The U.S. State Department reported in October that now has no church buildings and no Christian schools. Praise - Jesus has Friends in Bethany
At age 14, Pascuala saw the caciques [local Mexican mafia extremists] machete, shoot and burn to death four of her younger close relatives. She herself was abused, shot and left for dead when she refused to deny her Christian faith. Today Pascuala, who recently celebrated the birth of her first great-grandchild, is living in Bethany with her husband Manuel and their extended family.
This year's day of prayer generated more participation with Open Doors than any other IDOP since our first Day of Prayer in 1997. Many have scheduled events later this month, which means more prayers to come!
