You Will Need:
* A Black Candle
* A athame
* Black Thread
The Spell:
This spell is best performed on a dark moon or in a room with no
outside light.If time allows this is best performed at the middle hour
between dusk and dawn.
Inscribe the candle with the name of the person or people who mean to
harm you.If birthday is known use it as well .
If you do not have a name, inscribe something like aggressor,or evil
one ect.It needs to be something that represents the person to you,if
their name is unknown
Take a very long piece of black thread and begin to wrap it around the
candle, slowly repeating the following:
"Take them, bind them, round and bound,
Stop them; gag them, free from sound.
I take the fire from the south,
And purge the evil from their mouth.
I take the hatred from their heart,
And there the seed of love will start.
Until they come in gentle guise,
Remove this person from my eyes.
Bind them, wrap them, tie them tight,
Remove this person from my sight"
Continue until all the thread is wrapped around the candle 10x
Now light the wick, place the candle in a bowl of water and leave it to
burn.
You need 3 tarot cards. The Star, The High Priestess, and The Hermit.
"I call upon the Source of All things to send me power.

I call upon the Goddess to give life to my spell.

Fill in the blank with a suitable term such

In this case, keep the kelp or something
green as a component but change the
incantation to match the circumstances.

Love and peace are powers greater than we can know, but we can tap into
the energies that surround these concepts and bring them into the new
day by annointing a rose quartz with gardenia today. As you anoint the
stone, whisper "peace" and "love" to yourself, magnifying the energy in
the stone. Carry the stone with you today and any day you desire peace
and love. A few times each day, take a moment to slow and deepen your

Water Spell
Materials required:
Small piece of parchment paper
Blue ink pen.
To achieve the best results perform the spell
on the waxing moon.
Write on a peace of parchment paper a goal you
desire in your life, hold it in your left hand
and really visualise that the paper is your goal.
Believe that the spell has already worked. After
five minutes or more throw the paper into a running
stream, river or sea, and speak the rhyme below.
" Water of stream and open sea,
Tide of change
And prophesy,
Flow of life
Wild and free,
Disperse my spell
So mote it be."
As the charm floats away, the ink and paper dissolve
into the water and the spell begins to work.
Healing the Past Spell
More important than having others come to you to heal past hurts is
your own willingness to forgive. It is unhealthy both physically and
spiritually to harbor hatred in your heart. This hurts everyone who
knows
and cares about the warring factions. If there is an enemy in your
life,
letting the enmity fester interferes with your magical will and shuts
down your chakra centers. If you are unable to go visit this person
face
to face, you can send mail, e-mail, or use the telephone. Chances are
that the other party will be open to mending the fence, especially
today. If your rift is with a family member or someone who was once a
very
close friend, they will be delighted to hear from you and as anxious
to
mend the tear as you. Apologizing is never easy, particularly when one
is not sure how this reaching out will be taken. The night before the
day you plan to seek a solution, light a small orange candle and sit

Autumn Balancing Spell
Autumn is a time of balance, when light and dark are equal. The sign of
Libra also governs balance, along with matters of cooperation.
Remember that every story has two sides. When you find yourself
confronted
with a controversial issue, or when you get into an argument with a
friend, Libra energy can help. One thing you can do to tap into this
energy
at this time is make a talisman that will focus this power. Start by
lighting two candles-one blue and one yellow. Hold a coin between
them,
spinning it in your fingers so light from each candle falls on it.
Then

That never fails.
Carry the coin when you need help seeing another's viewpoint
The Seeds of Blessing Spell
On a bright, sunny day, take a handful
of fruit-bearing seeds to an area with
rich soil. Hold the seeds tightly near
your heart, repeating twice,
"As these seeds multiply and grow,
so too blessings will be sown.
For _____________ (insert name of person),
I release them to the wind,
so the magic can begin!"
At the final word of the second repetition,
release your seeds, scattering them as you
turn clockwise. If possible, take a rake
to sow them properly into the soil so the
magic germinates.

Protecting A Loved One Spell
Take two rowan twigs and tie them
in an X with red thread. Wind more red
thread round this under and over until
the X is half full. As you do so chant
the following visualising the one you
love being safe and well (if done small
enough the person it is for can carry it
round with them):
"Fire burning hot and bright,
Goodly spirits attend this rite.
Help me use this rowan tree and red thread,
To protect the one I love from what I dread.
Listen please to what I tell,
Come now and aid my spell!"
A Spell to Banish Prejudice
Break a slice of fresh bread into two equal
pieces. Eat one as an emblem of your
willingness to forgive. Bury the other with
pine needles, cloves, and a flowering seed
named after the person showing prejudice.
Speak words of healing, such as "peace,"
"understanding," and "respect," to the
seed as you tend it daily. By the time the
plant blossoms, some positive change should
take place.
General Uses -
Banishing prejudice, predisposition, bigotry,
racism, favoritism, intolerance, or partiality.
Timing -
Waning moons to decrease hostility. Waxing moons
to increase tolerance. Daytime hours to bring
truth into "light." August, October, November, and
December. Moon in Aries or Gemini. Monday or
Wednesday.
A Coral Protection Spell
A piece of coral worn as jewelry has long
been regarded as a potent protective amulet,
especially in ancient Greece. If you can find
a piece by yourself, be sure to thank the sea
for its gift. Take it to a private place to
bless the talisman, saying,
"In my life,
light shall flow,
smooth as the sea.
Let this token keep safety ever with me."
If the coral ever breaks, that will destroy the
energy within. At that time, return the pieces
to the water with gratitude before making a new
amulet.
General Uses -
Safety, shielding, warding, preservation, care,
and security.
Timing -
Tuesday and Thursday. Moon in Virgo or Leo. The
month of January. In bright sunlight.
Purpose: To undo a spell

Candle colors: use white candles, as many as you like.
Supplies needed:
one bead from a necklace you own (preferably a pearl--faux or real)
a small patch of black cloth
some string for tying
Incantation:
"I cast a spell asking <insert type of spell here>, I now
ask
the favor of having the spell removed. I understand to take
back a
spell means giving up something of my own to show my spirit is
true and my intentions are good, I give this pearl/bead from a
necklace I own. I transfer the spell into the <pearl or
bead> and
render the spell dormant. No harm may come from the
cancellation of this spell. No further power shall it have. This
is my will
-so be it."
Place the pearl/bead in the black cloth - add your angelica
herbs--tie up tightly in the string until you have wrapped the
pearl/bead entirely in the cloth. Dribble a bit of wax from the
candles on the final knot you tie. Then throw the small package
away
far from your home.
Close the circle and give thanks
A Spell for Success in Court
If you are facing a judgment in court, write
down all possible verdicts on a piece of paper.
With scissor or a knife, cut out only the desired
conclusion while focusing your mind on a positive
outcome. Carefully burn the unwanted portion, until
nothing but ash remains. Release or bury this ash
so it is symbolically "lost" to you. Carry the other
piece of paper into court, wrapped in gold cloth, as
a protective amulet.
Timing -
Equity, fairness, truth, and legal matters.
Note:
Spells for justice will not function to erase guilt
nor should they be attempted for such ends. Instead
these spells return things into balance so the results
are fair to all concerned.
General Uses -
When the sun is brightest. Moon in Libra. Months
of July and December. Tuesday.
Protection and Healing
Materials required -
Wormwood
Dragons blood
Juniper berries
Frankincense gum
Juniper oil
In a motar and pestel grind down one
teaspoon of wormwood, half of dragons
blood, five juniper berries, and a
teaspoon of frankincense gum. Add three
drops of Juniper oil and mix.
Light a charcoal block and burn the
protection incense; Chant the rhyme.
"Break O' Break this evil spell
That causes me to be unwell!
I don't desire fame or wealth
Craving only perfect health.
I banish from my heart and mind
Sickly thoughts of every kind.
Fill my cells with radiant power
Heal my body every hour.
While I wake or while I sleep
My mind and body safely keep.
Let no evil come my way
Lady of Mercy I do pray."
A Moonbeam Spell to Help You Sleep
Take your pillow to a dry area beneath the
moonbeams. Sprinkle a rosemary infusion
around it. Work in a counterclockwise manner
as you repeat,
"Away from me the thoughts of day,
away from me my worried ways."
Then change your direction to clockwise,
altering the incantation to:
"When Luna smiles through night's sky,
so sleep will come to tired eyes.
No more to wake, no more to roam,
rest is welcome in my home."
As with the last spell, repeat this last
phrase as you put your head on the pillow
every night.
General Uses -
Banishing or easing insomnia. Peaceful rest.
Timing -
Moon just rising in the sky. Night in general.
August. Moon in Gemini or Aquarius.
Steep a teaspoon of basil in a cup of boiling water, and strain out
the
herb.
Add it to you bath water for a protective and cleansing influence.
It is particularly useful to clean off the feelings left by contact
with those who are negative or controlling.
To improve a troublesome persons attitude Spell
Materials required:
A piece of Parchment paper
Black ink pen
blue candle
Light the candle and follow the chant.
"I now invoke the sacred

A Victorian Spell to Deal with Grief
In the Victorian era people carried jet when
grieving for a loved one. They believed this
black stone soaked up sadness and restored
emotional balance. This type of amulet is still
useful, especially if blessed with a prayer,
incantation, or supplication to your personal
God/dess. The amulet should be carried until
grief has lifted. Keep the stone with other
mementoes for those times when sadness returns,
such as the anniversary of a death.
General Uses -
Acceptance of loss, easing distress.
Timing -
Waning moons. Bright sunlight. During astrological water signs.
Carve the rune wunjo or wynn into a lemon. The rune brings harmony
and fellowship, among other things. Holding the lemon up as an
offering to your spirit allies, chant the rune's name three times.
Then state your intent to attract and appreciate healthy
relationships with true friends.

As you squeeze the juice into a glass of water, chant the rune's name
three more times. Pour some of your water out onto the earth in honor
of the old gods, and drink the rest.

Fall housecleaning can be a spiritual practice when you believe that
the physical is the end result of spiritual forces. As you clear away
old clutter, visualize making room for new opportunities. When
everything is clean, summon the elementals by saying:
I call upon air the power to blow,
I call upon fire, the power to glow,
I call upon water, the power to flow,
I call upon earth, the power to grow.
Light the stick of incense and carry it through each room asking the
sylphs to purify and protect your home. Light your candle and ask the
salamanders to purify your home. Sprinkle holy water and ask blessings
from the undines. Sprinkle salt and ask the gnomes for protection.
Thank the elementals for their blessings. As an extra blessing, tie
twigs of hazel together with a human hair and leave them on your mantle
for protection from fire and storm.
When you hear of friends or loved ones in need, write their name on a
slip of paper along with a brief note about their troubles, or what
you wish for them. This may be "better health, ease of mind,
prosperity," and so on. Put the slips of paper in a small cauldron.
Each day, take time to look through the slips of paper to remind you
of the people in need. On the night of the Full Moon, sprinkle a
pinch of rosemary, echinacea, and mugwort over the papers, and set
them afire. Speak this petition as the papers burn:
To mother Moon I send this plea,
May those in need be trouble-free.
Through the power of these herbs,
And my will,
So mote it be.

Go to a moving brook or stream. While standing in the water and
facing downstream, remove five small pebbles from the stream bed As you do
this, visualize your need for protection.
As your hand closes over the pebbles, see them beaming out protective
energies. Just as the pebbles are hard and have weathered for eons, so
too will they strengthen your protective shield.Now carry them at all
times for protection. If you wish, place them in a small pouch or a fold
of cloth, or incorporate them into some form of jewelry.
DIVINATION, Black and White:
Spend a few minutes gathering stones. Half should be dark and half of a
lighter color.
Place them on the ground before you. Ask your question or keep it in
mind. Close your eyes and jumble the stones around for a few seconds;
then, with your left or receptive hand, remove one of the stones.If you
picked a dark stone, the answer is yes or the prospects favorable. If
light, no.
LOVE, Stone Love Spell:
Go to a place that contains many water-worn stones. Look for a large,
flat rock while visualizing yourself being involved with the perfect
mate. On this rock mark with red ink two intertwined hearts. As you do
this, keep the visualization in mind.
When you are finished, bury the stone in the earth in an uncultivated
place.
Take any stone. Hold it in your projective hand for several minutes
while visualizing your need. Flood the stone with your need and with your
emotional involvement with your need. Send power out from your body to
the stone. Use your visualization to see it streaming into the
rock.Then throw the stone into running water. It is done.
To be rid of diseases, unhealthy habits, hurt feelings and any other
disturbing manifestations of life, hold any stone in your projective hand
and visualize the problem in detail.
Visualize the part of you that is to be banished as entering the stone.
See the problem and its causes leaving you and infusing the stone.When
you can send no more energy into it, throw the stone onto a hot fire,
throwing with it the causes and manifestations of your problem. Stand
back "the stone may explode.
If you have no fire or don't wish to have rocks exploding, throw the
stone into the air or into water, thereby releasing the problem causing
energy from your body.

"Laying on Hands" has been used since the ancient times as a method
of healing all ailments and pain. In this spell you learn one of
it's easiest applications - curing a headache.
Materials:Intent!
Procedure:
This works best if you are healing yourself, but it does work on
others also. Place your hands either on or an inch or so above the
head. Cose your eyes and feel what works best for you. Now visualise
the head as being filled with with a red light or a thick red
liquid.
Now visualise a cool blue light as streaming from your hands and
forcing the red out. As the blue touches it should soothe the pain.
If you're doing it properly, you will most likely encounter some
resistance on the part of the red. All in all it may take five
minutes or so to force out, but just keep forcing that cool blue
light in and the painful red out. As you do this, it may help to
chant something like:
"God/Goddess I pray,
Take it away."
Note: This is one of the most simple and effective magickal cures I
know of. You can also use this on any other part of the body. Try it
on your animals also, they truly respond, from my experience. As an
intersting note, it may sometimes be useful to charge any type of
herb or drug just before you take it ( I dont mean recreational
drugs here!) with the same cool blue light. Also, the chant here is
not necessary, nor is it something frequently used by practitioners
of this type of spell. I use it simply because I figure, what can it
hurt to have a little God/Goddess power in your workings?
* Face each direction (with arms out in appropriate elemental
invoking
gesture), and say, while channeling and visualizing elemental power:

* After each invocation, shape the energy into columns of light
by
sweeping ones arms together until they are parallel and sweeping them
up and down
while channeling and shaping the energy,

put
your hands out and take in a bit of the energy into your self from
each

when
needed).

