Welcome to this Group.... October 30, 2007 5:09 PM
Greetings,
We all know that we want peace on earth... it is indeed something people have wished to see happen for hundreds if not thousands of years. However, how do we get from wishing and praying for peace to actually helping to bring it about and making it a reality. This community will be covering topics such as our inherent power as individuals to make this happen and how we can apply this to our goal of being peace-makers. There will also be plenty of posts and ideas here on how we can unite us on a planetary scale and how we can talk to people to let them see that. Then of course we will also discuss why peace is something we really need to work towards; not something to merely wait and wish for. There will also be discussions of various techniques, various plans and initiatives where some of my own design and some are things that I found others doing. Hopefully the end result will be peace, however, I will be needing some help to get it accomplished. Are you up for the challenge? I hope we can make this a very active community!
Welcome to the new people, Lida, Emily, Karen, John, Jean, Rusty and all of those who have joined before . Feel free to comment on any post that I or someone else posts, to start a new discussion, or to tell me what you think about peace and how you think we could bring it about. Please invite your friends and family to this group and the petitions I have out . Thank you again for joining.
Sarvo thanks for the invite. Peace is what the Earth needs Peace from God our Father Blessings of Peace to all. Michael Owens

I'm an old hippie who wants to return to the zeitgeist of the 60's, when it seemed like we were making some progress on peace for everyone, despite Vietnam, or perhaps because of it...
Has everyone signed the petition to the UN asking for "Peace Every Day?" If not, I hope Marek will post the link here. The more signatures the better!
I signed your petition on Nov. 7.

Merry Greet to all,Thank you for the invite Sarvo.I do not always have time to regularly contribute to the groups I am a member of but I could not decline an invite to a group based on promoting peace within & throughout Mother earth-so here I am & I will do my best to contribute.
Welcome to all the new members.... and thank you Sarvo! November 16, 2007 7:11 AM
Greetings everyone,
I would like to welcome all the new faces who have gathered here in the last two days to help bring peace to our beloved home. Also, I would like to thank Sarvo personally for passing this link on to many of his friends : he is a perfect example of what difference it can make to take a few minutes out of your day to pass this (and the petition links) onwards to others for the sake of peace.
While not each of us can be active every single day by posting, sharing and personal action -- we all can take a few minutes a day to focus intently on peace and all of us can do a little each week to progress this cause forward.
I look forward to interacting with all of you more on this community and in the projects we are all setting up here .
What a beautiful group you’ve joined here, I see some sweet familiar faces. Sarvo, thank you for inviting me – you must have read my mind, I dwell a lot on peace. My heart is full of gratitude that I live in a peaceful country. Our peace gives me a lot of energy, strength and ideas of how to refine peace, expand peace, spread it, multiply it and make themes and lots and lots of variations of peace.
Here is a piece/peace of my heart for you – a very close friend of mine I am not currently in touch with, a controversial persona who triggered a lot of thinking in my head regarding peace.

Thank you Sarvo for inviting me. I believe that tho many of us have it in our hearts to make peace in the world, we humans are not essentially a peace-making species - why look at me a peace-loving person, I squabble with my sister all the time - so it takes the presence of the Spiritual and the invocation of the same (whatever one's beliefs) to bring harmony into the world! Glad to meet you all!

My 2 cents . . . **giggle** November 16, 2007 1:32 PM
Thank YOU for the invite Sarvo… What a wonderful group indeed!I just wanted to share something that I recently learned and please feel free to comment on any part of it.I BELIEVE in the power of prayer and so I was recently given a book – “The Isaiah Effect” by Greg Braden and it clearly added what seemed to BE missing from my unanswered prayers. It is a missing element that I did not understand, but it appears to BE written in ALL Sacred Texts!
In brief… A prayer is a thought that WE produce in our head. Our thoughts do not have energy to manifest until a catalyst brings life to them. From my understanding, the equation to bring life to our prayers is this…
First - Visualize the thought of what YOU are praying for… (World Peace - Visualize a simple picture with what OUR World would look like with that thought produced - Smiling Faces on every BEING's Face comes to MY mind)It is important not to visualize what we perceive the World to BE as of right now – Leave all **NEGATIVITY** out.
Second- Allow the feelings of this Beautiful Vision to roam free in your body… It is in the unison of both THOUGHT + FEELING that creates EMOTION…Emotion is the energy that brings life to our thoughts/prayers and manifests them into “Reality”…
I think it is worth experimenting with… Looking forward to GREAT things in this group!
Thank you Sarvo for the kind invite. I'm looking forward to all the new discussions and getting to know each one of the members. Until then love, peace and joy.

