These two sweethearts need so much love to heal...one of them is too afraid even to move, and the other one was hit by a car. They will be put down on Friday 21/11 and need urgent sponsorship to be saved from the gas chamber. Please I beg this of you, donate whatever you can...even a dollar! I know it is a bad time, the economy is bad over there as it is over here. But please if you can spare a dollar to save these creatures, please I beg you to help them!

I have already given what I can. If we all gave a dollar or less each these wonderful souls could be given another chance. Please help them, if you can't donate please spread the word as much as you can, this is an alert and they have only few hours left before they are gassed to death.

Thanks!

you can donate via Paypal from this link

UPDATE 11/21/08
We have been RESCUED!

Progress Report 11/21/08:
The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society would like to thank those of you who made sponsor/donations to help these two sweeties to safety!
The lab mix that has a broken leg and pelvis is now at a vet clinic and will have surgery to repair her leg.  She is a sweet and humble girl who has never once complained about her predicament.
The terrier mix is in a wonderful foster home and he is getting the utmost care in socialization skills, confidence building and tender loving care.  He will be vetted but needs to feel safe and loved first.
Needless to say, these two have a long road to recovery.  NCHS would still appreciate any donations toward their vetting and care.  We promise to keep you updated on these two special babies (who by the way, still need names!).
Thank you all.......for ALL YOU DO!

Lab Mix With Broken Leg
The lab mix that has a broken leg, broken pelvis, multiple lacerations and bruised spirit is now at a vet clinic and will have surgery to repair her leg.  She is resting comfortably and being spoiled by the staff!
Scared Terrier Mix
The terrier mix is slowly showing signs of trusting people. He is now walking side by side on a leash with his foster when she takes him outside.  We saw a hint of a smile today and.......he actually picked up a toy, took it into his crate and PLAYED WITH IT!  He is slowly making progress (still not trusting but...) and we are very hopeful to see even more progress very soon!
Needless to say, these two have a long road to recovery.  NCHS would still appreciate any donations toward their vetting and care.  We promise to keep you updated on these two special babies (who by the way, still need names!).
Thank you all.......for ALL YOU DO!

like to give a hand.  Please.  Thanks!

I'm a'clickin' the links to start discussions on this, and here it is.  My friend Sandy in Springfield is having some trouble with the city over her pit bull.  There are accusations--no charges, but accusations--and of course, the dog has been picked up and is in lockdown for 10 days before being put down.  If anyone can do a little anything, or knows someone who might, please let me know, OK?  Sandy's a nice woman who lives alone but for her dogs.

Please take a look at this Share:

Update--

My friend has been contacted by a SW MO dog rescue group who thinks they can take care of keeping Barty alive, doing required rehab, and getting him adopted. I'm going to update the share, but since I posted here, I wanted to give the update right quick.
