Your hair and Selenium July 20, 2008 9:59 AM

It has been shown that selenium can help the hair loss some may get from medications.  If you want a multivitamin you can use Centrum Silver.  It has it in it and you don't have to be a senior to use it.  I started using it in my 30's.

Magnesium and Migraines October 17, 2007 7:12 PM

Magnesium and MigrainesMagnesium May Ward Off MigrainesStress, caffeine, bright lights, and cigarette smoke are just a few of the many triggers that can provoke migraine headaches. Approximately 28 million Americans suffer from migraine headaches with debilitating effects that can last for hours or days.

Dr. Barbara Levine, Director of the Nutrition Information Center and Associate Professor of Nutrition in Clinical Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University states, “Studies have shown a relationship between migraine headaches and low brain magnesium levels; therefore, magnesium supplementation may be effective in warding off migraines.” __

To learn more about these dietary supplements and others, including research citations, information on basic use, dosage, and contraindications, written in layman’s terms, visit the DSIB Web site at Finding the information is as easy as clicking on the name of a supplement or condition.