Perform a burying spell and lay to rest an old hurt, a dead
relationship, or an outgrown habit. Choose
a symbol that embodies the aspect of your life that you need to let go
of— a cigarette for example can represent an obsolete love affair,

To express your need, try writing a letter as though you were writing
to a dear friend. This is good practice for communicating with others
and for knowing yourself. Choose paper and ink color that best
corresponds to your need. Decorate the paper, making it as visually
attractive as possible. Use paint, markers, stickers, colored pencils,
drawings, pictures, or use a computer and add clip art. Take the letter
outside and read it to the universe or to the deity of your choice.
Know that someone is listening and hearing your plea. End with this
statement: "I will take action necessary to support my desire. For the
good of all and harm to none, so mote it be." To add extra energy, mail
the letter to yourself. After you receive it, place it on your altar
until the spell manifests.
Tis the season now for overeating, especially of sweets. To assist your
efforts to battle this, keep fennel tea handy. Add about a quarter
teaspoon of fennel herb to a coffee mug. If you really like the taste
of licorice, add a small amount of anise herb, too. Boil some water,
and pour it hot over the the herb(s). Let the herbs steep for two to
three minutes, then strain them out. Let the tea cool, and then
refrigerate. When you need some relief from gas or upset stomach, drink
about a quarter cup of the your licorice ice tea. Note: Children should
have not have fennel tea unless it is diluted to not more than one-
eighth cup of tea to one cup water.
Travel To Mother Spell
To show your appreciation for the fall harvest, find a tree that you
can commune with in private. Walk up to the tree, sensing the presence
of Mother Earth in it. Ask the tree if you may enter its aura, then sit
with your back against the tree. Reflect on the harvest, then listen to
what the Mother says to you. Give the tree a stick of plant food by
pressing it into the earth at its roots. Give yourself a hug for what
you have learned.
Fall housecleaning can be a spiritual practice when you believe that
the physical is the end result of spiritual forces. As you clear away
old clutter, visualize making room for new opportunities. When
everything is clean, summon the elementals by saying:

Light the stick of incense and carry it through each room asking the
sylphs to purify and protect your home. Light your candle and ask the

blessing, tie twigs of hazel together with a human hair and leave
them on your mantle for protection from fire and storm.
This is a spell that will protect and bless your Book of Shadows. In
this waxing Moon phase you can visualize the pages of your book
growing thick with wisdom and witchery. Set the book up on your work
space, light a few candles, get your favorite incense going, and set
a magical mood. Now ground and center yourself. Raise your energy
high, and then hold your hands palms down over the book. Repeat the
charm while you empower the book with the powers of the four
elements, knowledge, wisdom, and illumination.

CLEANSING BOTTLE
To make an herbal cleansing bottle, pour a layer of sand in a large
clear bottle.
Add layers of dried herbs, one at a time: first rosemary; then lemon
peel, sage, cedar,
black peppercorns, lavender, dill, bay leaf, and rowan.
When the bottle is full, focus cleansing protective energy into the
herbs and sand,
and see a golden light radiating from the bottle.
Visualize the herbs driving away negative influences.
Cork and seal the bottle with white wax.
Using a permanent marker, draw the Algiz rune on one side of the
bottle, and on the
other side draw a pentagram. Set the bottle near your front or back
door, and every six months, uncap, Pour herbs out into the woods or your
compost heap, and thoroughly wash and dry the bottle before filling it
with a new round of herbs.
Incense: 1 tablespoon pine needles 1 tablespoon juniper 1 tablespoon
cedar
Make sure all ingredients are completely dry. Grind ingredients
together and burn on charcoal.

Do the following spell, and while doing so, remember to focus on your
intent for a peaceful household. Sew a small pouch of lavender cloth.
Place a small trinket in the pouch for each member of your household.
Add to this a pinch each of lavender, rose and chamomile, before
placing each pinch in the pouch, remember to hold it for a moment and REALLY
focus, finally, add a small amethyst.
Now, anoint a lavender or pink candle with peace oil(see recipes) and
then light it.
Sit in front of the candle and hold the pouch in your hands and whisper
the following chant over it softly 3 times:

Draw a picture of yourself with the disease, wound or condition.
Clearly point out the problem in the picture; a large hammer to the
head to represent a headache;
black worms for a virus; a broken limb; a sore.
Charge a red candle with healing energy. Light the candle's flame.
Hold the tip of the picture in the flame. After, it's lit, drop it
into a heatproof container.
Now, with the red candle still burning, draw another picture of
yourself without the headache,
free of the virus or sore, with a healed limb.
Place this picture under the red candle and let it burn out.
Burn a black candle anointed with banishing and burn banishing
incense.
Concentrate on removing whatever the health problem may be by saying:

on the New, waxing, or full moon with the focus on healing and
getting better. Place the
bowl of water with stone out under the moon to collect Her energies
and blessings.
Say something along to lines of:

Then leave it outside under the light of the moon for nine minutes,
nine being a healing number.
You might also sit before the water and meditate over it, collecting
and projecting healing energies into it.
Then bring it indoors, store it in a glass container such as a mason
jar and use.
You could also drop a bit of blue food coloring into it and keep it
in a vial to carry as a talisman.
Use some of it in bathing waters along with a healing herb or oil.
You could also anoint your forehead with it or afflicted are and
then go deep into a
meditative state concentrating on healing the
disease/illness/problem.
While in the shower, visualize yourself standing under a waterfall.
Ask the spirits of water to cleanse, consecrate and empower your

As the water runs down your body, visualize the negativity swirling
off you and down the drain.
When you towel dry, ask the spirits of the air to cleanse,
consecrate, and empower
your body, mind and spirit in the name of healing as well.

What you'll need: 3 candles; blue, white, pink incense (1 part
allspice, 1 part rosemary)
paper with name of recipient quartz crystal
Place candles on altar in semi-circle, with the incense off to the
side
Place the person's name in the center, with the quartz crystal on
top.
Center yourself, and inhale the incense.
Gather energy, and when you feel ready, release the energy,
directing it through the
crystal to the recipient.
Take a poppet and sprinkle it liberally with blessing oil.
Rub a perfume oil all over your hands and hold them over the dolls
head, palms open and say:
You are very ill-be healed
You will recover-be healed
Heal! Heal! Heal!
Now blend equal amounts of Rosemary perfume oil, Violet perfume oil,
Voodoo oil
and Damnation powder. Mix thoroughly until you have a paste.
Completely coat the doll from top to bottom with this mixture and
repeat the words given above.
After several times, carefully wrap the coated doll in a piece of
red cloth and hide it away,
it must not be seen for several days. Then take the doll and burn it
and scatter the ashes to the wind.
Cord (or knot) magic is a simple, yet effective way to work magic.
The only thing you need to do this kind of magic is a piece of
string. The string should be thick, but not too thick that you can't
tie knots in it. It also shouldn't be so thin that you can't get the
knots out. A piece of ribbon would work well, or a cord that you can
buy at the craft department of a store. The way this works is that
for every knot you tie, the magic builds up untill you tie the last
knot and the magic is sent out. Then when the magic has worked, you
untie all the knots.
The Specifics:
The cord should be 13 inches long and in the color that corresponds
to your goal. See color correspondences page. Some traditions have a
red, white, or black cord that is 9 feet long and is worn around the
persons waist during rituals. This kind of cord is never thrown out,
but reused over and over again. But for this example, lets just say
your using a cord that is 13 inches long and you will probably throw
out, bury, or burn afterwards.
First relax your body and ground and center like you would before
any ritual or spellworking. Hold the cord in your hand and envision
all the negativity draining from it, going from your feet into the
ground where the earth will soak it up and destroy it. Think about
what it is you want to accomplish and infuse it with good energy.
Then tie a knot in the order that the diagram shows below.
**note** Some people tie the knots in different orders, but I like
this way best.
While you tie the first knot say: "By knot one, this spells begun"
Then imagine the power starting to rise as you go on to the next one.
"By knot two, it cometh true"
"By knot three, so mote it be"
"By knot four, this power I store"
"By knot five, this spells alive"
"By knot six, this spell I fix"
"By knot seven, events I'll leven"

As you tie each knot, you would imagine the power rising untill you
come to the ninth one. Then you would send the energy off into the
universe.
If the spell was for something coming to you, like love, money,
creativity, happiness, etc, then you would keep the cord with you
untill the spell worked. Then you would untie all the knots in the
opposite order they were first tied. You could then reuse the cord
if you like. If the spell was for something going away from you,
like banishing bad luck, anger, illness, etc, then you would burn
the cord or bury it immediatly after you worked the spell.

names to
the Moons of the year. The November Moon has gone by these and many
other
names: Apple Moon (Appalachian), Beaver Moon (Colonial American), Dark
Moon
(Celtic), Frost Moon (Almanac), Larder Moon (Stregheria), Moon When
Horns Are
Broken Off (Dakota), Mourning Moon (Neopagan), Remembrance Moon
(Neopagan),
Sassafras Moon (Choctaw), Slaughter Moon (Dutch), Snow Moon (Medieval
English,
Wiccan), Sorting Moon (Neopagan), Trading Moon (Cherokee), Tree Moon
(Neopagan), White Moon (Chinese). Each culture marks time based on
what it considers
most important. Lists of twelve or thirteen lunar months tend to
describe
prominent seasonal events based on local weather, wildlife, or society.
It gets
cold and dark, apples ripen, deer shed antlers, people decide what to
keep or
not for the winter, festivals honor the dearly departed—all these
things
characterize late autumn in different places. Neopagan culture is all
about
reconnecting with the Earth. Today, honor the New Moon of November by
giving it a
name that describes what happens in your family or immediate
environment.

1 glass jar 1/2 to 1 cup salt 3 cloves garlic 9 bay leaves
7 tsp. dried Basil 4 tsp. dill seeds 1tsp sage 1tsp anise
1tsp black pepper 1tsp fennel 1 bowl
In the morning ideally on a bright sunny day assemble the items.
Place in the bowl and say: "Salt that protects, protect my home and
all within."
Add the cloves of garlic: "Garlic that protects, protect my home and
all within."
Crumble the Bay leaves and place in the bowl:
"Bay that protects, protect my home and all within."
Add the basil and say: "Basil that protects, protect my home and all
within."
Add the dill and say: "Dill that protects, protect my home and all
within."
Add the sage and say: "Sage that protects, protect my home and all
within."
Add the anise and say: "Anise that protects, protect my home and all
within."
Add the fennel and say: "Fennel that protects, protect my home and
all within."
Mix together the salt and the herbs with your hands, throughout the
movement
of your hands and fingers lend energy to the potent protective
items, visualize
your home safe and as a shining secure place. Pour the mixture in
the jar and cap tightly,
Place it in your home with these words: "Salt and herbs, nine times
nine
Guard now this home of mine"
Take a mason jar and put pins, needles, razor blades, cactus spines,
rose thorns, broken glass, etc. in it.
Prick your finger and let at least 3 drops of your blood into jar
(this binds the jar to you). While making the bottle concentrate
your thoughts on what you are doing.
Urinate in the bottle and seal it well. Dig a hole and put it in it
and say:
"Lord of Life, Lady of Light - Join me here for this rite
I have made this bottle for my protection
According to ancient ways and tradition.
Direct all harm sent my way - To this grave I make today.
Return it three fold to the send - And let my life ever be better
Open my ears to hear and my eyes to see, As I will, So Mote It Be!"

In a sachet, combine the following herbs: St. John's Wort, sage,
calamus and dragonsblood powder. Set the sachet aside for later. Fill an
incense brazier with dragonsblood incense. On your altar, you will need an
athame, a whole ripe lemon, 1 white and 1 black candle, a bowl of salt
and a bowl of water. You will also need a glass or ceramic plate to set
the lemon on when you are done. Do not use paper or wood.
Light the candles and the incense. Hold the lemon in both hands and
visualize it magnetized and drawing the negative spell away from you. Dip
your athame in the water then slice the lemon into three pieces. Set
the athame aside and visualize the lemon drawing the negativity away from
you and into the pulpy fruit. Repeat the following:
As sour as this lemon be
Charged and cut in pieces three
With salt and water I am free
Uncross me now, I will it be.
Let this lemon do it's task
It's cleansing power I do ask
As this lemon dries in air.
Free me from my dark despair.
Uncross! Uncross! I break his curse.
But let not my simple spell reverse.
I wish no ill, nor wish him pain
I wish only to be free again.
Take each lemon slice and dip it in the salt, making sure it is well
coated. Set the slices back on the altar and say:
As it is my will, so mote it be!
Leave the lemon pieces on the altar where they can dry. Once dry the
spell is complete and the lemon can be thrown away or buried. If however
the fruit rots instead, you must repeat the spell. While waiting for
the fruit to dry, keep the sachet with you at all times. It will help to
protect you from the effects of the spells and turn away any negativity
sent in your direction.
This is a very simple spell that is bound to get rid of any stalker,
any one who causes harassment, or simply is being a pain in the ass.
All you need is a picture of that person. If that's not available then
any thing that belongs to him/her. Or you can even choose a place where
he spends most of his/her time, like the chair, couch or even the door
of the house where the person lives. For the sake of reference we will
call the door, the picture or what ever is chosen as the "dummy"

Find a place to be alone. This place should be comfortably lit and free
of smoke and fumes (this includes incense and essential oils). Place
two chairs (one comfortable enough to relax in) facing each other. Sit
in the relaxing chair. Take two slow, deep breaths and allow your eyes
to fall naturally on the other chair. Now instruct your central 'self'
(or your higher self, subconscious mind, or whatever you use for
non-conscious workings) to form an image of the pain in that chair. REMEMBER
TO BREATHE! As the image starts to appear, concentrate on making it as
detailed as possible without letting your conscious mind interfere. Once
the image is complete, note its appearance and then allow the
remainder of your discomforts to flow into it (without otherwise empowering it
or lending it your energy or essence). REMEMBER TO BREATHE while doing
this. When the transfer is substantially complete, take two deep,
relaxing breaths, stand up, and walk away (leaving the image in its chair).
After an hour or so, the image will dissipate, making it safe to move
the chair. After you have successfully done this two or three times, you
can start streamlining it and customizing it to suit your own tastes.
If the effectiveness starts to fade, return to this method for a few
times. This spell can be used for a variety of discomforts, but it can
also mask medical symptoms. In case of chronic or prolonged problems,
CONSULT A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY! After all, there are few enough of us as it
is!
All Witches know that the night is a regenerative and protective
force that can be harnessed. Sea salt is sacred as it comes from
deep
within the womb of our mother the ocean goddess. While her
protection
is part of everyone, sometimes we need a little extra comfort. We
can
use charged sea salt to provide this. All you need is a bowl, salt,
and a safe storage place. Pour all the salt you need to empower into
the bowl. Place your hands over the bowl and chant:

Keep chanting and building energy. When you are ready to release the
energy, let the energy pour into each grain of salt. See a
protective
white light surrounding it. Carry the salt with you or place it on
your altar. Use it whenever and wherever you need to.
In the mundane world, we can protect our homes from many things. We buy
insurance, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. We install
safe locks and we kid-proof. We even put together emergency kits for
“acts of god”.
Should the protection end there? No. The unseen energy in your home
plays a huge part in the overall protection your home affords. Too often,
we forget that with just a few minutes a day, we can create a boundary
so powerful, neither unseen nor seen may penetrate.
The first necessity in protecting your home is intent. Intent is and
remains the first factor of the unseen powers that reside in every human
being. With the right intent, we can work miracles. With the right
intent, we can project ourselves and our energy. Focus, stay focused while
you employ these devices and your protection will be strong and sure.
Salt is a probably considered to be number one in items of protection.
Salt renders all the powers of the element earth and because of its
natural cube shape, it holds negativity in and can be discarded easily.
Sprinkle salt across doorways and windowsills. Any entry or exit portal
from your home is open to negative energy entering. Close them. Seal
them with intent. Do a parameter walk of your property and leave a trail
of salt around the entire area (if feasible). The barrier erected by the
salt is tough and resilient. It repels that which is unfamiliar.
Directionals are an important factor in protection. Directionals can be
any symbol, color, herb, stone or element which represents the
directions. North is earth, South is fire, East is air and West is water. If
possible, have some kind of symbolism residing in the appropriate
quadrants of your homestead. With these in place, a circle is created; the
quadrants blending at their outside edge. When the elements are allowed
to “bleed” into the next, the result is a network of enhanced protection
webs.
Stones and crystals provide amazing power when treated with the respect
they deserve. A crystal garden is ideal for home protection. You
choose the needs for your home that will be represented in this garden. You
put the energy and creativity into building it and maintaining the
atmosphere of it. Make sure it has @{rose quartz}@ included. Rose quartz is
a crystal of protection. Tension in a home can cause rips in the web
around your home. Tension allows negativity to slip in unnoticed and
feed it. Rose quartz helps to relax the tension in your home, therefore
strengthening the web.
Home decor and enhancement plays a part in the home’s balances and
energy. Check out some feng shui sites to see how altering slightly the
color or decor can enable an arsenal of protection. Techniques as simple
as pretty wind chimes can make a difference.
Your blessing goes hand in hand with intent. It is paramount that you
have intent; it is the icing on the cake that you have a heartfelt

Finally, for protection in a gentle and entirely interactive way, a cup
of tea works wonders. Sit quietly at sunrise with a cup of
apple/cinnamon, or berry and orange tea. Sip it slowly as you face the rising sun
and ask for the protection you require. Ask it of the grandest symbol
of fire in our existence. Fire will strengthen and enhance all other
methods. But the tea will warm your soul, reducing tension and enabling
the power inside you.

