Warning!: Their staff will sometimes tell you that everything is vegan there. Don't believe them - both the soy cheese and soy milkshake mix they use contain dairy. Some things on the menu are vegan though, & pretty tasty too.

(626) 443-8687 is the phone number for Veggie Life in El Monte. But they hardly speak english there and couldn't answer if why their website is working or not.
Sounds like it's one of those places that's mostly for the local Vietnamese community, in which case the food is probably awesome!

Excellent Japanese restaurant, with a separate veggie menu (all but one dish is currently vegan).
Vegetarian Indian cafe, plus an Indian supermarket (not completely veggie).

Vegetarian (mostly vegan) Chinese. (I ate here back when it was called 'Veg Table' (worst restaurant name, ever), & it was really good, & really cheap.)

It's pretty good. Maybe not the best retaurant in the world, but cheap, vegan, tasty & right here in Pasadena. I'll definitely be going back.