If anyone is willing to go an extra mile for promoting this care2group or the petitions let me know and I will get you set up upon my return from vacation (or later tonite if I still catch you before I fly )

Bush needs to open his eyes November 17, 2007 2:20 PM
I would like to say is Bush needs to open his eyes mat be we should all get together have meeting at the white house and tell him that Patriots Act is wrong for the Amweican peoole and the world and letting, him know starting, a war is wrong and letting him know that we want peace in the world and lying, to the congress and to the senate and to the American people just to get the Bills veto on Children health care and not letting the war to end this were we all should have our meeting with this offal President that we have in office he is a one big bully to the world and to the American people
I hope that every one listening to the protest on c-span 1
Thank you so much my dear friend Sarvo for the invite to this Peaceful group. In the last few years I have truly come to believe we create our own reality...my life reflects what I put out. I do my best daily to live in peace and love with those I come in contact with. I so look forward to *CARING and SHARING* with all of you here...those I know...and those of you I don't! Namaste. Peace, Love and Light...SummerDaze
I thank Elf and Sarvo for inviting me here. I think we, who want peace, are amoung the majority. We just need to use our energy and creativity to transform this once beautiful planet back into the nurturing, loveing, and generous planet she used to be.
It has always been the minority that wants chaos, death, and war. But they have the money, greed, and have abused our good mother and enslaved the poverty stricken parts of us to do their bidding.
Give your love and energy to healing our earth and our brothers and sisters around the world.
...Sarvo, for inviting me to this wonderful connection to people who are also interested in seeing change. I pray that we can teach peace to as many as we come in contact with.
Welcome to all the new faces.... :) November 25, 2007 5:00 PM
Greetings to all,
And welcome to new faces here. I hope you will feel free to make this community your home just as it is mine. I welcome all inputs and all opinions here on how we can bring more peace to our beloved Home - Mother Earth.
Gloria -- I agree on setting up local groups and see that there are many things we can do with that idea. In fact, if you would like to be involved with setting something like that up, please let me know either by posting it here, answering my post when I post about local groups or even by private message. This counts for anyone else as well...because unless we organize locally as well -- as a community in Peace -- we will only have limited effect in our desire for peeace. While I have already done some plannings for local groups/communities of EarthPeace both before and during my vacation -- the plans are as of yet, not quite presentable yet. (They are still on paper, not on computer, and quite unorganized at that).
William, I agree that Bush's Leadership is less than perfect and that the Patriot Act is a horrible thing to have to deal with for all people who live here in the USA. However, while doing a protest in DC for peace and for revoking of the Patriot Act is a good action indeed (just as are national and regional protests of all sorts against injustice) the problems we are needing to address are much deeper than the affairs of one nation or region. When I say this I mean that while we can do a lot to alleviate the symptoms of war and strife on a day to day basis with protests and actions we also must focus a lot of energy to find the underlying causes for these things and address them properly. The latter is the main reason for existence of EarthPeace , but not to worry, we will be doing plenty of the former as well to show how we are feeling about individual issues.
Genelda, I agree that those who want peace are often in majority and those who want war are in minority. But just as you say - they have the power, money, influence and we do not (as of yet). So, hence, the few control the many in quite a few different ways. Media, Big Businesses, Money and Resources, Religion, Celebrity Status and Influence and in Government. While this unbalance is present it will be very hard for even a few of us to get from here to there to speak up about what we believe is right and to get a more balanced way of life to be adapted. Hence, we will have to work together and approach this with as much of a unified stradigy as is possible. Yes, this will involve not only speaking up and writing our views down as has been done for many years but also working hard in unison to invent and create alternatives in every aspect of life. This also means that we will be needing to harness some of the resources out there (such as money) and putting it to proper use. In addition this may also require a number and variety of other things; such as combined prayer/meditiation for peace, local groupings, finding more and more ways to unite humanity and so forth. Because of the large scope of what we will have to be doing this may seem daunting to many of us but together we can not only succeed but flourish in this endeavor. The more of us that stand up and make this stand -- even a tiny stand, the more others will find the courage to get involved as well.
In this I welcome everyone and hope that all will get involved and pass this on to as many others as possible.
I would like to take a moment to welcome all the new faces :) December 09, 2007 7:35 AM
Greetings everyone,
I would like to take a moment to welcome all the new faces to the EarthPeace community and to bid you all a fair welcome. Feel free to chime in here, introduce yourselves, make a statement for peace, post a peaceful picture or anything you wish. Do not be shy in contribuating -- I welcome all topics on peace, creating peace, what we would like a peaceful world to be like...and anything else that would be cool to talk about.
If you are a community member who has been here a while, perhaps this might be a good time to check out the new topics here, post a little, or perhaps even invite a friend or two of yours. Any help you render to make this community a better place is much appreciated and it does bring us closer to peace.
THIS GROUP COULD BE THE KEY TO ALL PEACE AND HAPPINESS.THERE IS MANY THAT HAVE ALWAYS TOLD OF THIS PEACE THERE WAS PTE-SAN-WI ALSO MOTHER MARY AS LADY OF THE NATIONS.OUR WORLD NEEDS US.MORE THEN THEY WILL EVER KNOW .SO I AM PLEASED TO BE WITH YOU HERE. KENNY
This Christmas night I wish and pray for peace for the earth and perhaps it starts simply in the hearts and minds of all of us here. We manifest this dream and it ripples out into the world. Christmas seems so sad for so many. It was even sad for me all day, I am thankful for this group, and am sorry I don't share more. I am sharing tonight the most peaceful photo I have, of my horses that know instinctively how to leave in peace and show it to us so beautifully.
Welcome to all of the new faces and to the wonderful discussion topics we have had in the last few days here. Please keep sharing, please keep posting -- and feel free to post about your issues here; what you say could one day make a big difference in the world .
Kenny; I agree that this group is very important and so are all of the people who are here to give their voices, energy, love and ideas to make peace a reality. By all of us together, joining minds, hearts and souls from all over the world we make a difference already. Do you know that our EarthPeace community is probably one of the faster growing and one of the most diverse groups out there? It is so because we EACH make it so. Each of us serves as a Light of Hope and Peace in a dark world and each week more Lights join us. So, if any of you have time, take ten minutes for peace and invite some of your friends and others you know to this community.
Lori, the pictures of your horses are wonderful. They are truly peaceful. And yes, peace will begin with us (and in the hearts of each of our Brothers and Sisters who are in the world hoping, praying and working towards peace on their own or with other peace groups.). So let's shine it forward from here.
Thank you Isabele for your nice wishes for the New Year .
THANK-YOU FOR THE INVITE, THIS IS A GREAT GROUP & I APPRECIATE TO BE PART OF IT !! LOVE & PEACE....JUST WONDERFUL, CANT ASK FOR MORE !! BLESSINGS TO ALL...

Greetings to everyone,
I wish to take a moment to invite everyone that is new to EarthPeace. Please feel free to share the issues that you care about most (and be sure to share why you feel about them), as well as post about any topic that is related to peace or how to bring about peace in our world.
Please, also if you have not done so yet, take a few minutes out of your busy day and invite your care2 friends to here. I have seen a few of you do so much to help me further this group and I appreciate everyone's help and every new face to our growing community.
Thank you for your invitation to this group Silvia, I believe I could contribute my support to topics you have, hoping that our voices will be heard by many and would make the world a better place to live in. Love & hugssssss Matt
