Since I am an American which immigrated to Norway with my husband (though we are back in the U.S. now to finish our studies) I have found an organization here that is very helpful. It's called the Sons of Norway, and they have all kinds of resources to help those interested in anything about Norway.

They have lodges all over the US and in Norway and other countries. They have language classes, they teach about cooking, culture, etc etc.
May this be of use. (pro sit)
btw Kimberly , don't you miss Norway at all ?!

Helvete it's been a long time since I've visited the group! To Dagmar's question about if I miss Norway at all.. JA!!!
I miss it very much. Now, we are having our first child, and I keep wishing it were possible to move back to Norway before it is born. I would love for our child to be born in Norway, but I'm now entering the 3rd trimester, so there really is no way to make that a reality.
The reason I wish our child could be born there is that they would have the choice when they are 18 if they want to be a US or Norwegian citizen. If they are born in the US, it is just as a US citizen. This is the big difference between US culture and Norwegian. The US doesn't allow dual citizenship, while you are allowed such in Norway.
We will bring her (or him) home to Norway in a couple of years, and never look back.
By the way, some other good resources on Norwegian culture...
