Pauline you are such a kind person. That's so nice of you. Hey Ruth, Pauline has a brilliant pool too. Poor Ingrid, so what's up girl? Have you been to the doctor or just feeling flat or what?
we care Ingrid.......Hope you are feeling better VERY soon, we miss you. OK.
Have a great week everybody, hope to see you back on the group soon Ingrid. I went to my girl friends baby shower yesterday, I told my husband I would'nt be very long! lol it lasted 10 hours. we drank about ten bottles of champagne between us all. We did have great fun, we had a guessing game about the weight the baby will be when she arrives in the next couple of weeks, colour of eyes, length ect, ect. Plus the name of the baby. I took a load of pics but I still cannot get into my albums on care2. sorry.
Hello everyone, no I didn't run out yet of usage for my Internet so far still good there, but it does happen often, it goes so quick.
To be honest it's been rush rush when I am on the computer and just did not make it to all my groups. Sorry.
Good to see you Ingrid, Ruth, Rose.
Ingrid, hope your feeling better soon sweetie. Hugs
My Pauline a 10 hour baby shower! That must be a new record or something! You must have had a blast.
Rose, I know just how it goes with not making it to all of our groups. Summer keeps me busy to. Grandkids running under foot and extra chores out in the garden for me usually calls it a good day. By evening all I usually want to do is nap! Good grief1
Hello Ruth, it's been awhile, sounds like all is well with you.
Lyn, how's Spring time treating you. I've heard through several other C2 friends some part of Australia have already been hot. Funny weather these days all over. Are you unhappy with your new PM? If your like me your glad when the elections are over.
Yesterday I went to the movies and had dinner out and did a bit of shopping for the house. I always hurry with that last part to. I don't know about any of you but I really detest food shopping. It's such a hassle finding it on the shelves, loading the cart, loading the vehicle, lugging it all in and putting it away!
Hi Everyone, I love this topic because people get to chat & it doesn't matter if its good, bad or silly, just nice to talk to everyone. Well Pam this Prime minister to me could be a worry. He kept on saying he would get rid of Carbon tax. But if it helps to reduce carbon I don't mind, he also said he would cut Miners tax, now that is looking after the big boys. Also he doesn't seem to care about live export & that's dear to my heart how the animals suffer etc. Also stop the 'Boat people' But time will tell. But I have an awful feeling about it. Oh first working day for him & a boat arrived already.
Pauline that was a piss pot party....sounds like you all had a great time. Good for you.I hope MUM to be didn't drink the baby will get the burps.
Ruth I'm so glad you had a good break, you work so hard you need it. Soon you will be away again but with part of your family......that is FANTASTIC.
Hi Rose even if you can come & say hello to your Mad Hatter family once a week is good, we miss you. Sometimes people think 'Oh they won't miss me' BUT we do.
Poor Ingrid I do hope you heal quickly. Hugs girl.
JoAnne where ever are are we love you too. JoAnne big mother cat disappeared & that would be so up setting. I don't know yet if it has come back. I do hope so, awful feeling when a baby is not around.
Hi Vicky you & I share visiting each others groups & it works well. Thanks for that.
If I missed anyone.......just kick my butt OK. Hugs everyone & remember you are CARED about.
Just a quick reply to you Lyn so you don't feel left all alone in the chat.
Wouldn't it be nice to find the politician who thinks exactly like we do? I care about the live exports from Australia to. I signed a few petitions on that here at C2. The carbon tax sounds like it has the potential to create a burden for many folks, does it? I imagine some not well off are in a even bigger hardship because of it. Oh that's not good to cut the miner's tax. What will they do? Boat people? hmmm, we have illegal aliens and many of them children who have crossed illegally alone. I am a couple of thousand miles from our southern boarder but their is a school here in my state for those kids. They send them all over the country. A few they find legal relatives but many are alone and live in foster care or if to old just live in a orphanage type building. Sad what children have to live. I really don't know what to think of all the people who are illegals. Many are escaping political persecution or in some cases war. Glad I don't have to decide that one.
It is so sad that people have to flea where they live because dying would be better than staying where they are. Carbon tax, maybe you right right, deep down I thik its a cover to be able to cut the mining tax. There was a lot of pressure from the BIG boys. But the 3 years are young so see what happens. Pami I hope you are enjoying Mad Hatter ? I am glad you joined, thanks.
Hello dear friends....
yes Pauline...I've seen your pool on some photos it's simply awesome
Lynnie...I hope our election brings no change...actually we can be quite satisfied here in Germany ... but all what the people can do is moaning.....
