Industrial hemp CAN’T get you "high." Hemp is used for food, fuel, paper, fabric, cosmetics & rope, & is better for the environment than leading sources of these products. Hemp is a MAJOR CASH CROP and can SAVE OUR PLANET! Please support Bill H.R. 3037 IH and let the government know that the American people support industrial hemp.

Thanks Mathew I was feeling as though this would go no where. I guess I shouldn't give up. I do suggest that everyone that can please take the time to send the prewritten letter on votehemp.com to their representatives even if they don't sign my petition! And, ALWAYS, try to educate others!!!

I have signed & with extended comment as well! As an Avian enthusiast, my exotic birds require Hemp as a part of their diet...I must seek out various avenues to simply assist in fulfilling my feathered ones diet!!I bet you, there are most -if not all of our gov't politicians totally IGNORANT to that fact that I just stated! My point being is that "EDUCATION" is undeniably crucial in all areas of this complex world we live! It has become an extremely unnecessary hinderance when the governtment insists upon sticking their noses [coupled by their ignorant minds] into areas that they have not even the slightest general knowledge about! This type behavior nearly ALWAYS results in unfair, unjust, unecessary decisions which ultimately end in negative result due to ignorance & lack of knowledge!    [ send green star]  [ accepted]

The Cotton, Corn, DEA, Big Pharma, Alcahol and Wood Products Lobbiests are the main economic forces driving the opposition...they've got lots of money to through up in opposition...But we've got good economic sense and a lot of articulate supporters to press our case...

I live in Oregon where we already have Medical Marijuana and since I have MS, I have a card...this only approaches the medicinal applications of Marijuana...it just serves to show what a marvelous plant it is...the Genetics are fascinating

It's disgusting that the DEA even exists...it's a creation of a ridiculous Law that was passed under pressure from the Legal Distilleries to protect their market on leisure drugs..."If anyone can grow it...where do we get our cut?"..."Reefer Madness"...all prompted by Liquor Lobby...

I lived for a year in Kathmandu in '72-'73...everything was legal and available...the city and villages were like Hobbit Land...the mountains and people were fantastic...then Nixon created the DEA and here we stand about to change that reality...the crisis for food and energy sources will overwhelm the paranoid resistance of those 27%ers who still buy the lie.

They are a police state entity which will have it's day of accountability...the Truth always emerges the victor regardless of the suppression...

I note that fact as a tribute to Martin Luther King...