*I would suggest lighting a candle with this. I usually use a white
candle
for spirit. Then I would use a candle for the person that the
energy is
being sent to, a color of your choice, with their name carved on
it. I would
either roll the candle in glitter, along with an oil of your
choice. if you make
your own candle, I would put some glitter in it. You can also buy
scented
oiled glitter.
This spell doesn't mean that you have to let this person back in
your life
unless they change and you want to. It is just a positive way of
letting
go of resentment and sending them love. They can still go their
separate
way, but you have sent them a prayer of healing. As the saying
goes, "A
spell is a witch's prayer." And this may well keep them from
getting so much
on your NERVES.
This spell can also be tweaked to just send positive energy to
positive
people.
For a beautiful and functional arrangement, try this simple technique.
Gather ten pinecones. Spray paint five of them gold. Take the other
five and apply spray glue to the tips. Dust with ground cloves, ginger,
cinnamon, and orange zest. Tie holly leaves and pine needles in little
bundles with red ribbon. Attach the pinecones to a straw wreath with
wire, and tuck the greenery, along with baby's breath, into the open
spaces. Place white candles nearby. As you hang the wreath, channel
vibrations of protection into it. Visualize a blue light slowly surrounding the
entire area. When you light the candles each night, call upon these
energies and allow the blue bubble to form over the whole house.
During the time surrounding the great turning of the year wheel, magic
would have been performed to protect against any unwanted energies, and
to ensure positive influences in the newly born year. In Scotland,
amulets were used for protection, either worn or carried upon the person
or carefully placed in the home. Necklaces of lucky stones were created
and worn, as were bracelets of leather, copper, braided hair, or red
coral. Iron and rowan berries were also used, as was an amulet of senna,
mint, and rue. In ancient times, the Picts (early Celtic inhabitants of
northern Britain, renowned for their tattoos) created and used white
quartz pebbles for healing and probably also for protection. These were
quartz river stones, smoothed by the water's motion, on which were
painted certain symbols or patterns in red. Create a special amulet to
protect you, guide you, and bless you as you walk along the path of the Old
Ones in this new year.
Dill is a very versatile herb that can be used for protection, to
dispel negative energy, or to attract money. The smell of dill is often
enough to stimulate lust and other such feelings. Eating or bathing in dill
can make you irresistible to those you desire. To promote this, while
you visualize yourself as irresistible to the object of your desire,
create bath salts by combining a half-cup of Epsom salts with a half-cup
of dill weed and a half-cup of orange peel. Run your bath water; pour
the bath salt and herb combination into a bowl, and pour approximately
two cups of steaming water into the bowl. Place a towel over your head
and carefully inhale the steam from the bowl for approximately ten
minutes while you continue to visualize yourself being irresistible.
Visualize your desired love object being overcome by your beauty and charms.
Once the time is up, pour the contents into your bath water and soak
while continuing to visualize. Put this energy into effect as soon as
possible by seeking out the attentions of the target of your desire.
Amethyst is known to balance energies and bring strength, stability,

For this spell to find a lost cat or other small pet, you'll need the
assistance of a tree, rock, or other outdoor entity-preferably one in
your yard or very near your home. Take one of your cat's favorite toys
and some cat food to the tree. Tell the tree about your pet and that you
are concerned because of how long he or she has been missing. Ask the
tree if it will help you by providing a beacon for your cat to follow to
get home. Leave the cat food near the tree. If a small rock gets your
attention, bring it and the cat toy into the house. Keep them near the
door. Every time you pass the toy, thank the tree for its help in
providing a beacon for your pet.
Spread out a white handkerchief. On it, place a clipping of your pet's
hair and a picture of your home or one of you and your pet together.
Imagine your pet back in its favorite inside place, sleeping contentedly.
Keep this image in mind and say:

I made a few of these fertility bracelets up for myself and thought I
would add it to the site.
Rose quartz and Moonstone are both listed as Fertility crystals. I
added the baby themed charms for extra luck.
These would make a great gift for someone you know who is trying to
conceive a baby.
Start by designing your bracelet. Crystal chips are less expensive than
shaped beads this is something you might want to consider when buying
your crystals. The shape of the beads or chips makes no difference to
the healing qualities of the crystal.
You can layout your bracelet in any design, but use the image above as
a guideline if you need some inspiration for your layout.
The baby charms were bought from a scrapbooking shop.
I added a stork and a butterfly which represents new life.
At night time light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have
available to contain the fire. Write on a piece of paper that is 3
inches x 3
inches, the words BAD LUCK. Then write down any bad things you do not
like in your
life right now. Then draw a big X across the paper with a black
marker. While
doing this you should be thinking of how all these things are going to
disappear from your life, never to return! Place the paper in the
fire and repeat
the following words 3 times...
"Fire, fire burning bright
turn my darkness into light!
Take away my bad luck ill,
bring me nothing but goodwill.
Bad luck came and stayed to long,

After repeating these words 3 times, sit for a few minutes and

on the bad luck being gone and the good luck coming your way! When you

inches, the word Rumors and the rumors that are being spread about
you. Do not
write the names of those who are slandering you! You do not want to
harm them and

Sit and concentrate on all the bad gossip going away for a few
minutes, then
extinguish the fire!
Amulet Protection Spell
Place a jewel, that you regularly carry on you, in a cup of spring
water a
day before the full moon. The following day, on the evening of full
moon, stir
the water three times with your finger in a clockwise motion. Take the
cup
in your hands and in a clockwise, stirring motion, move the cup in a
clockwise, circular, stirring motion three times. Then, repeat these
words aloud:
Oh Light of the Moon,
Wrap me
Protect Me
Keep me from harm.
Raise the cup towards the sky and drink the water. Remove the jewel
from the
cup. You must carry it on your person to the next full moon in order to
ensure your protection. Repeat this ritual every month to benefit from
its
influence.
Cast a Circle. Sit facing south and light a green or blue candle. Have
a
doll or stuffed animal. Take it in your hands and sprinkle it with salt
water.
Say:
"I name you _________________."
(Use your own childhood name or nickname.)
Hold it in your arms, croon to it, rock it, and talk to it. Tell it
everything you would have liked to hear as a child. Let it talk to you
and tell you
how it feels and what it wants. Let your voice change. Play.
Raise energy and visualize that you are pouring it into the doll, who
is
your own inner self. Create an image of your own child self as you
would have
liked it to be, and project it into your doll. Continue until the doll
is
glowing with white light and love.
Kiss the doll. Wrap it in white cloth and lay it to rest on your
altar. Bind
the spell. Earth the power. Open the Circle. Repeat as often as you
need or
want to.

To enable you to forgive someone who has wronged you, write their name nine times with red ink on the piece of paper.
Place the paper into the jar and cover it with the vinegar.
Secure the lid on the jar.
Maybe even melt some wax around it.
Bury the jar away from your home.
All Witches know that the night is a regenerative and protective
force that can be harnessed. Sea salt is sacred as it comes from
deep
within the womb of our mother the ocean goddess. While her
protection
is part of everyone, sometimes we need a little extra comfort. We
can
use charged sea salt to provide this. All you need is a bowl, salt,
and a safe storage place. Pour all the salt you need to empower into
the bowl. Place your hands over the bowl and chant:
I am protected by
your might,
great goddess of
day and night.
Keep chanting and building energy. When you are ready to release the
energy, let the energy pour into each grain of salt. See a
protective
white light surrounding it. Carry the salt with you or place it on
your altar. Use it whenever and wherever you need to.
To break the ties of a destructive relationship, prepare to handle
phone calls from the person trying to manipulate or control you. Place
a mirror on the wall behind your telephone. Place a drawing pad next
to your phone. Look into the mirror and smile. Draw a picture of the
person, with his or her head on the body of a toad. Practice taking a
phone call from that person. Imagine some of the things he or she may
say, and how it will affect you. Once again smile at yourself, and
say: "I know you, and you know me. My life has changed, because I see.
From ties that bound, I now am free. You have no power over me." When
the call comes, take a deep breath and recite the words. Every time you
hear a manipulative phrase, write "ribbit" on the note pad.
This powerful technique unites the chakras to create a shield fully
embedded with all aspect of your will and energy. Begin by visualizing
performing the Psychic Center Visualization as detailed in the Energy
Techniques document. A quick rehash: Charge the crown chakra, and draw a
line down to the 3rd eye chakra. Charge the 3rd eye before drawing a line
to the throat. Charge and continue to the heart, charge this chakra
and draw a line of white light to the solar plexus chakra. After charging
the solar plexus you move to the sex chakra, charge it and then onto
the root chakra. As mentioned before, this is an adaptation of the
traditional chakra system to have a center between the two feet so draw one
more line to the ground center and charge this area. Create two lines
of light from this center that swoop to each side of you in an upward
curve before connecting with the crown chakra above your head. Begin
cycling your energy through the lines through
breathing.
Instead of stopping at this point continue cycling but move your focus
to the curved lines at your side. We want to move these two line
simultaneously clockwise so that they being to spin around the body. Let them
put of energy as they continue to move faster and faster until their
light forms a solid wall of energy that surrounds you. Spin this wall of
energy around you for a few moments. When you feel ready, let the
image of the chakras fade from your mind, and let the spinning motion end,
but hold onto the image of all the energy the chakras surrounded you
with.
How often and how long?
You should practice shielding techniques at least once a day until your
body picks up the habit and begins to naturally reinforce your shields
with energy. After a month or two you should be proficient enough that
you only need to revisualization your shields once a week. If you find
yourself in a particularly nasty situation where you need an extra
amount of protection, feel free to shield yourself again even if you had
done so earlier in the day. As you become more comfortable and skilled
at these techniques you will find it possible to reinforce your shield
with a little concentration and even while you body is in motion or
otherwise distracted.
The Burning Flame is best used in situations that may be dangerous or
that you require a great amount of protection over a short period of
time. If you are entering a place/meeting/situation with a terrible amount
of negativity you can perform this technique. Some people visualize
their shields as a fire surrounding them at all times which is fine,
although the method presented here is geared toward an emergency situation
or on a temporary basis since it uses high amounts of energy.
Stand perfectly upright with your legs together and your arms flat
against your side. Go deep inside yourself to the center of your being.
Approach all of this with a confident intensity, your mind focused on your
need for protection. Find your center and know that in your center is
an intense source of energy, the very energy that all your magical
abilities come from. With your consciousness in this core of your being,
create an eruption of energy within yourself. Like a volcano building up
pressure, cause your energy to rise and expand from your center out. As
the energy reaches the outside of your body have it burst into a blue
flame that surrounds your body. The curved base of the flame should be
at your feet and the tip of the flame above your head. The intense
energy flame will burn any outside vibrations before they can reach you.
This flame won't harm you physically since it's a spiritual flame, but it
will stop any other spirit or energy from
touching you. Once the flames surround you, try to keep part of your
mind focused on it as you proceed through the situation you felt
required extra protection. Imagine more energy fanning the flames stronger and
higher as you exhale.
As with any of these techniques, practicing first in a safe place is
highly recommended.
The most basic technique for protecting oneself magically is to simply
imagine yourself inside a ball of white light that turns away any
energy before it can touch you. When you visualize this ball of light around
you, you want to make sure it appears opaque and solid in your minds
eye. This bubble should probably extend about a foot above your head,
and at least 6 inches below your feet. It doesn't have to be a perfect
sphere; just make it fit around your body in whatever shape seems most
comfortable or appropriate. You want to enforce the energy in the areas
above and below you to be just as strong as the area in front and behind
you. Rest assured that even after you come out of your concentrated
state, this bubble will move with you without problem. Any vibrations
that touch it will simply pass over and around your shield like the wind
moving over your car. In the rare circumstance that your shield comes up
against someone else's, it will bend to
compensate, but not break. Much like two balloons pressing together.
You need to hold the image of an impenetrable force field in your mind
for at least a good solid minute or two, before returning to your
everyday life.
Recite 3 times the following:

eyes still closed chant

Now touch and middle of your pentacle with your wand and hold it

Burn white candle on next full moon before retiring for the night. As

go to bed with a white feather inside your pillow case. Pay particular
attention to dream you have that night, it will give you a clue. And

you do not dream then be very aware of your surroundings the next few

Give another hug and kiss. Wish a good night sleep, etc. Go to bed
yourself.
On rising each day, hold a silver amulet of a horse towards the
Eastern sky and charm it thus:

From dawn 'til dawn luck shall abide.
From minute to minute, hour to hour,
keep me safe with this power,
Keep me now from evil's harm,

Keep the amulet on your person until the next morning.
Do each pet separately. Light a white candle and then, holding your
pet (or its picture), kneel before the altar and recite the following
prayer:
O Great Horned God, father of the woodlands, and loving lord of all
creatures that walk crawl, swim and fly.
A threefold blessing I humbly ask of thee on this special day:
May (pet's name) life be a long, happy and healthy one.

Chant name of pet and Blessed Be three times
Get a white candle-either a plain one (offertory, pillar, or taper)
or a figural one in the gender of the person you want to bless.
Carve the person's full name on the candle, then dress it with
Blessing Oil or Holy Oil.
For more power, you may place a name-paper of the person, or a photo,
or some personal item of theirs (such as a bit of hair or a snippet of
clothing) either under the candle or next to it. One easy way to do
this is to place the paper or personal concerns under an overturned
saucer and put the candle on top of the saucer.
Burn a portion of the candle every day for seven days, pinching it
out between burnings. As you light it each day, say this
[Name], may you be blessed
May all good things come to you
May nothing whatsoever harm you
May your heart be light
May your travels be safe
May your health be good
May your mind be sound
May your friendships sustain you
May you be blessed in every way
If you have a special request for this person (such as that they find
a lover, get a good job, come home safely from a war, or whatever),
just add it to the list.
Some people use a large pillar-type candle and keep it going for
longer than seven days.
They may make a habit of burning such a candle every day-or once a
week, on Sundays -- for as long as their friend or relative needs
help,
even doing so for months at a time.
If the candle is large and it is to be burned in this way, it should
be re-dressed with Blessing Oil or Holy Oil once a week: after the
initial dressing, you can drop a tiny bit of oil into the "well" or
hole in
such a large candle just before lighting it each time.

The Spell: Burn prosperity incense and anoint the candles with
prosperity oil. I would Use cinnamon. Anoint from wick to end. These
candles
should be in a safe place, They have to burn out entirely.
Place the brown candle in the centre, the green on the right and the
astral on The left.
Light the astral:
"I ask for change,
That is my right,
Open the way,
Clear my sight"
Light the green:
"Good luck is mine and prosperity,
Help me Great Ones,

Light the brown:

Leave these to burn out completely and dispose of the wax afterwards.
Each night
For a week, or until the candle is used up, light a second brown
candle for 9 Minutes while meditation and gaining balance in
preparation
for the job and the Good to come.
During this time period, actively seed a job. Listen to your intuition
and Follow up on all leads.

Call upon your highest teacher, angel, or God to clear the spirit.

