First, I'd like to encourage each of you to find and post information that is relevant to the county in which you live. 

Where are the shelters; what programs are available?  Is there a 10 year plan to end homelessness?  What about winter shelter? 

Don't forget to stop in and introduce yourself too!  If you have friends in your personal or online network who are interested in homeless/housing issues, please invite them to join the group!  I'd especially love to have more Oregonians participating...

As I build the group, I will be adding threads either for individual counties or for regions - such as Central or Eastern.   Each will have a thread for general information, news, etc. as well as a separate thread for resources.

Articles/information not strictly for Oregon can also be posted in group if it is relevant to the topic of homelessness/housing insecurity.  News on creative solutions and programs, action alerts, personal stories - all of these would be wonderful additions!
