The issue is the absence of women... and the other issue is to say "its not relevant".
Im gonna close this topic now because it seems controversial.

wow I like those facts Ariel. Had no idea some of them were that old.
Think Ariel's reporting about rock-bands.
Women's issues are really important , agree , & I hadn't noticed any issue here with rockbands though.
Wow.. well, Ariel? ' Gender, race and sexual orientation are not relevant criteria.' I really thought you may have been more sensitive than that.
"Just for the record" they are relevant TO ME. Women's issues are one of the causes that bought me to Care2, along with many others. I guess I would be pretty much a hypocrite to say it's "not relevant" in one of the two groups I own on Care2

I knew that starting this thread would be a challenge. Finding an event has sometimes been difficult. For the record, gender, race and sexual orientation are not relevant criteria. I post the first thing that I find interesting and think is worthwhile to share. It is true that I am not a pop/top 40 fan, most posts will likely be about rock bands.
Anyone can post, I will be appreciate not having to search every day, and if anyone knows of websites that lists, say, songs by release date, please share.
Found one, Judith!
lol Nyack. maybe we can post here too ,,, I'm just away to search some female facts LOL.
I wish the information was more balanced between males and females- out of 15 posts, 2 were about females. Equality wont happen that way
