Christian Students Massacred at Northern Nigerian College
Urgent prayer request - According to Open Doors sources, Boko Haram, an Islamist militant group, invaded the off-campus hostel of Federal Polytechnic College in northern Nigeria late Monday. Allegedly separating the Muslims from Christians, the assailants massacred up to 30 Christian students. The parents and families of the victims are in mourning and in “indescribable pain.” Please pray for them and the Christian community in Nigeria.
Christians Emboldened as Syria Spirals into Chaos
An estimated, “300,000 people are now refugees from Syria, that's triple the level of just three months ago," reports Jerry Dykstra from Open Doors. In the midst of the uncertainty and chaos, God is drawing people to Himself. Dykstra adds, "We hear reports that many Christians are sharing with their Muslim neighbors. So even in the midst of this terrible tragedy, we see the Lord working."
