Hi, thanks for the invite, I am all for it. If you like check out my blog on living simply at firstname.lastname@example.org - "Why a simplistic/mininalist life". ciao, Rodger
Thanks Monica for the invite, I absolutely agree with you on this group, it is pathetically getting worse and worse!
Great idea for a group Monica!
Thank you so much for the invite, I live in my farm and do my best to live simple.
Blessings to all new friends here.
Hi. Thanks for the invite.
Hi, I think that this is an excellent group idea and a good group. I am just a member and all thanks must go to Eileen, the host! I had the idea yesterday to invite my Care2 friends, because I believe in voluntary simplicity and would love the idea to catch on and become really mainstream. Thank you to all my friends who join.
This is a fantastic group. So positive. I just love it. Thank you for the invite.
Thanks for inviting me, Monica
We downshifted two years ago, and started on a journey that moved us from a townhouse in middle suburbia of Melbourne Australia to an organic hazelnut farm in Dunedin, New Zealand, which I've been tracking on my blog http://cluttercut.blogspot.com (Cluttercut).
What an adventure! What we didn't expect was to find such a strong and welcoming community, new health and hope for our young autistic son, and a home so beautiful it's like waking up every morning in paradise.
They say that if you want to live the life you dreamed of, you have to stop dreaming and start living. Well, that's what we did, and we've never looked back!
Simple living and thankfulness - the true keys to happiness at every turn.
Monica, thank you for inviting me.
Yes, this group is a good idea...
I have been musing all day about how this group with help me keep my 2010 resolution to Reduce, Reuse and Recyles. Thank you all already for the great ideas you will share.
Hi to all, and thanks Monica for the invit
Leanne I totaly approve what you wrote " They say that if you want to live the life you dreamed of, you have to stop dreaming and start living. "
though it's not always as simple for me to make it real ...
Well happy to join you
HEY TO CLARIFY MY LAST POST I MEANT THE WORLD IS GETTING PATHETICALLY WORSE IN OVERINDULGENCE AND NOTHING MORE THAN THAT!!
Thanks Barko for clarifying! And it's good to see so many people joining and interested in voluntary simplicity. Good stuff!
It's not always easy for me either - my dreams are a work in progress! Probably dealing with my kids' autism is hardest, but we get through it day by day, together - almost, kind of, sort of. The day a cure is found I think I'll collapse and cry from relief and think I've found paradise.
But we all just do what we can on our own life journeys. Simplicity helps, because it takes the rubbish away, so you can see life for what it truly is, "warts and all"!
Hi just got back from vacation an haven't written anything here yet. Just wanna say hi for now
