Eric B.	ps Buck July 18, 2005 9:58 AM I just read your post and remembered my favorite dumpster find ever! A skateboard ramp that I had made 5 years earlier and given away 3 years earlier. The best I ever built, but my parents decided that "Rat Bones" didn't complement their landscaping and I had to put it to the curb. I knew that sucker was tough, but I flipped out when I saw it sitting behind a convenience store that day... [ send green star]
Eric B.	I'm confused July 18, 2005 9:54 AM is this for real dumpster diving discussion, or is it for emotional/and theoretical dumpster diving? Last week I found a bar stool that just needed a little repair, and an iron table for the patio! no rust whatsoever! Michelle B.	Congratulations.... January 29, 2005 6:27 PM Congrats. This is officially the weirdest group I've come across at Care2, and I run one on Dungeons and Dragons. How, uh...how do we do this? Just dump our stuff? Like my fear of dogs? Anyone want that? My bad nightmares. They're all yours. A better writer than myself could probably make some money on them. Maybe my chess team (I'm a teacher). But-no, I'll save them. The kids make me smile, even if they make me smack my palm into my forehead daily. Hm. Reminds me...my chess kids and I celebrated the new year by writing down all our woes from "2004 and Before" on scrap paper, and then "destroying 2004" by ripping them all up into little tiny pieces. Then we told each other about our new year's resolutions. It was all very theraputic. My husband and I just found a couch, an old computer monitor, a stereo speaker, and a rug, as well as a bag full of aluminum cans (which might as well be found money) at our apartment dumpster this morning, then I found this group tonight. BuckMcCool B.	January 27, 2005 8:39 PM This trash is funny. When I was a kid we would skate in Phoenix or Tucson till the early in the morn. We would run out of cash or everything was closed so we would hit the diamond of dumpsters: Dunkin Donuts! They always double bagged their goods. We would chow down, we didn't care we just needed fuel to keep going. When we were even younger we used to do stunts into the dumpster behind our TG&Y. We would just make a nice soft landing zone in it and bail of the wall next to it or the crazy ones went from the roof. I went from the roof... [ send green star]

January 08, 2005 11:57 AM I'm sorry, I did the same mistake in 1999 and bought a useless pair of unbelieveable high platform shoes myself But if you wait a few more years they will become valuable collectors items, I 'm pretty sure.You can make a fortune at once that 90's retro era is here somewhere around 2010. If not maybe they'll look good on Michael. Drum kit? no thanks! Another mistake we've both comitted. I played drums in a band when I were 14 and never again !!! Two words: I suck!!! Am I gonna take your speech classes? Oh my I feel shaky just by the THOUGHT of having to say something in front of more than 5 people. I never do that. But hey; a piece of your brain!!! I would LOVE to have a piece of your brain especially one that asks questions and stuff. Vicki V.	D.D. January 01, 2005 9:07 AM I learned to Dumpster Dive in San Diego, you can't be to picky when you live in a car at Ocean, Pacific & Mission Beach. That was in the late 70's and I still do it today here in South Carolina.D.D.,not live in a car. I have a 2 story house my X & friends built from the ground up. Taught a few friends how to dumpster dive to. They furnished a whole apartment with curbside trash pickup. We knew the days the trash trucks ran in what subdivisions. You'd be shocked @ what people throw out, at least I am. Had a friend who found a wood box with over $40.00 of coins in it, just tossed to the curb. I can't go to the dump, I always bring something home with me, including poor little puppies. Now most of that was in Charleston, but the Beaches around here are supply houses for poor folks. It'd be nice to find a bag full of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in it. I'll let you all know if I do. [ send green star]
