This is so horrible. My own beautiful, beloved horse was stolen from me over 30 years ago and probably ended his life in a slaughterhouse for dog food. These stories really hurt...
I have a good idea....how about getting the cow out of the "hamburger"...and any pig or other animal that might be in there. Veggie burgers with black beans and other wonderful non-animal ingredients provide protein, vitamins, and minerals...and they taste really good....and no lingering bad karma from having eaten a sentient living thing. This is not for people who because of health problems have to eat animal protein occasionally.