Use a black candle, with a picture of the person (if obtainable)
placed underneath,
also a piece of parchment with the person's name on it.
Carve the Divine Names "Eel kanno taf" onto the black candle.
Anoint the candle with Banishing Oil. Burn for nine nights, each
night reading Psalm 94.
Put the candle out after Psalm is done (NOT by blowing it out).
On the last night let the candle burn all the way down.
While the candle burns (on each night), meditate and focus strongly
on the aim in mind.
Imagine strongly the person leaving you alone; imagine strongly
their evil deeds turning
back onto themselves. Do this for about 5 minutes each night before
you pray the Psalm.
(Note: a purple candle could also work for this, but used black if
this person had
been very harassing in a serious way).
You will need:
* three small pine branches, a few feet in length (or three fern
fronds)
The Spell:
To banish evil that has come, go into your garden at night.
Cut three small pine branches, a few feel long, or three fern

Circle your garden with these slowly and call forth all the powers
and spirits of your garden

Earth Mother. Then "sweep" the house with these branches or fronds,
pushing all the
dark energies out the front door forcefully, saying:

Throw the branches away, off your property.
Say "What is dark be filled with light, remove this spirit from my

Before starting place your hand before you, and start the flow of
power out of your hand
and then say the words, letting the envisioned blue-white light from
your power hand
fill the room or house or any other place that you might be.
This will protect without causing the person bound any harm.
It is not a dark spell but a very potent protective one.
You may use a different oil if you wish to use as a banishing oil.
Rosemary may be substituted for Rue.

If you can obtain hair or nail clippings from the person or a
picture, you can use it in this spell.
Fold the felt in half and cut out a rough shape of the person you
want to bind.
Make the figure large enough so that you will be able to stuff it
after you have sewn it together.
Sew the pieces of the poppet together, leaving a hole through which
you can stuff the poppet.
Fill it with cotton and tobacco, and if you have the hair or nail
clippings of the person, add those to it.
Once it is filled, sew the opening closed. If you have a picture of
the person,
staple or sew it to the front of the poppet.
Next, care the name of the person onto the black candle with the
nail and add these runes:
Thuraz, Isa, Eihwas, a dark filled in circle to represent the dark
moon,
bars like you will see in a jail, and a widdershins (anticlockwise)
spiral.
Anoint the candle and the poppet with the oil.
Cast a circle, invoke the elements, God or Goddess you are working
with.
Light the altar candles.
Light the black candle and adjust the mirror so that flame is
reflected in the glass.
Hold the poppet out in front of you and say:
"Creature of cloth thou art,
Creature of flesh and blood you be.
I name you (name of the person you are binding).
No more shall you do me harm.
No more shall you repeat false tales.
No more shall you interfere in my life, nor in the lives of my loved
ones.
By the power of the Gods and by my will, So mote it be!"
Draw an invoking pentagram over the poppet.
Now take the ribbon and begin to wrap the poppet like a mummy,
leaving no space unwrapped. Say:
"I bind your feet from bringing harm to me.
I bind your hands from reaching out to harm me.
I bind your mouth from spreading false tales to harm me.
I bind your mind from sending energy to harm me.
If you do so continue, let all negative energy be cast and reflected
directly at you!"
Tie off the ribbon and hold the poppet in front of the mirror while
you visualize all negative
energy this person has sent to you being reflected back at them.
Wrap the poppet in the black cloth and tie with another length of
ribbon. Say:
"Great Mother, I have bound this person
from harming me and my loved ones.
By the powers of three times three
By Earth and Fire, Air and Sea
I fix this spell, then set it free
Twill give no harm to return to me
As I will, So mote it be!"
Let the candle burn out while the poppet sits at its base, then take
the poppet
and the remains of the candle far from your home and bury it deep in
the ground
or toss it in the ocean and walk away without looking back.
This is a variation on a popular spell used to stop someone from
harming or bothering you.
This must be performed during a waning moon.
On a piece of parchment or recycled paper, write the name and
birthdate of the person
you are wishing "away".
Now fill an air-tight container (like a baby food jar or Tupperware
container) with water.
Add a pinch of one or more of these magical herbs: ash tree leaves,
clover, lovage, lilac, garlic.
Take the paper with the name on it and fold it three times.
Tie a black string or thread around it and drop it in the water.
Seal the container up and bury it in a safe spot in your garden,
yard or flower box.
Once the person has left you alone or no longer poses a problem to
you, open the
container and empty it to the earth. Keep the container instead of
leaving it to Mother Earth.
There are some people who can
invade your dreams, who can travel astrally to your home, or even drain
your
energy while you sleep.
If you think someone's spirit may
be visiting you or your home when you are asleep, try this:
Wrap three fresh apple seeds in a
white cloth pouch. Tie the pouch closed. Don't lose the seeds. Safety
pin the
pouch to the pillow you sleep on. Sleep with the pouch attached to your
pillow
for seven nights. At the end of the seven nights, remove the three
seeds from
the pouch and toss them out your front door. On the off chance that a
spirit is

other in-between time, and
bring with you
these items: some dry soil or dirt, garlic (fresh if you
can), a bowl of
water, some vinegar, and an iron nail.
Light white candles about you for illumination
and set the bowl of
water before you.
Look into the waters' reflection and see it's
illusions distort
reality and try to deceive the eye. Pour in some
vinegar and throw
in some dirt. Then, say this charm as you drive the
nail through the
garlic:

be night and night dissolve

blackness and pools of light

garlic and earth, their forces quell.

With this, put the garlic in the bowl and put

All Witches know that the night is a regenerative and protective
force that can be harnessed. Sea salt is sacred as it comes from deep
within the womb of our mother the ocean goddess. While her protection

frankincense for a favorable outcome to your holiday card project.
Light a yellow candle for clarity and eloquence, and light a pink
candle for harmony, friendship, and affection. Fix a cup of Earl Grey
tea: the bergamot in the tea will bring you luck and accomplishment
in your task. Place your hand over your cards and chant:

Write the best words I've ever heard.
Then write your cards, and embellish them and the envelopes. Address
and stamp them. When all the cards are done, stack them together in a

clear pure cold water, and a bowl of sea salt. If is sunny out you may
want to start the spell by going outside for a few minutes and
breathing in some fresh air. Sit in front of the candle and say:

I will feel better for having done it. The completion of the task will
be my reward."
Sprinkle the sea salt around the candle and say,

On the darkest night of the year gather three dried leaves of holly and
pulverize them into powder. On a clean, four-inch by four-inch piece of
parchment paper, write a single word in red ink that represents what
quality or trait you would like to be born within yourself along with
the newborn Yule sun. Sprinkle the holly powder into the center of the
paper and twist it closed with the holly powder inside. Light the wick
of a red candle, and from this flame light the holly filled paper on
fire. As it burns see your wish fulfilled. The spell is done.

On the parchment, write the name of the person you wish to dream of.
Fold it
in half three times and place it under the amethyst next to your bed.

is for another, visualize this person receiving the healing power
within the apple, picture them gaining strength, becoming well. Replace the
Apple into the cauldron and finish with a chant of thanks:

Choose an item that represents a habit you want to break today. Wrap
it
in a black cloth and wrap the cloth with a paper chain. Say in a
firm
voice:
I break this pattern,
Which causes me such strife.
My self is worth much more to me.
I break this chain and set me free!
Break the chain of paper. Crush the item inside the black cloth if
you
can. Bury it under a large stone. Keep the chain on your altar as a
reminder of your strength. Today is Nobel Prize Day when awards are
give for inventions or activities that promote peace and the overall
good of mankind. When we do spells we should recall we are also
inventors. Put your positive powers to work today to create good
that
will give to the world.
Best Time: Waxing Moon
Fill a cauldron half-full of water and place it on a table where you
can see comfortably into it while seated.
Light 2 purple candles and a good divination incense; a combination
of Mugwort and Wormwood work well.
Arrange the candles so their light does not shine into the water in
your eyes. Focus your attention on the bottom of the cauldron, your
hands placed lightly on either side.
Breathe gently into the water and say:
"Cauldron, reveal to me that which I seek
Great Mother, open my spirit that I may truly see."
Empty your mind as much as possible;
remain relaxed while looking deep into the cauldron waters.
The answer may come in images in the water, pictures in your mind and
strong bursts of "Knowledge".

The Roman god Terminus was the deity of land boundaries, whether
farmland or city villa. The Terminalia on February 23rd was a
celebration in his honour.
Everyone has land boundaries, whether you live on a remote farm or
in a city apartment. These boundaries need to be respected and
protected. By blessing the boundaries of your private place of
dwelling, you can strengthen your protection against intruders of
all kinds: unwanted and unwelcome visitors, stalkers, burglars,
noisy neighbours, intruding religious peddlers, and sales people.
If you can, or feel brave enough to, plan to walk the boundaries of
your property. If you can't, such as living in an apartment or in an
area where your activities would become the centre of unwelcome
attention, plan to walk through every room of your house.
Outside Your Home
If you can walk the boundaries outside, take a bowl of white
cornmeal (a favourite of Native Americans). Hold it up to the sun,
or moon if you do this at night. Ask the gods to bless it for you.
Cornmeal is a natural substance and will not pollute the ground.
Begin to the left of your driveway or entrance and move clockwise,
lightly sprinkling the cornmeal as you go.
Chant:
"Blessings and honour to all who guard my boundaries.
Blessings and thanks for your help and protection.
May my property and dwelling be safe under your care.
I offer you friendship and blessings."
When you come to the starting point, sprinkle the cornmeal once more
across the drive or entrance path. This acts as a double seal in the
most vulnerable area. If possible, build a little special place in
full view of the drive or entrance path. This will be a "home"
or "altar" for your guardians. It can be a collection of rocks that
you have picked up and admired. It can be a small patch of herbs or
a tiny grove of flowering bushes.
Inside Your Home
Prepare a chalice or glass of pure water and a small plate of salt.
If you have an altar, take these to the altar and ask for their
blessing by the gods. If not, hold them up toward the sun or moon
for blessing. Sprinkle three pinches of salt into the water and
swirl the chalice
three times clockwise. Begin near the front entrance of your
dwelling. Lightly sprinkle the water-salt mixture across the door,
moving clockwise.
Chant while sprinkling:
"Blessings and honour to all who guard my dwelling boundaries.
Blessings and thanks for your help and protection.
May my dwelling-place be safe under your care.
I offer you friendship and blessings."
Continue through each room in this manner until you have completely
encircled the house or apartment. When you are once more at the
front entrance, sprinkle the mixture across the threshold again.
Prepare some special "home" inside for your guardians. This should
be in
sight of the entrance. Such a "home" can be a bowl of tumbled
stones, a vase of dried flowers, or a statue. You can also place a
mirror facing the door to act as a boomerang for people trying to
bring in negative attitudes.
Making your own elixers is very easy and requires only stones and
water. For this elixer you will need the following:
1 Cup of Spring Water
1 pc of Red Jasper ( returns negative energy to the sender )
1 Apache Tear ( protects from direct negative energy )
1 pc of Turquoise ( protects the spirit self )
1 pc of Banded Agate ( relieves stress )
Directions:
Place the stones in 1 cup of spring water all night or at least several
hours during either the Full or New Moon.
As you add the stones to the water say aloud this prayer to invoke the
stones power and set the intent:
God & Goddess___ I call forth the energy of these stones;
Apaches Tear to protect me from negative forces;
Red Jasper to return the negative energy to it's sender, not to do them
harm but to return what is theirs;
Turquoise to protect my spirit from harm;
Banded Agate to relieve the stress such negativity brings.
"Thank the spirits of these stones for lending their power."
After it has sat, remove the stones and consecrate the water. Add 1 or
2 drops of brandy or whiskey to help hold and set the stones energy
(this step is optional) Place in a sealed container and store in a dark
place. Drink 1 tsp as needed.

up to your holiday or event that you want sunshine for.
Comfrey and Aloe Vera Soap This soap was inspired by a problem patch
of
comfrey that had
begun to overtake an entire section of my garden fifteen years ago. I
was looking for a good
use for the plant so that the plant's demise would not seem so
cruel. I
spent an entire day harvesting
what seemed like a mile of comfrey root. I carefully washed and then
dried the root on screens in the
attic of my barn. The next task was to powder the root. Then I began
experiments incorporating the
root into soap formulas. Soon it became obvious to me that comfrey
root
powder turned soap into
something splendid for sensitive skin. The green and mucilaginous
comfrey plants give the soap a
special healing, soothing quality as well as a beautiful dark violet
color. Collect and dry enough
comfrey root to produce 4 ounces of powder (about one foot-long
root).
Roots must be thoroughly
dry before pulverizing in a food processor. Oil Blends: 24 ounces
olive
oil 24 ounces coconut oil 38
ounces vegetable shortening (Crisco) Alkaline Solution: 12 ounces
sodium hydroxide (lye) 32 ounces
rain-, spring, distilled, or tap water Essential or Fragrance Oil: 2
ounces each lavender, rosemary, and
aloe vera oil Other: 4 ounces comfrey root powder
angels around you for love, protection and guidance.
Relax your body and mind before doing this spell to open your psychic
centers
You need 3 purple candles. one for body, one for spirit and one for
mind.
Incense- frankincense or sandalwood.
When you are ready, light the incense and candles then stare at the

you will, envisioning white protective light around you is one of the

ritual.. which will actually *bind* that person from causing you or
your group any harm.
you can simply bind the source of the negative energy.
Now again, the most important thing here is visualization, but by
using tools or focus points, it helps u to focus your energy on the
desired affect.
So.. you just basically write on a piece of paper what you feel the
problem to be.
Not WHO.. but WHAT
Have 2 black candles lit.
It is also good to burn a binding incense.. which sandalwood
or frankincense or basil can be used.
Even the herb basil can be used, sprinkled on the candles flame.
Then visualize the problem ceasing.
Look into the flame and see the effect that you desire already
occurring before your eyes.

Visualize your problem turning to ashes as the paper does.

On Christmas eve, you can reconnect with some of the Pagan imagery
associated with this time of year. Santa Claus is really a red-robed shaman
who works with reindeer medicine and can fly through the night. He
brings gifts by sneaking through your chimney in the middle of the night,
but his true gift is the gift of transformation, of bringing love and
cheer to a time of darkness and coldness. Honor Santa by leaving a few
cookies out on a plate tonight. If you have a chimney, leave them near
the hearth. You can also honor Santa by giving magical gifts that honor
each one of your loved ones. Gifts that matter are gifts that come from
the heart, and that bring love, joy, and healing. When you are
wrapping your gifts, intend the best for the recipient, and say a small
prayer:
Goddess, bless this gift I give. May it bring joy and love to my loved
one.

Put a compact mirror or small miror in the Bowl so the moonlight
glints off it with the silvery light of the Goddess Say:

In a violet-colored cloth with a pleasing pattern, place a purple
candle. Next to it, place a small, flat dish of salt. Light some
lavender incense and breathe deeply, then let out your breath in a
lovely tone. As you breathe and intone, light the candle. Still your
voice and draw a pentacle in the salt as you say:
By air, fire, water, earth, and spirit
Hearken my prayer, all those who hear it.
Let there be peace and let there be harmony.
Blessed be.
Wild and free.
Chant the verse nine times, and then return to your single tone.
Breathe deeply and envision being filled with this peace and
harmony.
Extinguish the candle in thankfulness.
January reminds us to hold close those we love and cherish the
things
we have. We appreciate the sturdy walls of the house more when we
hear cold winds howling outside. This ritual is not about asking for
something new, but about appreciating the little pleasures and the
security in your life. You will need a favorite book, a good number
of candles, and a lighter. Gather your family together and light the
candles. Turn off any electric lights, then say:
Hold us near,
Family dear,
As these words we say.
Candlelight,
Winter's night,
Keep the cold away.
Take turns reading aloud, choosing from your favorite passages in
the
book. Reading by candlelight creates a very cozy, magical atmosphere
and strengthens family bonds. When finished, share a hug and then
blow out the candles.
The New Moon on the Moon's day in the dark of winter is a perfect
time to access the power of the Crone. The Goddess as Crone is not
to
be feared; she is the loving grandmother, the powerful mentor, and
the wise elder. Place black and silver candles and oak leaves if
possible on your altar. Burn a flowery incense as the Crone is
feminine as well as strong. Place a statue of your favorite Crone
goddess on the altar if you wish. Offer a libation of a liqueur such
as Strega. Call quarters or cast a simple circle. Meditate on the
Crone as goddess, then say:
Lady of night,
Wise counsel and brave elder,
Touch my life,
Touch my heart.
Now you may ask the Crone for the guidance you seek. Once the
candles
and incense have burned, dispose of them, if possible,
in a receptacle near a crossroads.
For guarding health and drawing strength and courage, ginseng is
very
useful. It's not for nothing that ginseng is called the "wonder of
the
world" root. Carry the root with you, in pieces or whole, wrapped in
a
piece of red cloth and secured with gold or orange thread. Or else
keep
a ginseng pouch in your living room or on your altar. Ginseng when
burnt and used as a fumigant is potent for breaking hexes. For
purifying home interiors, place ginseng root on your altar for three
days. Then soak it in a bowl of warm water and leave it to stand
overnight. Sprinkle the water from the bowl around the rooms of your
home, or on the windows and doors. Sprinkle the water in the four
corners of the property for protection against entities. Store the
ginseng water in a spray bottle. Before you dress each morning,
lightly
spritz your body from head to foot. The ginseng spritz is especially
helpful for those engaged in healing and psychic work.
This is a spell to manifest a desire. This will be private: no one
else
will see your secret wish. Write it down on a sheet of yellow paper.
Take as much time as you need and elaborate as much as you can. Be
specific! Always consider the consequences of what you ask for: be
sure
you really want it, and that it's not an attempt to control or
manipulate another person. Then, fold the paper three times and say
with each fold:

With harm to none,

Place the folded paper in a special, secret location while you wait
for
your wish to manifest.

This spell is preferably performed during a waning moon but can be
cast as needed for cleansing during any moon phase.
Any evening after sunset,
light the end of a sagebrush stick.
Have a glass of water and a bowl
containing a shallow pool of water nearby.
Blow out the flame and blow on the ambers
of the stick to increase the smoke.
In each room of your house, blow smoke in each of the four
directions.
Blow gently upon the burning stick
as you face each wall of the room.

4 tbsp Frankincense or Myrrh
4 tbsp Black powdered Iron
4 tbsp Sea Salt
4 tbsp Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)
1 white candle
1 bottle with a cork or lid Mortar
Pestle Parchment Paper
Black Ink or black ballpoint pen
Black thread
Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a
piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black
ink:
I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.
So mote it be!
Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place
it
in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients. Then take the
white
candle and while turning the bottle counterclockwise, drip the wax over
the
cork to seal it. Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it
will not
be disturbed and no animals or people will dig it up. This spell is
like a
genie in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the
spell is
lost.

Cast the circle, Invoke the God and Goddess. Statement of intent :
"On this night, I invoke the powers of fire to protect me from all that
would harm me, whether physically, mentally, emotionally or
spiritually."
Start at the south. Light the candle, shouting:

Imagine the flame creating a wall of protection on that side of you.
Move
West, light the candle and shout:
"Nothing from the West can harm me!"
Again, with each candle you light, imagine the wall around you growing
in
power and intensity North, light the candle and shout:

East, light the candle, shouting:

Hold up the Southern candle to the sky, shouting:

Place it back on the earth, shouting:

Sit in the center of the circle, watching the candles burn. Know that

fires are burning away all evil and harm that comes your way. Meditate

the flames and feel their power forming a shield around you - a shield
you
can erect anytime you feel threatened. Have Cakes and ale (eating bread

drinking wine or juice to restore energies spent during ritual) Release
the

Since the earliest spell bottles were created for protection, it seems
fitting to begin with one made for this purpose. Ideally, such a bottle
will
be walled up in a new home under construction, or placed under the
floorboards. If this is impossible, simply place it in a position of
importance somewhere in the home.
Items needed:
1 glass jar with cork stopper or lid (a small canning jar is fine)
1/2 to 1 cup salt (depending on size of the jar)
3 cloves garlic
9 bay leaves
7 TBS dried basil
4 TBS dill seeds
1 TBS sage
1 TBS anise
1 TBS black pepper
1 TBS fennel
1 bowl
In the morning, ideally on a bright and sunny day, assemble all items.
Place the salt into the bowl and say:
"Salt that protects, protect my home and all within it."
Add the cloves of garlic to the bowl and say:
"Garlic that protects, protect my home and all within it."
Crumble the bay leaves, place in the bowl and say:
"Bay that protects, protect my home and all within it."
Add the basil and say:

Add dill and say:

Add the sage and say:

Add the anise and say:

Mix together the herbs and the salt with your hands. Through the
movement of
your hands and fingers, lend energy to the potent protective items.
Visualize your home as a shining, safe, guarded, secure place of
sanctuary.
Pour the mixture into the jar. Seal tightly and place in your home with
the
following words:
"Salt and herbs, nine times nine
Guard now this home of mine.
It is done."
Amulet Protection Spell
Place a jewel, that you regularly carry on you, in a cup of spring
water a
day before the full moon. The following day, on the evening of full
moon,
stir the water three times with your finger in a clockwise motion. Take
the
cup in your hands and in a clockwise, stirring motion, move the cup in
a
clockwise, circular, stirring motion three times. Then, repeat these
words
aloud:
"Oh Light of the Moon,
Wrap me
Protect Me
Keep me from harm."
Raise the cup towards the sky and drink the water. Remove the jewel
from the
cup. You must carry it on your person to the next full moon in order to
ensure your protection. Repeat this ritual every month to benefit from
its
influence.
Trace a pentagram over the object that you wish to protect while
saying:
"With this pentagram
Protection I lay
To guard this object
Both night and day
And for him who should no touch
May his body shiver and quake
I now invoke the law of three
This is my will, so mote it be!"
Spell to Ward off Psychic Vampires
This is a fairly straight forward spell to rid yourself of psychic
vampires
(you'll know if you've got one, trust me!)
You will need on your altar :
2 white candles
Sea salt in warm water in a cauldron or bowl
Incense (frankincense or myrrh are good)
Your favorite oil.
Place the candles at the back of the altar, one on the right to
represent
the God, one on the left for the Goddess. Place the salt water in the
centre
and the incense at the front.
Anoint each item with the oil and say :
"I ward off negativity in my home, work and everyday life.
No evil or negativity shall enter here."
Picture a white light around you and as it increases to full intensity,
picture it surrounding your home and work place Now say :
"Psychic vampires in the night
Psychic vampires who destroy my life
Destroy no more of what i achieve
Destroy no more of what i receive
Negativity is not welcome
Evil is not welcome
In me, around me or the people I love."
Repeat this 3 times, then allow the incense and candles to burn
themselves
out.
One week prior to ovulation, Mom-to-be should increase her consumption
of
citus/acidic foods (tomatoes, oranges, lemons, etc), nuts and leafy
greens
like kale or spinach. Avoid greasy or oily meats (sausages, pepperoni,
pork)
If you aren't already, consider taking a folic acid supplement.
The day before your most fertile day, the actual day, and the day after
place 3 new candles of equal size (1 blue, 1 pink, 1 white) near the
bed. As
you (Dad-to-be) light the blue candle, repeat the following:
"Divine Father, We call thee El, Priapus, Ing, Min and Cernunnos
You whose sheltering arms shield and comfort your young
Whose power is seen in the mighty river, the nourishing Sun

As you (Mom-to-be) light the pink candle, repeat the following:
"Divine Mother, We call thee Inanna, Asherah, Freya, Vesta and Hathor
You who bears, nurtures and defends your young against all dangers
Whose power is seen in the fertile fields, the moonlit breezes
Bless this union of woman and mate"
Together, you both should light the third candle and both repeat the
following.
"Lord and Lady. Mother and Father. Life Divine.
As two are made one, we seek your sacred blessing
Gift us with a healthy child
One who embodies the best of us both."
Imagine a warm light filling the room as you make love. Let the candles
burn
until they go out on their own. Repeat with new candles for each of the
remaining nights.
During your most fertile time (usually 2 days before, during and after
ovulation), light 9 white candles in your bedroom. Place them around
your
bed. Sit or stand nude with your partner facing the North and repeat
the
following:
"With one mind, we call to thee.
With one heart, we long for thee
Childe of Earth, Wind, Fire & Sea,
In to our lives, we welcome thee"
Turn to the East, then South, then West, repeating this incantation
each
time you do so. Proceed as nature requires. Repeat this spell each of
the 5
nights before intercourse.
Tools: a besom or decorative broom - plain, or decorated with dried
or silk flowers to match your decor or the current season; a nail or
hook to put on a door to hold the besom Hang the besom or broom on
the back of the door and say:
"As you hang upon my door,
Remember what a door is for -
Letting in and keeping out
Is what a door is all about.
As we travel on our rounds,
Help us return safely to our grounds.

Make the sign of the banishing pentagram on the inside of the door,

New Beginnings
You will need:
One packet of seeds
One large pot
Potting soil
One white candle
Light the candle while envisioning all your blocks of mental bondage melting away.
Everything that kept you from pursuing your dreams is now vanishing. Each new day will bring you closer to your goals.
Place your soil in the pot, Count out thirty-one seeds, one for each day in the month. Plant them one at a time while saying something like what I have written below. Each week light a candle and water your new plants saying your words for reaffirming.

For this spell to find a lost cat or other small pet, you’ll need the assistance of a tree, rock, or other outdoor entity—preferably one in your yard or very near your home. Take one of your cat’s favorite toys and some cat food to the tree. Tell the tree about your pet and that you are concerned because of how long he or she has been missing. Ask the tree if it will help you by providing a beacon for your cat to follow to get home. Leave the cat food near the tree. If a small rock gets your attention, bring it and the cat toy into the house. Keep them near the door. Every time you pass the toy, thank the tree for its help in providing a beacon for your pet.

This is a truly special day for Wiccans and some Witches. It is
Imbolc, a high holiday that honors the triple goddess Brigit and one
of the eight sabbats that mark the turning of the wheel of the year.
Ground-hog day is also observed today. This holiday incorporates the
seasonal divination of the more ancient Imbolc, which uses the
movement of a snake rather than the shadow of a ground-hog to divine
how much longer winter will remain. It is the beginning of the Storm
Moon and also the time of the Feast of Oya, the orisha of weather
and
changes. To the Iroquois people, it is Midwinter Ceremony, a time to
bless the fields, tell your dreams, and pay tribute to your
ancestors. Today is also the birthday of Marie Laveau II, New
Orleans' Voodoo Queen and diviner extraordinaire. At bedtime now,
light a braid of sweet grass. Extinguish the flame but allow the
braid to smolder. Wave the braid lovingly and with great care around
your bedroom, motioning with your hand to encourage the smoke to
drift in a snake-like stream over your bed and pillow. Dip the braid
in springwater, making absolutely sure no flame remains. Then put
the
braid away. Pour lavender water in a large bowl. Put your favorite
seashell inside the bowl of water. As you sleep, the bowl will act
as
a conduit for messages from the ancestors, nature spirits, and the
great beyond. Place this under your bed or on your bed table.
Replenish the water as needed over a period of two weeks. Write down
your dreams in a journal. Read over them frequently. Messages
revealed in the darkness of winter have special meaning. Work each
day to lift the shroud of darkness so you can glimpse new growth and
the coming light of spring. Understanding the mysteries of winter is
at the heart of Imbolc and its celebrations.

With the coming of February comes the Sun. It is growing stronger
with each day. We also now honor the Irish goddess Brigid who holds
the eternal flame of inspiration, transformation, and personal
sovereignty. To ignite Brigid's eternal flame within yourself, you
will need a white candle, preferably a large one with a firm
foundation. You'll also need matches and an item that reminds you of
a specific goal you want to achieve in the coming spring and summer.
Sit on a chair or on the floor, placing the unlit candle in front of
you. Take time to center yourself, focusing on connecting with
Brigid's powers, while you also visualize her fire rising within you.
When you are ready, light the candle and say:
Blessed Brigid of the golden flame,
Hear me as I call your name;
I invoke your spirit to burn in me,
All I will, precious Lady, so it must be.
Keep your eyes open and gaze into the hazy yellow color of the
flame's aura.(If you're sitting too close to the candle, gazing into
the flame itself can harm your eyes.) Visualize the powers of
inspiration, transformation, and personal sovereignty burning within
you. When you feel you've been successful, offer your thanks to
Brigid and extinguish the candle. Keep it covered and in a safe place
so you can enact this spell whenever you feel you need the power of
Brigid in your life.

Perform this spell during a Waxing Moon.
Put some sage in your incense burner (censer). Walk
around your home with the censer. Circle your home
three times (always clockwise), then in each room of
the house. Pay special attention to doors and windows
and let the the smoke filter into the crevices and
openings.
As you walk, recite a prayer you improvise, or write
one ahead of time. Say or write what you feel. This
has to come from deep inside you. It does not have to
rhyme, nor be a great piece of literature.
An example would be
I invoke the Goddess of Protection,
I invoke my ancestor's spirits.
Three times around, three times about
The world within, the world without.
In home and possessions, may good spirits abound
Evil and problems will not stay around.
Ring the bell each time a circle is completed. When
you are finished inside and out, place the incense in
the doorway. Open all doors for a few minutes and let
the smoke drift through your home, washing it clean.
Take equal parts of lavender, violet, and rosemary.
Empower them and Then boil them in a pot with about a quart of water
over medium heat.
When the water is richly colored and the herbs are scenting your
kitchen, drain
The water off into a jar. A plain coffee filter works great for this.
Place the jar in sunlight for an entire day to absorb the radiant
energies of the sun.
You can do this on a Wednesday to add the healing powers of mercury
to the spell*
Occasionally look at the jar and add your own energies to it.
Just before sundown fetch the jar and hold it firmly between your
hands Just below your naval.
Feel your desire to be well filling the jar and with your minds eye
see it glowing brightly as the sun.
Chant these words until you have filled the jar with as much energy
as it will hold.

Witch's healing candle spell
To help speed a recovery from illness, write the sick person's name
upon a white human-shaped candle of the appropriate gender.
As you anoint it with three drops of myrrh or mint oil, visualize
healing energy in the form of white light flowing from your hands
into the candle and say:

A Japanese Spell for Luck
Japanese folklore says that placing pieces of bamboo around the
threshold of your door attracts good luck to your home. In the U.S.,
planting cabbage in your garden is said to achieve the same thing. If
you cannot find bamboo, place some canned bamboo shoots (available at
the supermarket) and some fresh cabbage leaves in the ground instead.
This will not hurt the soil and will encourage the same type of
energy.

