The following is a post I made on another group about the possiblity that GWB would be able to use the patriot act to annoit himself king.

Folks, it is not just the Patriot Act and the possibility of the Shrub naming himself "Ceasar" that is the greatest concern. The greatest concern is our lack of viable choices on either side of the aisle to replace him.

Take a long look at the last election. What the hell happened. Going into to Iowa, Howard Dean and Dick Gephart were the front runners. Both were known friends of the working class with agenda's that would be helpful to America. And up jumped John Kerry, another "Skull and Bones" alumi with a wealthy northeastern background. A little reminder here: while Dubya rides that downhome texan horse, he is really nothing more than a sharp nosed northern blue blood. Don't ever forget that!!! So, our choice was really the pot or the kettle.

Another point you might want to consider that still lingers today is the so called lack of an agenda that the democrats are accused. Dennis Kucinich had and still has an agenda laid out in black and white. He even lays out exactly how he would impliment and pay for each step. And yet he was over looked, ignored, and protrayed as unelectable. Ask yourself why? He had a proven record of standing up for the little guy no matter the consequences.

So the Party of the First Part {Republican} is all for the Corporate Citizen. The party of the Second Part {Democrats} are some where in the dark. It is not a very pretty picture and I am not sure that we can retouch this portrait.
