An easy way to contribute is to test the myC4 website, see in the announcement about how to log in, and then try to put a bid on an opportunity.

and glad you likes the site Amelia... remember you can try out the bidding system with the means we put in the end poverty fund, especially set up for the care2 members of this group.. the money in the fund does no use just sitting on the account, they need to be lend out as working capital in small buisness in Afric, that's where they make a change

All who lead for the greater good will have followers who become leaders. Thanks Soren and Robin for inviting me into the group. I'm also interested in US national/regional food drives, esp. for Native Americans. Clothes, books, household items...whatever I can get from people and truck it to reservations. A delicate cultural area with proper care as a prerequisite, I think assisting the Native Americans is an imperative that remains largely ignored in America. But under the surface, I think people would like to give a little benevolent "payback" to the people whose lands and lives were taken away violently and without mercy.
As soon as my next check comes in, I'll make a donation to our End Poverty initiative. Robyn
Just a reminder that there already are money in the END POVERTY FUND, but as long as they're just sitting on the account they're not doing any good, the system works so we personally go in and place the money, there's no managers of the fund placing them for us... so give it a try, log in as explained in the host announdement, and place 10 My Credits - remember to ad a comment with your name and if you like a statement

We could come up with a proposalwhere we could set up an account and make contribution into it until such a time we are able to contribute and start a project that could be benefiacial to the local community.the beneficiaries could either be here in the US or any other place.
All in all iam happy to be a member .

To Samuel, it's an excellent idea, and I'm happy to inform you that we already have an account up and running at MyC4.com, which belongs to this group... Mads donated 200 Euros and I 50 for a start, and it's free for groupmembers to log in and place the money in african buisnesses, thus helping them getting capital for developing and generate prosperity to their communities, at the same time they pay back, with some interest, which increase our fundings for investing even more as paybacks come in... As the Nobel Prize Winner Yunus have proven, smallscale loans to indigenous business works much better than bigscale industral projects as a way to eradicate poverty and as starter for sustainable development of communities.
Read the Host Announcement for details how to use our group account, for those who'll like to add to it, it can be done when logged in....
As the goal is to eradicate poverty before 2015, no funds will be withdrawn before that date... and then it'll be a groupdecision how to further use the funds for doing good

Peace to all. I look forward to the discussions and the changes that we can bring about to end proverty. My main interest, honestly, is poverty here in the states with 40 million of us without health care and 1/3 of the children in this country living below the poverty line it is something that needs to be fixed and fast. Thanks again for the invite.

First off, thanks for the invite Soren!! I am currently working in lots of different villages in Africa that are severely poor and need help. I hope with this group that I can come up with some great resources for how to help them!! Networking is always beneficial!! Thanks again!! =o)) Renee'
