Hello All! My name is Rose age 49 from PA. I was honored by Runningfox Moss to have been invited to join this group. I have always been an animal lover owner and yes, volunteer for many rescue groups.Some include, horse rescue, dog and cat rescue and others. I am also a member of the antivivisection society. At the moment, I have 1 white german shepherd, 15 cats, 7 are in the house and the rest are ferrell. They are all well taken care of. And thriving. I also have a pond filled with beautiful Japanese koi and goldfish. Oh yes and now 12 bullfrog polywogs. I also support wildlife of all kinds. To me all animals are part of my family. I protect them as and love them unconditionally. I believe that every creature no matter what it is, is needed to keep the earth going. Once an animal and it's habitat is destroyed it upsets the eco system and the world is not the same. We need them all. From marine life to the insect world to our mammals and everything I may not have mentioned. It is important that we respect and protect them all, or this will mean the end of mankind. We need to have a voice for those who cannot speak. We need to have a heart for those innocent creatures who give back in so many ways, without ever being aware that they are doing just that. So , I offer my hand in friendship to all at this and other sites that protect and speak out for animals and who believe that the earth can only survive with their presence. Hi I'm definitely an animal fanatic. I love them all but have a major weakness for cats (domestic & wild) and when I hear about abuses.
I love your group. I hate animal abuse. So I really like the threads you have here.
I have fostered many kittens & mom cats and volunteered with shelters. I like keeping up on thing locally as well. I've seen what abuse does to a cat or a dog. Those kind of things make my blood boil. Sorry about going a little over board.

For the invitation - i have already seen just aboout all my friends here. I have a persian cat but I adore all animals. I was born in Namibia but have been living in Italy for over 26 years. A lot of Africa is still in my heart - apart from all my family who still live there.
