Solutions: What We Want! January 24, 2008 7:12 AM

From my experience stating the problem is the first step. Then comes understanding it. I think we as a nation know the problems and understand them well enough to move onto the next step, the solution.

I will plan on contributing as well, but there seems to be many problem statements on this group. Lets move onto the next step. What are the solutions? What would you like to see? What are the positive alternatives? Yes it takes more time and effort to come up with a solution, but it's WELL WORTH IT!

I wish you all the best.

Here here! Well said.

We know where we are now. The real question is, "what do we do to improve the situation?"

Finding the solution within the problem March 09, 2008 9:19 PM

The problem is in stating the problem itself.  Look at politics.  Often drastically different views on what problems exist and how they are defined.  If there were unanimity the solutions come easily.  So, the originator of the discussion needs to offer what he views as clear problems and maybe offer his views on solutions.  For my part, Leibniz said this is the best of all possible worlds and I agree.
