Giant Sequoia Trees are magnificent in size and many of them
have been here for thousands of years. They are only found
in a protected area in California and are now vulnerable to
commercial logging. Please sign this petition opposing the
plan to log these amazing and beautiful trees!

BREAKING NEWS: ADMINISTRATION OVERTURNS ROADLESS RULE

Today, the Administration revealed their final plans to manage
popular Roadless Areas on our National Forests. The announcement
puts the country's last remaining untouched forests at grave
risk to new development and disregards the wishes of millions of
Americans who have repeatedly said they want these special
places preserved.

"Make no mistake about it, this new policy means that nearly
one-third of our precious national forest land may now be opened
to new and destructive activities, like logging and oil and gas
drilling," said senior policy analyst, Mike Anderson.

We need your help to ensure the White House knows this policy is
simply unacceptable.

After President Bush signed the open road bill to allow our pristine forest to be invaded I felt a lump in my throat.  I see so little concern for the future of this planet and our children.  This couple with this desire to kill social security and endanger the lives of our disabled and seniors, war for the sake of war, arrogance simple arrogance. I cry at the lost life. 

I was taught to not do what I am going to do but sometimes we have to just say enough is enough, and I really don't have a better way to diffuse my anger. 

So I have dedicated this Dennis Leary song to President Bush and all those who think we should have spotted owl soup and baby seal skin covers for our car lights:
