So he answered and said, "you shall love the LORD your GOD with allyour heart, strength, all your soul,and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself." I think this especially important as we come upon Christmas. While we tend to worry about whether or not somebody will like our gift, remember that its important we give it in Jesus name. Remember if someone gives us something we are not crazy about, that they gave it to us with love, and we need to love them back. And most of all, lets remember those that have no money for christmas, and get nothing at all. May they recive our prayers, and we love them in Christ name. [ send green star]

I was just meditating earlier about that scripture, also pslam 15- correlates with that scripture somewhat, loving God will all your heart, soul, mind, loving your neighbor as you love yourself was right up there with that commandment. This year I have told people the only gift I want from them is the gift of themselves. Just to sit have a cup of tea, go out to lunch, just be together. Donna M.	June 25, 2009 1:31 PM I have been thinking about how important it is for all of us to know the New Testament really well, and then later the Old Testament. So I believe it would be useful if we did homework through out the summer, and next winter also. I will from time to time give you suggestions on how to do this! [ send green star] [ accepted]
Donna M.	June 25, 2009 1:39 PM 1st suggestion: Buy index cards and a index container such as a recipe box or shoe box. Write one bible verse on each index card. Perhaps one bible verse a week, and than memorize the verse you choose for that week. Index cards are handy to help you memorize and easy to organize.