A Spell To Help You Like Yourself
You need a pale pink candle and a small
piece of rose quartz for this.
The spell can be done at any time in the
moon's cycle.
Hold the candle in your hands and imagine
that you are enfolded in a feeling of love
and well being. This may be difficult if
you are feeling low, and if this is the case
try just imagining surrounding yourself with
soft, warm pink light.
Put the candle in a holder in a safe place
away from draughts, hanging draperies or
clothing, children or animals. Place the
piece of rose quartz against the base of
the candle, then light then candle and let
it burn right down. When the candle is
completely burned down, scrape any wax off
the rose quartz and keep it with you day
and night for a while. You might like to
buy or make a small bag, such as a medicine
pouch, to carry it in.
3 X 3 Spell
To get rid of physical, emotional, or spiritual negativity, and to
bring
forth
balance in your life, try the Three Times Three spell.
This spell is best performed outdoors during the 3rd quarter of the
moon.
You will need one black candle, a small spool of cotton twine, a small
amount
of
lamp oil, a deep dish to contain the candle, sand to fill the dish, and
a
sharp
knife or Witch's athame.
Using the knife/athame, inscribe the name of the person, or word
symbolizing
the
negative situation you are experiencing, near the bottom of the candle.
Place the candle between your palms and breathe on the candle three
times.
With
each breath, imagine you are exhaling the negativity you have received
onto
the
candle.
Take the cotton twine, and tie it around the base of the candle so that
at
least
two feet of twine hangs from the knot. Begin tightly coiling the twine
around
the candle in a counter-clockwise direction. While doing so visualize a
giant,
protective, mirrored egg surrounding you and repeatedly chant:
"Three time three, as ye have sown
Is thine to reap, thy harvest grown.
For best, for worst, for praise or chide,
The Gods alone your fate decide!"
Continue wrapping the candle with the twine until you have spiraled to
the
top,
covering every bit of candle. Loop the twine, trying it in a knot to
one of
the
coils at the top near the wick.
Next, take the oil and liberally smear the twine and candle with

every
inch of the entwined candle.
Pour the sand into the dish and then wedge the candle into the sand so
that
it
stands erect, then light it on fire.
Watch as the candle melts away, knowing that the magical attack has
been
deflected.
Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical
harm, or hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your
security.
You will need:
4 tbsp Frankincense or Myrrh
4 tbsp Black powdered Iron
4 tbsp Sea Salt
4 tbsp Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)
1 white candle
1 bottle with a cork or lid
Mortar and pestle
Parchment Paper
Black Ink or black ballpoint pen
Black thread
Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut
a piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with
black ink:
I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.
So mote it be!
Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and
place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients.
Then take the white candle and while turning the bottle
counterclockwise, drip the wax over the cork to seal it. Last,
secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed
and no animals or people will dig it up. This spell is like a genie
in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the spell
is lost.

Candle Spell Against Psychic Attack

Imagine a blue ball of energy inside the candles. Caress the candles as

IRISH HEALILNG WATERS SPELL:
Firstly, place a jar in sunlight for a whole day so it can absorb the
energies from the Sun. This spell should be done just before Sundown
and
where possible, on a Wednesday; (Mercury will boost the healing power
of this spell).
You will need Violet, Lavender and Rosemary which place together into a
pot and boil gently in a quart of water approximately. You do this
until you can smell the scent of the herbsfilling up the room
(Kitchen)
and when you reach this point, drain the water into your jar. If you
have
little bits floating around in the water then simply use a
coffeefilter and this will alleviate this problem.
As Sundown approaches, take the jar full of the scented water and hold
firmly with both hands. Place the jar around the middle of your

picture a
bright glowing colour (such as the sun) and imagine that you are
filling
the jar with your illness or any negativity. Chant this spell until

Thanks to the greeting card industry, we have a day for just about
everyone except plumbers and brain surgeons. In June, we set aside a
Sunday to be Dad's special day, during which he can eat junk foods

A Spell Against Night Terrors
This spell is good for relieving night terrors and can be performed at any time, day or night.
You will need:
- Three green leaves (any variety)
- Lavender oil
- An empty nutshell (any variety will work)
- A small, smooth stone
- A candle (any color, but white or natural beeswax is best)
- A 7 x 7 square of white fabric
- A seven-inch length of twine
Begin by gathering three leaves from any plant, bush, or tree. Lay the leaves on a flat surface to form a triangle.
In the center of the triangle of leaves, place the lighted candle,
On one leaf, place a few drops of Lavender oil, on another, the stone and on the last leaf, place the nutshell.
Wrap the leaves, stone, and nutshell in the white cloth and tie it with the twine.
Extinguish the candle.
Place the packet under your mattress or near your bed within three feet of your head for protection against night terrors

Note: This spell requires practice to receive the full benefits, as it really needs to be worked with very little thought of the individual steps.
You will need:
- A single candle (any color, but white or natural beeswax is best)
- A bowl of fresh rainwater
- Seven small, smooth stones
Sit at a table in a darkened room, preferably near midnight the room should be comfortable not too cold or too warm. Light the candle and place it approximately an arm's length away. Place the bowl of water on the table in front of you. Place the seven stones in a circle around the bowl.
Speak the following words aloud:
Stones of power, circle round,
Bring your power from the ground,
Speak to me that I might know,
Where earth's waters ebb and flow,
Where the heavens cast their eyes,
Where the raven roosts and flies.
Clasp all seven stones firmly in your right hand, close your eyes, and allow your mind to wander freely. Relax, clear all thoughts, and allow no worries to enter your mind. Imagine that you are floating freely. Ignore your surroundings and bodily senses. Once you have cleared your mind, slowly begin to focus on the stones in your hand. Allow your thoughts to begin channeling through the stones. Imagine your thoughts spreading through the universe. Imagine your mind traveling through the stone to the open spaces of the universe and searching searching for communications allowing contact and being warmly receptive. When you feel relaxed and receptive and you are comfortable with where your mind is, open your eyes and gently drop the stones into the bowl of water.
Dip the index finger of your right hand into the water and with your moistened finger, trace a circle, seven times, one over the other, on your forehead. Lean over the bowl of water and allow your mind to remain connected, through the stones, with the universe. Allow the messages to be received.
When you have finished, extinguish the candle.
A Spell To Ease Emotional Pain

Dried rose petals
Tablespoon of St johns Wort herb
Tablespoon of lavender herb
White silk pouch
Half a yard/meter of white ribbon.
Place the dried red roses, St Jonhs

This is a spell which links with any emotionla matter: love,
friendship, marriage, etc. You must obtain a picture of the person you
wish to help. lay this photo on the pentacle.
fill your cauldron up with water and bless it.
present the picture to the 4 directions in your circle and declare the
object of the rite. go back to the alter & hold the phot so that it
is reflected in the water of the cauldron and say
"by astral light; by moon-beams bright,
I charge the water clear
to turn the tide for (name)

a mirrored surface, smooth as glass
will thus describe your days

Look at the face in the water and see the person in whatever happy or
loving conditions you want for them. Build the appropiate scenery or
people round them and hold that image for at least 10 minutes.

Reiving
The act of reiving is to psychically and physically "clear" a place of
unwanted entities. Reiving can be accompanied by banishing, or simply
used to clear out the "psychic clutter" of past inhabitants of a house.
You will need consecrated water, incense (and censer), your athame, and
a candle for each room. A vacuum is also handy. It is best to work
alone or with a partner, but not while the current occupants are home,
that is, ask the "owners" to leave while you perform the cleansing.
Use the vacuum to clean up the "psychic grime" from the floor, as this
is where it tends to go. The most important thing is to vacuum with
intent; that is with the idea of cleaning up all the muck in mind the
whole time. Then set up a candle in each room, light it, and close the
doors, if there be any. Start the charcoal, or whatever medium used to burn
the incense, and take a shower "with the intent of purification" .
Walk around each room with your dagger, incense, then the water,
embracing, rather than 'enclosing', the room. As you walk around with each,
hold the instrument up to the four quarters/directions , and call on
their powers of protection and harmony. After you have done this in a room
, extinguish the candle with your fingers</B>, and leave the door
open.
When you are finished, take your things and leave without speaking to
anyone.
Banishing
Banishing is the act of getting rid of a "thing".
Before you even begin the banishing, the inhabitants must understand
that they are not to fight, or engage in any type of dispute in the home
for ONE FULL CYCLE OF THE MOON after your work. To pollute the space
with bitter or hateful emotions could have been the cause of the entity
in the first place, and bringing those feeling back in would one tarnish
the habitat again. "Things" are attracted to strong emotions just as
much as they are to psychic activity. Keep this in mind in all of your
magical workings, and take proper measures to protect yourself.
Banishing is "irrespective" , the "getting rid of" part means not only
energies, but it extends to living persons. Banishing requires a full
reiving of the property, encirclement of its boundaries, and placing
"pentagramic seals" in the proper places.
Before you go near the place to banish, you must firstly "seal off" all
orifices, the psychic ones as well as the actual, on your body. A man
has 12, a woman 13. These include:
* the eyes
* nostrils
* ears
* mouth
* nipples
* belly button (umbilicus)
* anus
These are 11 which both men and women possess. For men the penis makes
12, and for women, the vagina, and urethra make 13.
Secondly, you must bring your boline, for self-defense.
The process is the same as reiving, only you seal each portal/doorway
of the house with a banishing pentagram of the Earth.
Keep the intent of banishing foremost in your mind at all times,
whether you use words or not.
Work form the center of the house to the outer perimeters of the
property. Finish your banishing by encircling the entire property and lay
seals on the ground at all entrances and exits.
Warding
Warding is the keeping out of unwanted influences.
Warding is a bit trickier than reiving or banishing, and should not be
attempted by beginners.
You will had to have collected certain talismans, such as bird
feathers, bones, and skulls, spiders' webs, "bits" of dead animals, certain
stone and wood entities, specific shells, and symbolic amulets. These
things will "call to you", and you will feel the need to collect them.
These things are like familiars, except their powers lie dormant until they
are formed as wards. You will also need sealing wax.
Before you ward, reive, as you would were you about to perform a
banishing. Choose which "talisman" you will require to create the ward.
"A ward is an intelligent, elemental entity". A ward is to return to
you, always!, as it is to be left to perform its duty for a limited time
(about one [1] lunar month). No one is to be told of you work, as the
ward must remain undisturbed.
Bless and consecrate everything that is to make up the ward (keep it
simple, you don't need much). Wrap the bits in cloth, and seal the
opening with the sealing wax. The ward will remain active until YOU break the
seal.
You also need a small bit of meat to bury on the property. The ward
will remain active while he meat decomposes, as this is to 'feed' the ward
as it works.
Make sure your scent is on the meat and the package/ward. Rubbing them
with your hands before you leave them will do the trick.
Create the ward beforehand at home, within a cast circle. On the night
of the warding, "cleanse with intent of purification, and seal your
orifices with consecrated water, as well as salt". You will also need a
hand trowel or a small shovel.
Go once around the property/area casting a circle of protection. Repeat
the encircling with consecrated water, and with salt. (This means
going around three times).
Focus and intent are key. Be absolutely clear about what you want to
keep out!
Summon the entity, that is the powers of the things within the ward, to
come into the area of protection. Ly De Angeles state "These entities,
once released, are never small, I warn you, but they are lovely; they
are your creatures!"
After summoning, bury the ward very well, and very secretively, putting
a rock over the spot to prevent it being dug up by passing animals.
Bury its food (the meat) close by, and place a rock over this as well.
Cut a "zone" in the circle with your athame to allow those who are "in
alliance" with the person who you are warding for, but seal it with the
banishing pentagram of Earth.
Once finished, leave. Tell the person you are assisting that you have
set up protections for a certain duration only, and that you will return
when time is up to remove them. They are to understand and agree with
this condition. They must also do whatever they have to to "prevent
further dysfunction" .
When the allotted time is up, return to the site and dig up the ward,
summoning the entity back to you. Return home, break the seal and put
the bits and pieces back into the usual spots, where they will remain
dormant, which is their natural state.
If the person you are assisting is still in danger after the ward is
removed, fith-fath the aggressor if you still want to be involved in this
persons problems.
Venus Mirror Spell
To
be done on Friday (Venus' day) at 7:00. Best done on a Waxing moon, or
when the sun or moon is in Libra or Taurus.
Draw
a romantic bath for one. Decorate your bathroom with pale green candles
and a single red rose. Run the bath as hot as you can comfortably stand
it. Add to the bath water a mixture of myrtle, and clover oil to honor
Venus.
Add
one cup of sugar for sweetness, one cup of pink wine for heady
intoxication, and a dash of sandalwood perfume. Enjoy your bath with a
special facial and relax.
After you have
bathed and washed off the facial, dry your
hair, and give the old hundred
strokes hair-brushing routine a magical twist.
Let your hair hang down before you.
Sweep a natural boar-bristle brush from your scalp to the ends of your
hair.
Have
your hand follow the brush as it works its
way through.
Focus your attention on your hand, and imagine that you are
impregnating
your hair with power.
Think, feel, and exude magnetic attraction to your hair with every
stroke.
Now, make yourself
comfortable and take several deep, relaxing
breaths.
Surround yourself with vibrant green light and picture yourself
beautiful.
Really get into the image. This is who you are-your magickal self-and
if you can visualize it, you can be it.
Note what you might do to make the astral
you a reality and affirm to do it.
Finally get dressed up in your best clothes, wear emerald, turquoise
jewelry (Venus
stones) for extra luck in love.
Consecration of a new Book of Shadows
Materials: 4 votive candles, 1 taper candle, a chalice with salt-water,
a
bowl of sand, a cone of sandalwood incense, matches.
Place the object in the middle of your alter. Create a Pentacle around
it
with the corresponding votive candles, Yellow-East-Air, Red-South-Fire,
Blue-West-Water, Green-North-Earth. Then at the top of the Pentacle
place
on taper candle of Purple or Black-Akasha-Spirit. Off to the right
center
of alter place the bowl of sand, the chalice, and the incense.
Light the taper candle saying:
"I place before you my Book of Shadows and
ask the elements to assist my consecration."
Remove the taper candle from its holder and light the green votive,
from
its flame, saying,
"I consecrate with the element of Earth."
Place the bowl of sand atop your BOS.
Light the blue votive, saying,
"I consecrate thee with the element of water."
With your fingers sprinkle a little salt-water on the BOS, and then
add some to the bowl of sand.
Light the red votive, saying,
"I consecrate thee with the element of fire."
Wave the flame of the taper candle close to the BOS, but not close
enough to burn it.
Light the yellow votive, saying,
"I consecrate thee with the element of air."
Place the cone of sandalwood incense in the middle of the sand, and
light it.
Place the taper candle back in its holder. With your right hand pick
up the
bowl now containing the elements. Now with your left hand pick up the
BOS.
Blow out the flame on the incense, (it should burn sufficiently now),
and
wave the BOS over the bowl, making sure that it passes through the
incense
smoke, saying,
"Consecrate and bless this Book of Shadows, that it may contain my
personal
records, be my personal reference, and exude my personal devotion."
Place the BOS back in the center of the candle created Pentacle. Place
the
bowl back on top of it, saying,
"By the powers of Earth, Sky, Star, and Sea, This is my will, So mote
it be!"
You may either end the ritual by allowing the candles to burn until the
incense goes out, and then snuffing the candles, or you may want to go
forward with your Dedication of your BOS. Remember, rituals should be
as
personal as possible.

6. Starting in the East sprinkle the sacred salt water
around the circle's perimeter.
7. Repeat w/ incense.
8. Return to the altar & say:
"This circle is now open! Golden divinity blessed be!"
B. Meditating - Connecting
1.Sit or kneel before your altar (do not cross legs or arms)
2. Breathe in & out 13 times to clear your system
3. If you have Deities or symbols focus on them now
C. Athame Dedication
1. Kneeling before the altar & say:
"This night is crackling with anticipation! I have waited patiently

Universe!"
2.Sprinkle the holy water on both sides of the athame & say:
"Bring purity of this tool so that I may use it in my rites"
3. Hold your athame over the incense & say:
"Bring clean energy to initiate the spiritual changes that abound"
4. Now stand up & hold your athame w/ left hand overhead & say:
"The left now meets with the right, intuitive waters with no end in
sight.
Feel the blade & know its use, understand my intentions & then induce.
Through abstract wisdom & depth of emotion see that my energies are
not lost
in the ocean."
5. Hold athame w/ right hand overhead & say:
"The right now meets with the left, consciously aware of every
process. See
the blade & know its use, understand my intentions & then induce.
Through
mental clarity & applied skill see that my energies correspond with my

6. Now invoke the power of elemental Air. Stand facing East & draw a
lare blue pentagram with your athame starting on the right side &
tracing it
to the left point & so forth then finishing where you started. Inside
of the
pentagram draw the symbol of Aquarius, this should be visualized as
yellow.
Hold the entire image until you feel the energy expanding within the
circle.
Now place your athame inside of the pentagram to introduce it to its
own element!
7. Take the athame & return it to your altar.
8. Raise energy in your own style; dancing, chanting, spinning,
drumming, etc..
9. At the moment of climax take up your athame w/ both hands & release
the energy.

Let it soak for nine minutes, and then sprinkle the water

TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS TO A BUSINESS OR VISITORS TO A HOME
Make a fine powder out of some basil leaves and sprinkle
them around the main entrance to the home or place of
business. It is believed that only good and friendly
people will enter, since it supposedly repels those who
intend harm toward the workers of a business or the
occupants of a home.
SPELL TO RID ONESELF OF A BOTHERSOME SPIRIT
Say "What is dark be filled with light, remove this spirit
from my sight."Before starting place your hand before you,
and start the flow of power out of your hand and then say
the words, letting the envisioned blue-white light from
your power hand fill the room or house or any other place
that you might be.
TO PROTECT YOUR HOUSE
You need:
A whole head of Garlic 3 large 'iron' nails
9 pieces of White Thread (7 inches long each)
6 pieces each of Black Thread and Red Thread
(7 inches long each)
Wax One White Egg Water and Wine
Twist 3 white, 2 red and 2 black threads together,
melt a little wax and dip the threads so that it forms a
stiff twine/wick like feel. Do this two more times so you
have 3 waxed braids.
Place the nails in a fire until they are red hot, while still
hot (you can let them cool a little bit) wrap each nail with
a garlic leaf.
Then wind one of the waxed threads around each leave covered
nail. In a dish or bowl make a triangle with the nails and
place it in a safe place (or your altar).
Place the egg in the triangle so it stands up, sprinkle with
wine and water everyday.
PEACEFUL HOME
This spell is very good if there is a lot of turmoil or stress
in the household.
Do the following spell, and while doing so, remember to focus
on your intent for a peaceful household. Sew a small pouch of
lavender cloth. Place a small trinket in the pouch for each
member of your household. Add to this a pinch each of lavender,
rose and chamomile, before placing each pinch in the pouch,
remember to hold it for a moment and REALLY focus, finally,
add a small amethyst. Now, anoint a lavender or pink candle
with peace oil and then light it. Sit in front of the candle
and hold the pouch in your hands and whisper the following
chant over it softly 3 times:
Blessed Goddess, most gentle one,
calm my home for me.
Relieve all tension, send it far,
so from stress we shall be free.
Touch my family with peace and calm,
and the sweetest softest bliss,
bless my home, Great Gentle Goddess,
with your calming kiss.
Set the pouch with the candle. Allow the candle to burn down
completely. Hang the pouch in your home, preferably in the
room where everyone gathers the most. Whenever tension seems
to build, repeat the above chant 3 times and envision peace
and tranquility radiating from the pouch and The Goddess.
BLESSING A NEW HOME, HOME CLEANSING
Home-cleansing methods are of great importance in African-
American hoodoo folk-magic. Here is a simple procedure for
blessing a new home and ridding a house of any unwanted
spiritual influences.
Wash down the wood work and floors with Chinese Wash (or
Van Van Oil in water) from back to front and out the front
door and throw the remaining wash water out the front door
or in the front yard.
If there is no front yard, carry some of the wash water to
the nearest street intersection or crossroads
and throw it to the East.
Then use a brand new broom to sweep the house from back to
front and out the front door.
Some folks also like to sprinkle Van Van Powder at the front
threshold and sweep that away from the house.
After cleaning as above, put down pinches of salt in the
corners of each room or, if you are in a hurry, four pinches
of salt at the four outside corners of the house.
TO HONOR YOUR HOUSEHOLD SPIRITS
When presenting your house spirits with offerings of
incense, candles or what not you can say this little chant:

Incense:
1 tablespoon pine needles 1 tablespoon juniper
1 tablespoon cedar
Make sure all ingredients are completely dry.
Grind ingredients together and burn on self-igniting
charcoal.

HOME PURIFICATION
When you feel negativity building up in your home, or the
occupants are not getting along:
Use Sandalwood, Dragons blood or (if you can stand the smell)
Patchouli Incense.
Make certain that you carry your censer or a stick of
incense into each room. Use this in conjunction with a
chant and meditation.
It's also a good idea to sprinkle sea or kosher salt on the
carpet, then vacuum it up immediately after the ritual.
THE BROOM PURIFICATION
Before dawn, take a branch from any tree.
Thank the tree for its gift and leave a coin or
semi-precious stone at its base in payment.
Next, obtain several brightly colored flowers on long
stalks. Tie these flowers to the branch to fashion a sort
of broom, then sweep the floor in every room of the house,
visualizing the flowers of the broom absorbing negativity
and "evil" as you work. Then, still before sunrise, leave
the broom at the crossroads. Traditionally this ritual is
repeated at the first of each month.
SPELL TO LOCK/HOLD DOORS SHUT
You need to start by meditating before hand on the effect
of the spell for at least 15 minutes.
Then, to cast, you sprinkle holy water mixed with salt
and powdered iron, in front of the door
that you want to lock. Then place your hands on the door
and concentrate your energies
going down your right arm, going through the door and back
into your left arm.
Then you start chanting:
Portal be mine,
Become one with my mind,
I hold thee fast, to make to last,
open you not, as I weave the knot,
of my power from within.
Keep chanting this as you build up power, and imagine the
circle of energy (right arm through door back into left arm)
getting faster and faster.
Then upon release, visualize a green field of energy coming
up in front of the door.
TO BAR NEGATIVE ENTRY
1 oz. (25 grams) Ground Cumin 1 lb. (500 grams) Sea Salt
Mix well. Start at the end of the driveway, beginning to
the East, and go completely around the property, strewing
along the edges of the property.
Be sure you complete the circle and rejoin where you started.

Sprinkle salt in their shoes and imagine them outside your
home.
AGAINST ENEMIES OR EVIL
Hang an ash - bough over your door. Fill your pockets with
iron nails. Always carry mullein - leaf. But say these words

Make a magical tea from any of the following herbs and
then sprinkle some of it in the corners and doorways of
your home to purify, defeat all wicked conjuring, and
prevent evil forces from entering:

tormentil poke root (which can also be added to your bath
or cleaning water)
TO RID A ROOM OF EVIL
Light a cinnamon incense stick in the center of the room
and walk to the north east corner or wall. Say:
"Earth and air, purify to good, blow away evil."
Draw a pentagram of smoke and use the incense stick to stab
through the center.
Walk to the southeast corner of the room and say:
"Air and fire, blow away evil, burn away pain."
Repeat the pentagram and stab the center, then walk to the
southwest part of the room. Say:
"Fire and water, burn away pain, wash away fear."
Repeat pentagram and stab. Walk to the northwest part of
the room and say:
"Water and earth, wash away fear, bury all negativity,
purify to good."
Repeat pentagram and stab. Walk to the center of the room.
Point incense stick to the sky and say:
"As Above..."
Now drop an ash from the incense and say: "So Below"

1 glass bottle or jar with cap mixing bowl funnel (you can
make one with a rolled up piece of paper)

Pour the nine selected herbs into the mixing bowl one by one.
As you pour each one in say
these words (replace the blank with the name of the herb):
"________ that protects, protect my home and all within."
Once all of the herbs have been added to the bowl, mix them
with your hands.
Visualize you home being safe and secure as you mix.
Cap the bottle or jar and bury it outside, in front of your
front step.
If you live in an apartment or other place that would
prevent you from doing this, place the jar some where out of
view but still near your doorway.
TO GET AN APARTMENT / HOUSE WITH WHAT YOU WANT

Time: Waxing Moon or Full Moon, I actually did the spell
on a couple different days.
Sunday seemed to be the best though.
Find ads in the newspaper or rental books with what you
are looking for.
Place the ads on your altar. Place a green and gold candle
with the ads.
I used green and gold because green is for the earth and
I designate the element earth with home, gold was for the
money needed to have a down payment for the place and for
success.
Light the candles and an incense made of cinnamon and
patchouli. Say the following:
Element of Fire, The light that you give,
Illuminate for me, The place where I'll live.
Let the candles burn out. When you look at places you want
to live look for the brightest one!
PROTECTION FROM NEGATIVE ENERGIES AND NEGATIVE FEELINGS
Before you continue with any other spells, you must ensure
that you are in a negative free zone, and this does not only
include the circle, but all other parts of your residence.
You must be cleansed spiritually and then rid all negative
energies.
To start, a simple thing to do is as follows:
Charge a pewter dragon's claw which holds a crystal or glass
ball with your personal energies after meditating.
Place it above an entrance door into your house or apartment.
By doing this, it will ensure that no more negative energies
can enter your house whether cast, sent or roaming.
While burning the incense that best assists your concentration
and energy channeling
Then visualize a triple circle of purplish light around your
body while chanting:

Mix the mugwort and angelica in equal parts, add to it the
3 hairs and bind together in a black cloth.
Add a few drops of the oil onto the cloth. then say

Draw over it a pentagram and the charms of banishment.
Burn the mixture to drive away the spirits that ail you.
Burn it in your home or room you wish to exorcise. Bury
it before your doorstep and no demon
shall touch you nor enter. Wear the charm or hide it in the
roof to ensure safety against any ills.

Find the center point of the house. If there is more than one level,
then use the stairs as the center.
Take a cup of red wine and take a sip at each turn. Drain the cup at
the end Face the East saying:

If you are unlucky enough to break a mirror, collect all the pieces,
put in a glass jar
and stand on you window sill, the shards deflect all the bad luck

Light a cinnamon incense stick in the center of the room and walk to

north east corner or wall. Say:
"Earth and air, purify to good, blow away evil."
Draw a pentagram of smoke and use the incense stick to stab through

A WITCH'S BOTTLE
Gather rosemary, needles and pins. Fill a small jar with these three
ingredients,
saying the following as you work:
Pins, needles, rosemary, wine
In this witch's bottle of mine
Guard against harm and enmity
This is my will, So mote it be!
Visualize these herbs doing just that. When the jar is full, pour in
red wine.
Then cap or cork the jar and drip wax from a black or red candle
around the seal.
Bury the jar at the farthest corner of your property or place it in
an inconspicuous
spot in the house. The Witch's bottle destroys negativity and evil.
The pins and needles impale evil, the wine drowns it, and the

To cleanse a single room - on top of a newspaper, set a blue candle.
Surround with a circle of salt.
Burn a little sage in the room. Light the candle, making sure it
won't tip over.
Close the door and let the candle burn down.
When finished, take newspaper, salt, and candle leaving and bury far

To cleanse a house - select four corners. set four candles: north -

This spell is very good if there is a lot of turmoil or stress in the
household.
Do the following spell, and while doing so, remember to focus on your
intent for a peaceful household.
Sew a small pouch of lavender cloth.
Place a small trinket in the pouch for each member of your household.
Add to this a pinch each of lavender, rose and chamomile, before
placing each pinch in the
pouch, remember to hold it for a moment and REALLY focus, finally,
add a small amethyst.
Now, anoint a lavender or pink candle with peace oil(see recipes) and
then light it.
Sit in front of the candle and hold the pouch in your hands and
whisper the following chant
over it softly 3 times:
Blessed Goddess, most gentle one, calm my home for me.
Relieve all tension, send it far, so from stress we shall be free.
Touch my family with peace and calm, and the sweetest softest bliss,

Set the pouch with the candle. Allow the candle to burn down
completely.
Hang the pouch in your home, preferably in the room where everyone
gathers the most.
Whenever tension seems to build, repeat the above chant 3 times and
envision peace
and tranquility radiating from the pouch and The Goddess.

Collect equal parts (about a handful each) of dried marjoram, bay and
rosemary.
Heat a gallon of water until it is almost boiling, remove it from the

herbs into the water. Cover and allow to cool.
Strain the herbs from the water and, using your fingers, sprinkle the
infusion throughout the house.
Move in a clockwise direction, visualizing and saying something like
the following:
I banish evil and negativity;
This is my will, So Mote It Be!
Touch the water to the doors and windows, appliances and furniture,
outside around the
home and on the surrounding property. Be sure to pour some down the
drains as well.
Visualize the water cleansing the whole area. It is done.
HERB CLOSET OR DRAWER SQUARES
Place handfuls of each of dried lavender flowers, rosemary, one
tablespoon each crushed
cloves and small pieces of dried lemon peel together. Sew small
cotton squares about four
by four inches; leaving a space open. Stuff with herb mixture. Tie
several together and wrap
in tissue paper tied with raffia. Attach a note explaining that these
will protect clothes from
insects and can be placed in drawers, closets or boxes.

Let the rose petals steep for three days, strain and bottle the

HOUSE BLESSING
Prepare your home and yourself for the onset of spring by first
cleaning house the conventional way.
As you do, meditate on the mental debris you need to clean out as
well.
Then, when you're ready, take up your ritual broom, start at the
front door and sweep all
around the house, visualizing all unwanted things being swept away by
your magickal broom.
When you return to the front door, open it wide and sweep this stuff
away.
Now light a white candle and carry it around your home.
Visualize a light of peace and newness spreading around you and your
home.
Make a circle of light before each window and door, asking the
blessings of the Goddess
and the God on your home and all who dwell within it.
ANGELIC BANISHING
Shout this Mantra:

