MATTHEW 5:44-45
44: "I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in Heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous."

1 CORINTIANS 13:1-3
1.] What if I could speak in all languages of humans and of angels?
If I did not love others, I would be nothing more than a noisy gong, or a clanging cymbal.
2.] What if I could prophesy
and understand all secrets and all knowledge?
And what if I had faith that moved mountains?
I would be nothing unless I loved others.
3.] What if I gave away all that I owned
and let myself be burned alive?
I would gain nothing unless I love others.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on it's own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things!

John 3:16
God so loved the people of this world that he gave his only begotten Son , so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal Life and never really die.

LOVE
1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-13
1.) I may be able to speak the languages of men,  and even of angels, but if I have not love, my speech is not more than a noisy gong, or a clanging bell. 2.) I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains-but if I have not love I am nothing. 3.) I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned-but if I have not love, it does me no good.
4.) Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous, or conceited or proud; 5.) love is not ill mannered, or selfish, or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs. 6.) love is not happy with evil, but happy with the truth. 7.) love never gives up: it's faith, hope and patience never fail.
8.) Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but they will cease; there is knowledge, but it will pass. 9.) for our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; 10.) but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear.
11.) When I was a child, my speech, feelings and thinking were all those of a child; now that I am a man I have no more use for childish ways.     12.) What we see now is like the dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. what I know now is only partial; than it shall be complete, as complete as God's knowledge of me.
13.) Meanwhile these remain: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love.

THE GIFT OF CHARITY!
1 CORINTHIANS (KJV)
 CHAPTER 13
1.] THOUGH I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or tinkling cymbal.
2.] And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3.] And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity it profiteth me nothing.
4.] Charity suffereth long, and  is kind;  charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5.] Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinkgeth no evil;
6.] Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7.] Beareth all things, believeth  all things,  hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8.] Charity never faiteth; but whether there be  prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9.] For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10.] But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11.] When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12.] For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13.] And now abideth faith, hope and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

CONCLUSION:
WE ARE ONE IN THE SPIRIT!
When I was 15 and a member of a Christian Coffee House, I remember a song that we used to sing that stays with me to this day. It was called, "We are One In the Spirit!"
These are the words,
"We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord- We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord-
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord-  And we pray that all unity will one day be restored! And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love, they will know we are Christians by our love."
Have you ever noticed that there is a difference between a true believer, and a worldly person. People of the world are often so angry, and so full of hatred and bitterness, sorrow, and confusion, but although as Christians we may experience these emotions; when you come upon a Christian, there is a Spirit of overcoming these worldly attributes. Worldly attributes; which are also replaced by a peace and spiritual love that envelopes the Christian. That is what that song is about. There is nothing so sweet and wonderful, as meeting a brother or sister in the Lord, and even though you might be strangers you are not strangers. There is a sense of oneness between the two of you; and a unity, however many brothers and sisters there are, that can not be broken!
