Hello every' one i was born Hazel Irene Bennett to Earl and Irene Bennett of Havana ILL . I live in Havana till the age of 19 and move around a lot after that . Findley landing in Alton ILL in 1977 at that time i had two children Micah Lee and Millicent Renee . Micah was born in 1973 and Millicent was born in 1976, ten years later i had my last child Kristopher Allen . The kids father left me in 1987 i went back to school and received my GED then on to college . After college i went to work as a case worker for the state of ILL in 1992 i brought are first home in Shipman ILL . Our home is a old county victorian that is at the end of a dead end street. We have 4 large lot's and a barn that go's with it. Our home was build in 1904 in 1998 my mother cross over to join my father after 40 years . That year my first granddaughter was born on June 11 what a joy it was to be a grandmother . I was at the hospital with Micah my son and they had just came in with Ginny . Micah and i were looking her over counting toe's and finger. When i look over at the door and there in the door way was my mother smileing at me. I turn to Micah and said look son your grandmother is here; he turn and saw her standing there and smileing at us and the baby. Then she just turn around and walk out the wall at the end of the room . After that when Micah and his wife Buffy took Ginny home they would wake up at night and see Mom's rocking chair rocking right next to Ginny's bed . We always knew she would be safe ! In the spring of 1999 at Easter time i was painting my front room to look like a garden . Micah and Buffy invite Kris and i down fro Easter dinner i told Kris to go i was just so down and lonely . So there i was siting on the floor trying to open this can of paint that was stuck. I threw the paint open across the room and starter to talk to God out loud . I told him i was tired of being alone and i was putting my life in his hands to help me fine some one. But i said if you want me to have some one you are going to have to send him to me since i don't go to bar's and places like that. Then i said here is what i want from a man.

1. Must like old balck and white movies.

2. Must like to fish and hunt.

3. Must like to garden veggie and flowers.

4.Must like to read and love old books.

5. Must like to hunt fall and spring mushrooms.

6. Must like camping,and walks in the woods.

7. Must like to cry with me at sad movies.

8. Must like to cook and help clean in other words work togeather not a part.

9.Must love God .

10. And the last one love me for who i am.

Then i put it all in Gods hands on April 17, 1999 i took Kris fishing. And there he was i tell people that Kris did not catch a fish but i found my soul mate fishing right next to my son. On May 4, 1999 Joe ask me to married him and i said yes. On Aug 7, 1999 we were married in Church . That well be 9 year this year i have a saying .

It's all kinda scary isn't it? One has to wonder about the future the way the present is going. Maybe this is why the present is the way it is and we don't know it. Kind of like how the full moon affects one's well being.
