Living in the Moment November 15, 2004 9:56 AM
Indecisiveness is like a gerbil on an exercise wheel; no matter how much energy is used he doesn’t go anywhere. This is like you talking about ideas and doing nothing more! Do you see what a waste of time this is? Are you aware of how beneficial creating your dreams is? If you’re a holistic being with many aspirations for healing space but do absolutely nothing abut talk then your not only having harming yourself but the world. You are ignoring the opportunities to fulfill, create and connect.
Well maybe you create a healing connection and your feelings are fulfilled but whose benefiting? Self-healing should not be about self but about growing self to share healing energy with others. Isn’t his better than just thinking of healing for self-growth and nobody or nothing else benefits? Can you imagine the difference this perspective can make in the world?
Is it worth giving up and letting go of selfish greedy wants for worldly evolution? Your power is greater than you might imagine. Just try living with the thoughts: “Tomorrow is unknown, today is the moment I have to live.” If I die today-what’s most important? Live in this way for awhile and your life will become richer and each action more purposeful and meaningful. Maybe you will act more with love and compassion. Realizing the truth in these thoughts one will start to appreciate every moment and not take people or their lives for granted but live fully present in each moment inhaling deeply this breath.