Call upon your highest teacher, angel, or God to clear the spirit.
To increase the potency of this spell, burn sage incense and white
candles.
Use a glass of water to collect negativity, then flush the water.
Also, wear any jewelry that is sacred to you. Express power and
strength, show no fear.
While you meditate after the chant, know that the atmosphere around
you has been
cleared of all evil spirits.
PROSPERITY CHARM
Put a sprig of basil, a magnet and five small coins above your
doorway to invite prosperity!
A WARDING
The following is an easy warding ritual for your home or just one
room.
You must admit that there are those who would use magic in unwise
ways.
A simple way I've found of dealing with such attempts is to ward a
room you work in, or your home.
It is similar to casting a circle except that it is as permanent as
you want it to be.
Be sure that you won't be disturbed while casting the ward or you
will have to start over.
Nothing is required to do this but you may use any props necessary to
make you most comfortable.
After ensuring you won't be disturbed, ground and center (use any
form you wish, this is a
very adaptable ritual). Cast your circle, using the walls as the four
Quarters (again use
whatever method you are most comfortable with).
After the circle is cast you will do something similar to circle
casting.
Invoke the Quarters again this time asking for protection of the area
being warded against
all negative influences from being able to ever enter the area
involved.
As you invoke each Quarter visualize a wall of energy completely
covering the wall involved
sealed by a floor to ceiling pentacle. On the wall/s with a door
visualize a smaller version of the
energy wall and pentacle so that entering and leaving will not affect
the integrity of the working.
After each wall, the floor, and the ceiling are sealed be sure to
cleanse the area to ensure that
no negativity was trapped inside the room (any method is acceptable).
When done thank the Quarters for their help and dismiss them.
PROTECT YOUR ABODE WHILE YOU ARE TRAVELLING
To prevent theft: gather as many keys as you have in your house
should be the # of doors
that you have in your house)
Moving slowly through your house, take a key, touch it to the door
and say:
"Lock out thieves in the night.
Lock out thieves in the light.
Lock out thieves out of sight."
Repeat this until you have touched each and every key to each door.
Then, tie them with a
red ribbon and hang over front door. Remember to visualize them
keeping away thieves!
Remember, never leave your bed empty for too long.
Doing so may cause unwanted negative energy to settle in your place.
When heading off, clean the bed and tuck a broom into it, bristles on
the pillow.
If you are in a strange place you might want to bring along a blue
candle.
Burning blue while you sleep will help protect you. Mirrors are great
protection in the
bedroom, as it repels negative influences. So put a small one on the
headboard of
your bed, or at least facing the door, and you should stay safe
throughout the night.
SPELL TO TRAP AN EVIL SPIRIT (IN A JAR)
This traps an evil entity or evil spirits and prevents any harm being
done.
--Salt water - 1 part Sea salt to 8 parts of spring water.
--1 dried Rose 13 Rose Thorns 1 Small Glass Jar + a tightly fitting
lid
Put the Rose Thorns into the jar one at a time and as you do this and
drop one in,
chant the following words each time:
"Thou Demon presence. Be no more!"
Crush up the Thorns in the jar and then crush up the Rose petals and
add them to the jar,
slowly add the salt water. Keep the jar open overnight.
The next morning before the sunrise close the lid. All the evil
should now be trapped inside the jar.
Cover the jar with a cloth and bury it far away from the house in a
place that has no buildings nearby.
BANISHING NEGATIVE ENERGIES AND ELEMENTS FROM YOUR HOUSE
The idea is to lie in your token meditational spot - you know where
it's nice, cozy, silent and
you're sure not to be disturbed for at least half an hour. and build
up some processional
energy, try burning some frankincense incense or whatever works for
you.
No circle is required. when you think you've reached a highly
charged, powerful state
envision a cone of power going anti-clockwise (for banishing) like a
cyclone above your
house, slowly bring the cone (which I think is supposed to be upside
down - as in big part
on the bottom) down into your house and envision all the little nasty
energies being taken
up into the cyclone squealing and kicking and being enveloped by the
giant cone.
Drive the cone down below your house and deep into the earth and let
all the little nasty
creatures out there, once you are sure nothing is clinging take the
cone back up into your
house and go through the process again, a little bit stronger and
more determined this time,
so as any smart little things can be washed out in the rinse cycle
(lol).
Empty them deep into the earth again and let the cone rise out of
your house and disperse -
Relax and feel the positive energy and the lack of negativity in your
house.
Focus on these thoughts and keep the negative thoughts far from your
head or they will
feed on it and possibly come back.
HOME BLESSING
Who comes to me, I keep.
Who goes from me, I free.
Yet against all I stand
who do not carry my key.
Use this as an inscription over a threshold with three pine cones
hung loose to blow in the wind.
THE CAULDRON AND THE KNIFE
Just before going to bed, fill a cauldron (or iron bucket, bowl or
pot) with water and place it inside
your house near the front door. Take a very sharp knife or Athame and
place it point-down
into the water, saying:
"Into the water I place this blade,
To guard against the thief and shade.
May no flesh nor astral shell
Enter this place wherein I dwell"
This is a good protection spell, and can be performed every evening.
In the morning, remove
and dry the knife, and place it somewhere safe. Then, without
touching it, pour the water
outside, (or down the drain if necessary) and put the cauldron away.
It probably wouldn't be
a good idea to do this spell if you're expecting company, as it could
be dangerous (and wet).
You can do this at each door if desired, and protects against more
than corporeal forms.
SPELL TO PROTECT YOUR HOME
Go outside and collect pebbles from anywhere you feel like such as a
mountain, a stream,
a beach, etc or many different places. Then take them home and find
an earthenware pot
or some other natural material container and place it in front of
you. Cast a circle if you wish
and then take the first stone, say
"Little stone, oh so small, that comes from.... (place you got it)
Protect this house with your power,
and turn away darkness at all hours"
Envisage a large bubble of white light that deflects negativity
emanating from the stone
and then place it in the pot. Repeat with the rest of the stones and
then finally place the
pot in the place you feel it belongs.
SPELL TO LOCK OUT ANYTHING NASTY
You need to start by meditating before hand on the effect of the
spell for at least 15 minutes.
Then, to cast, you sprinkle holy (consecrated to the Lord and Lady)
water mixed with salt and
powdered iron; (try potteries to get this) Stand in front of the door
that you want to lock...or in
the case of a person the 3rd eye point which is between the eyebrows
just above their level.
Then place your hands on the 3rd chakra point or door and concentrate
your energies
going down your right arm and going through the door and back into
your left arm.
Then you start chanting over and over:
"Portal be controlled and mine,

Keep chanting this as you build up power, and imagine the circle of

HOME CLEANSING
This is a great spell used to clean your home of negative energy.
Spell performed preferably during a waning moon but can be cast at
any needed time for a
cleansing during any moon phase. Any evening after sunset, Light the
end of a sagebrush stick.
Have a glass of water and a bowl Containing a shallow pool of water
nearby.
Blow out the flame and blow on the embers Of the stick to increase
the smoke.
In each room of your house, Blow smoke in each of the four
directions.
Blow gently upon the burning stick As you face each wall of the room.
Say aloud:
I clear this space of all negativity
And of the energy of people or things
That have no purpose in this household.
I ask that this clearing be gentle
And that all of this energy be returned to its source.
When you are done with your whole house, Return to the room you
started in.

for the herbs. Hold up the picture of you and your partner, think
back to when the photo was taken. Relive and visualise the happy
feelings you felt at that time, and realise how your love for each

A Spell to See Spirits
To see spirits, old European grimoires recommend mixing together
aloe, pepper, musk, vervain, and saffron and burning this in a
cemetery. We can adapt this for other locations (like those in which
the spirit lived) by adding a bit of sweet grass or tobacco to a
specially prepared incense. Create the incense on the anniversary of
the death of the individual you wish to contact. This is then burned
at 11 am, in the safety of a magic circle that also holds symbolic
items to connect you to the entity. An incantation to encourage the
spirit's presence is "Guardians of the Spirit realm, hear and guide
my plea. When the witching hour rings true, bring my friend (loved
one, etc.) ________ to me. Other souls who hear my call are not
welcome in this place. Only the one known as _____ may enter sacred
space."
Repeat the request three times, twenty minutes apart, then wait
quietly for indications of a presence. Signs include the scent of
flowers or a favored cologne, a cool wind, movement of curtains, and

can make one out of cardboard and tinfoil), and three coins. Place
them on a green cloth. Imagine what you wish for: more money, a new
job, etc. See yourself happy in that setting, smiling and enjoying
the change. Then place your hand over the items and say:

Sunwise Gathering Charm
Many magical practitioners are familiar with the concept of working
in a sunwise direction. The term used to describe this motion is
deosil, which comes from the Scottish Gaelic word deisil (or Irish
deiseal), meaning "Sun-wise" or "toward the south." Widdershins, the
opposite type of motion, was known as tuaitheal, "left-hand wise,"
or "northward." Right-hand movement was lucky or auspicious and left-
hand motion unlucky (or associated with waning energies). For this
reason, magical herbs were sometimes gathered with the right hand, as
in this folk charm for gathering St. John's wort:
St. John's wort,

I will pluck thee
With my right hand

With my left.

A Spell for Success in Court
If you are facing a judgment in court, write down all possible
verdicts on a piece of paper. With scissor or a knife, cut out only
the desired conclusion while focusing your mind on a positive
outcome. Carefully burn the unwanted portion, until nothing but ash
remains. Release or bury this ash so it is symbolically "lost" to
you. Carry the other piece of paper into court, wrapped in gold
cloth, as a protective amulet.

A small piece of parchment paper

a goal you desire in your life, as

or large fire proof container and burn
it. Speak the following words.

Burning Bright,
Seal my spell,
At this magic rite."
As the parchment burns the spell
is dispersed into the air.
New Home Blessing
When you move into a new home, it is a good time to welcome Hestia to
your hearth. This spell is best done when your home is empty, but
even if you moved in a while ago, this simple ritual will ignite her
presence. In the "heart"of your home, take a broom and start to
sweep, moving in a clockwise direction. Sweep around the area three
times, chanting:

Bless this space
I call my own.
Make my household
Trouble free,
Dearest Hestia,
Make it be.
Now brush the dust outside and bring in a table or chair to use as an
altar. Place fresh flowers and baked goods on your altar. Sprinkle
salt in each corner of the room in a clockwise direction (this keeps
the negative spirits away). Open the windows and let the sunshine in.

New Moon Seed Spell
This spell is to help the growth of
new projects, and should be done when
the first thin crescent of moon shows.
You will need a bowl of earth or
compost and a large seed such as
sunflower seeds for each new goal you
wish to work on. An alternative would
be to use a pinch of alfalfa or cress
seeds for each magical goal; these
could then be eaten once they have
sprouted, so that you make the wish
part of yourself.
Take a seed (or pinch of smaller seeds)
for the first magical goal and cup it
in your hands, visualising your purpose
as you hold the seed/s, being sure that
what you ask for is to your benefit and
doesn't harm yourself or anyone else.
When you have done, plant the seed/s in
the bowl of compost. Then move on to the
next goal. You can do this spell alone
or in a group, but try not to work with
more than three goals per person, or you
won't be able to put as much energy into
the spell.
When you have planted all your seeds, hold
the bowl in your cupped hands, breathe in
energy (imagine this like sunlight) then
visualise yourself sending the energy into
the bowl of seeds through your hands. See
this as a stream of light, or a glow or
even a tingling feeling, whatever works best
for you. If you are in a group, send the bowl
round the circle clockwise so that each person
in turn can empower the seeds. It may help to
visualise the bowl filling with the green
energy of growth.
When the seeds sprout, plant them out in
pots or the garden, or eat the cress/alfalfa.
Spell to Invite love into your life
Materials required
Two red Roses
Dried jasmine flowers and Rose petals
One Red candle
One foot of red ribbon.
Find yourself a convenient place to work
your spell.
Use a table for your altar.
On the left side of the table place one of
the roses which represents you.
On the right side of the table place the
other rose which represents the invitation
of Love.
In the centre stand your red candle.
Make a heart shape of jasmine and Rose
petals around your candle.
Hold the candle and clearly visualise
pure love coming into your life.
Be accurate in your visions,make sure
that you are inviting love into your
life and not a particular person.
Focus your mind on the kind of qualities
such a person will have to share with you
To be Honest, kind, caring, understanding
and loving are some that spring to my mind.
When you have completed your visualisation,
light the candle and repeat the following
chant.
"Within my mind I can see,
Thou art my love in front of me.
Inside thy soul a flame burns bright,
Encompassed with thy love of light.
Entice me with your heart so bold,
The secret of this love untold.
Thy fated future Entwined to be,
A love secure for you and me."
Using the ribbon, tie the two rose
buds together and place in a vase.
Allow the candle to burn down and
the rose buds to open.
As this takes place a new love will
come into your life.
Spell for Breaking a Curse:
Gather certain fallen twigs; One of hazel, One of Oak; One of Elm, and one of Willow; Hold them to the fires smoke, Say this softly seven times all:
"Turner be turned, Burner be burned, Let only good, Come out of this wood."
Spit on each, and break it small Cast them in the fire's mouth- The curse will die with the fire's death.
To Break A Spell
Get a white candle and place it in a holder.
Place the holder in the middle of your cauldron.
Fill the cauldron with water so that the candle extends above the rim of the cauldron and above the water.
Light the candle and visualize the spell being broken.
As soon as the flame burns down and touches the water, it will go out.
Dig a hole in the earth and pour the in the rest of the water and bury the candle.
So shall it be!
Breaking a Family Curse
First you need something that represents your family for several generations. Either an extended family photo, a family/heraldic crest if you have one or a copy of your family tree. If using a photo or tree, it must include the names of those who you think are cursed and who you are including in the curse breaking spell.
Take the item and place it inside a green satin bag. Then, place one cup of sand, one good-sized quartz crystal or one stone inscribed/decorated with a Tree of Life symbol.
Lastly, write the following on a piece of parchment paper and place within the bag:
"Family ties that bind us tight
Protect us from a rivals sight
Once damaged by an ill word spoken
With love and light, this curse is broken!"
Sew the bag shut. At the dark of the moon, take the bag to the nearest river or moving body of water, and toss it as far in as you can. By the time the moon is full, the curse will be lifted.

to protect all that, surrounds me, so mote it be!
PROTECTION CHANT
Here is a protection chant to protect you from evil, you should do this before and after doing spells.
Visualize your self sitting in the middle of the pentagram facing upwards with 3 circles of purple light
around you and say:
Protect me with all your might
Goddess gracious day and night
Say it three times and end with, So Mote It Be!

Trice around the circle's bound
Sink all evil into the ground
Say it three times and end with, So Mote It Be!
PROTECTION SPELL
Needed: white candle, protection incense, photo of your loved ones
Light the incense. Place the candle on top of your photo(s) and light it.
Envision a protective white light surrounding your loved ones and say:
"O Goddess, protect my loved ones every day, as they sleep and as they play.
Help them to always smile bright, and keep them safe in Your loving light.
Protect them from harm and from all they fear.
For they are the ones that I hold dear.
I thank the Goddess for helping me.
I trust in Her aid So mote it be!"
Let the candle and incense burn down.
PROTECTING THE HOME
Start by mixing water and salt, two elements of magic. Consecrate them.
Use garlic salt and add powdered rosemary if you need to clear out ghosts or spirits.
Begin at the main entrance of the house or apartment.
Sprinkle some of the consecrated water by dipping your fingers in it and making
the sign of the pentacle. Say:
Evil shall leave but not enter.
Use a firm voice. Make it a commandment, with all of your power behind it.
Proceed counterclockwise through the house, repeating the procedure in
every corner of each room, at all the windows, doors and mirrors.
Don't forget telephones, computers with active modems, fax machines,
intercoms, and televisions that are connected to the Internet.
It doesn't hurt to do the mailbox, too.
Make the downward pentacle, with your left hand, if this feels right to you.
Or the upward pentacle with your right hand. Either will work.
Repeat the spell annually, or whenever you feel in need of it.
It is important to perform a spell like this one on a new home before you move into it.
TO PROTECT YOUR HOUSE
You need: A whole head of Garlic 3 large 'iron' nails 9 pieces of White Thread (7 in. long each)
6 pieces each of Black Thread and Red Thread (7 inches long each)
Wax One White Egg Water and Wine
Twist or braid 3 white, 2 red and 2 black threads together, melt a little wax and dip the threads
so that it forms a stiff twine/wick like feel. Do this two more times so you have 3 waxed braids.
Place the nails in a fire until they are red hot, while still hot (you can let them cool a little bit)
wrap each nail with a garlic leaf. Then wind one of the waxed threads around each leave covered nail.
In a dish or bowl make a triangle with the nails and place it in a safe place (or your altar).
Place the egg in the triangle so it stands up, sprinkle with wine and water everyday.
HOME PURIFICATION
Incense: 1 tablespoon pine needles 1 tablespoon juniper 1 tablespoon cedar
Make sure all ingredients are completely dry. Grind ingredients together and burn on charcoal.

1 glass bottle or jar with cap mixing bowl funnel (you can make one with a rolled up piece of paper)
9 herbs of choice from list: (Acacia, Aloe, Angelica, Anise, Ash, Basil, Birch, Blackberry,
Blueberry, Broom, Caraway, Carnation, Cedar, Cinquefoil, Clover, Cotton, Cypress, Dill,
Eucalyptus, Fennel, Flax, Foxglove, Grass, Hazel, Heather, Holly, Irish Moss, Ivy, Lilac,
Mandrake, Marigold, Mistletoe, Mugwort, Mulberry, Oak, Olive, Pine, Primrose, Raspberry,
Rice, Rose, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Spanish Moss, Thistle, Valerian, Violet, Willow)
Pour the nine selected herbs into the mixing bowl one by one. As you pour each one in say
