me today :0
