Hello everybody!

Just watched the video!Thank you for posting it,Runningfox!It reminded me when I was l little I had a crow as one of my pets.It came and settled in our garden and befriended our dog.He would invite himself to the table when food was around and later would take a spoon  or anything that he liked and put it in the dogs bed!Crows are amazingly smart birds.

That was nice. Hope you get to be a 100% better. Your personality are ready shows me that, it will be there soon. You sound like a real fighter. Someone who does not quit. I respect that. I have had cancer 4 times and all the medications that go with it. I have to much to do on earth before I go. I hate the words can not and quit. My dog stayed right by my side and he is my angel. You just made me smile.

Good day everyone I have been absent due to a more than one year recovery period from a reaction to some prescribed medication that put me in a wheelchair..I am now more than 75% recovered and I am recovering more and more each moment.. We all need to share love with everything in our enviornment..

My best friend has a great dog with what I call a lot of natural smarts,high intelligence..He can do things without training that would be expected of a highly trained dog.. When I tell him to speak to me he will move his lips and make a noise trying to mimic speaking.. When I ask him to show me what he wants he will attempt to respond to me and when I tell him to show me he will show me..My friends intelligent dog will try to deceive me and hide a treat and ask for another one..This I suppose can be accomplished by just about any dog but there is one thing he will try his best to deceive me on..
 
When he is near me or riding in the car he will sometimes pass gas and when he does he will try his best to deceive me..He will start sniffing the air and then he will very quickly leave the area as if he was as innocent as an angel..Sometimes when I take him for a walk he will pass gas and even make a tiny noise,,When he makes noise when passing gas he will look around as if he is trying to find what has slipped up on us and then he will rapidly increase his pace to get out of the area..
Since I fell ill due to a reaction to a prescription medication my cat never is far from me..She will only leave my side for short moments while she eats or when she goes outside to eliminate waste..She sings me to sleep at night sleeping near my ear using my pillow as her bed.. She is an angel in fur and even checks up on me during the night often waking me with a kiss directly on my lips..She selected me to be her human dad about four years ago by turning up inside the engine compartment of my riding mower..She was almost dead when I found her and missing hair in many places on her body and her tail looked similar to a rat's..Now she is a truly beautiful cat and is a living symbol of unconditional love..
 
When I sometimes leave her for periods of time exceeding an hour or two she will jump up on my lap then turn her back sides to me and she will not purr as she normally does.. She is showing me she is unhappy with me because I left her alone but she does not hold a grudge long.. She has once or twice shown me she is capable of trying to deceive me..She will sometimes hide in a card board box,plastic shopping bag or her favorite brown paper bag and wait until I pass her then jump out at me sounding like a small mountain lion is attacking me..
 
My younger fur baby who is half Chihuahua thinks he is some large one hundred pound guard dog and when I give him a treat he won't eat it right away he will guard it and growl at anyone or anything that comes near it..He can jump almost as high as my cat and if I give my cat a special treat and I don't have it way high he will jump up and eat it..I once was petting him and calling him my baby and he looked at me and growled while wagging his tail as if saying to me I am not a baby I am a full grown dog.. He also will sometimes hide behind something and wait until I pass and come out with his hair up barking and growling but at the same time with his tail wagging and when he catches me he will lick my hand and my face and wag his tail..
 
My 110 pound chocolate lab acts as if he thinks he is a Smoky Mountain black bear..He is thirteen and spends a lot of time sleeping and he snores almost as loud as a hibernating Smoky Mountain black bear and he sounds exactly like they do only not as loud..He will also sometimes try to deceive me especially when I try to wake him..I can shake him and speak to him and he will keep his eyes tightly shut but when I say a magic word, which is hot dog, his eyes will like magic open and he will quickly get up and wag his tail and inspect my hands for the hot dog he is expecting me to give him..
 
I love my three indoor fur babies and my out door fur babies with long bushy tails who always make noise especially early in the morning wanting the pecans they know I have for them..One of them buried a pecan in the garden about seven years ago and it sprouted and now I have a twelve foot pecan tree which produces an abundance of pecans that I never harvest but leave for my long bushy tailed fur babies to harvest..
 
I have many song birds which nest in my yard during the months of March through December and it is a joy to hear them welcome the coming day just before sunup..Animals and all life are very important parts of my life and I care for them and treasure their companionship as I travel my lifes trail..
 
Have you hugged a tree lately? When was the last time,if ever,you said good morning to a plant,tree or animal? We share Mother Earth with many forms of life and they are all deserving of love and to being treated with honor and dignity..Our life and the life of all living things are joined and depend upon each other for existence..

Kuba...well that was certainly short and sweet.

Anyway, I'm here scouting the halls of Care2 to see what's going on in the groups.  Here in New Zealand it's pretty quiet...the sky is a dreary gray and it looks like rain is a-comin'.   I hope it's better for the weekend.

Hello everyone, Well it is that time of year,where most of us are experiencing wonderful weather and with wonderful weather most of us are getting out and about. So I create this thread for all who just wish to stop in say hello and let us know you are alive and kicking and just having a grand ole time in the great outdoors. Remember when you go out and about take your cameras, never know when there will be a kodak moment and we would just love to see them......
