I think what the host is saying is for THIS THREAD ONLY post successful petition. I am disappointed to lose the other one with lots of success stories, proving petitions can work, is muddled down in the archives.
You can get help by starting a new thread. This thread is for successful petitions that have ended.

Laporte got $1,000 for each count & 200 hours community service. Plus, three years probation during which he is not allowed to own a dog. After that, he will be monitored so that he will not start breeding again.
Best of All! The red collar dogs are safe. He will not get the dogs back & if he even tries to contact the foster families, he will be arrested.
ALL the media were there. Keep checking Canadian press for updates.
Thank you for your support - Merci Beaucoup! The petition really made a difference. Hopefully it will impact Canadian Law so that we see an end to cruelty and puppy mills.

K!!Kristis relentless efforts to see
justice for this woman proves that even one person can make a difference! Kudos
to Kristi and to all that supported her and this cause.
Kristi, we are all very proud of you and your tireless
efforts. You are truly a wonderful asset to Care2 and to this group.
My apologies for making the same mistake twice.

Only thing I can think of is that it was late when I posted, and after sending out 860+ messages I was exhausted!
Kristi ran a 3+ year Campaign, and collected over 10,000 signatures! A far cry from the 2000 that keeps rearing its ugly head. Wonderful Job, Kristi! Electra

Hey Changemakers,
Thanks to the pressure of thousands of Change.org members, another company found out this week that it doesn't pay
to discriminate.
Last week we told you that Scholastic Books had decided to ban a book from their popular school book fairs simply
because one of the characters has two moms, thereby sending a message of intolerance to millions of families.
In response, more than 4,000 Change.org members sent emails to Scholastic Books in less than 48 hours demanding that
the company reverse its decision.
Your voices were heard, loud and clear. In response to your letters and
following our subsequent discussions with Scholastic, the
company reversed their decision to exclude the gay friendly book from all its fairs. More importantly, they made
a public commitment to "a review process that considers all books equally regardless of their inclusion of LGBT
characters and same sex parents."
Until recently, it was difficult to spread the word about unethical business practices or other urgent social issues
and mobilize people to take action. Easy-to-use activist tools like we have on Change.org, combined with social media,
have changed that forever. Anyone can now immediately start a campaign, connect to thousands of like-minded people,
and get the attention of even the largest institutions in the world.
So the next time you come across an injustice, large or small, start
a petition on Change.org and start spreading the word. Together, we'll make change happen.