Ingrid...hope you feel better soon
Pami, yes it's all well here
hugs dear Vicky...Rose and JoAnne
I'm at home for lunch but have to go now..see you later
Hello all here at Mad Hatter. I am okay. Still have the coughs and sniffles a little but not that bad. Thanks for caring. Hope all have a lovely cool Tuesday. Really hot here today and tomorrow. Blessings to all.
Glad you are feeling a bit better. When its hot like that having having some sort of cold / flu is just terrible. But please you are slowly feeling better. Get some Vitamin C into you if you can take that. OK. Hugs.
nHello everyone, I hope this finds you all having a great start to your day. It's another hot and muggy day for us but to be our last one probably for the year, but in Michigan you never know.
Ingrid, glad your doing better. I have a summer cold to and the sneezing and coughing in this heat is miserable and as you know it's rag weed season to and that has my allergies going big time. I think I better go back to bed! LOL
Lyn, I am glad I will never have to judge who stays or returns to their own country they fled. What a horrible job for all those someone's out there. You have Big Boys in Australia to? My they get around. We have a club of them here in America who rule the western grazing lands and that is precisely why the wild mustangs are being prescuted to extinction. They make me so angry because of their lies and crelty to horses. Yes, Lyn I am glad you sent me a invite so I could re-join the group, thanks again it's good to be able to be part of Trevor's group again.
Ruth, I remember some of Pauline's beautiful pool photo's to. It looks so inviting doesn't it?
Watch out Pauline!
Take care everyone, hugs.
You're welcome anytime to join me in the pool, here in the Caribbean its 31° today, I'm just going for a dip with my grandson Lucas. hugs
Hope everyone in your town are safe as well as you, we also have a storm passing over at the moment, so keep your fingers crossed. I hope you havent had to much damage done to your home Pami ???
WOW. Pami that desk is 'BRILLIANT' out of this world. I will show my husband tomorrow, love it. Back to safty girls, be very careful, storms turn quickly. Wishing you both be very safe. Hugs Lyn.
Hello all here at Mad Hatters. Love the desk Pam. I wish you all a safe Thursday. Hugs, Ingrid
what a gorgeous desk Pami ......
good to hear you and Pauline are safe.
We had cold and rainy weather thus we have the heating on again..
hugs to all Mad Hatters
Hi It really looked worse this morning when the light came up. I have a little story about this huge tree that fell. It completely missed all 4 of my new blueberry bushes I planted this summer! I guess I planted them in exactly the right place after all. Not even a twig hit them! Some of the branches even flew over the whole length of the house and landed in the drive way. Then again it could have been the winds that blew them that far. The desk is awesome! I am glad you liked it to. I've watched it about 4 times now. My favorite part is the inlay work and the easel. I posted the link in my friend Annie's group and she researched it a bit more and said the desk was 275 years old and made by a father in son! Amazing work! Hope your day was good. I am tired. I got busy after I went outdoors this morning and then after a few hours remembered I had a appointment and then needed to rush around for that. A quick dinner and back to the chainsaw and stacking wood.
Glad everyone is OK, safe or feeling better. Ruth we have the heater back on too. I am going to bed early for a change, I have been having too many late nights & they have been giving me a hard time in the last few days. Love to all of you & see you somethime tomorrow. OK. HUGS.
Is anyone superstitious?
No I'm not superstitious just more careful on Friday the 13th ! lol
Thank you Lynn. I care too. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I am. Not much up here just the usual things. Hugs. Ingrid
I'm off partying tonight, see you all tomorrow !
enjoy Pauline ...but don't drink too much
Not too many of these girl.......ha ha as if. Enjoy but be safe.
Hi Ruthie hugs sweetie.
Thanks Ingrid just nice to see you here. You don't have to be doing much we just like it when you drop in. OK. Hugs.
Would I drink and drive ??? got home at 10.30am this morning and my darling husband (who I thought would go crazy at me for not getting home) made me breakfast. I'm a very lucky lady !!!
Hello ladies, not much going on with me today. It rained most of the day. The sun tried to make a break for it a couple of times though! Pauline nice photo, everyone looks happy and smiley for sure. Glad you had a nice time and breakfast later, lucky girl indeed. Last night we had a huge bonfire to get rid of all the smaller debris from the downed tree. It was a perfect evening and the neighbor came over and helped to. Have a good week everyone.
This pic was taken just as I was leaving the party after cleaning up after everyone had gone home!
Pauline no doubt about you girl. I hope you have a spare liver. You are crazy & your sweet husband knows what you are like. LOL.
Hey Pami we had rain today, non stop from 10.30 am, its 8.30pm now & still raining out side. Where we live the council won't let you have a bonfire. They bring back old memories. Hugs everyone.
Morning, glad you had some good memories from my mention of bonfires. Must be very dry where you are all the time to have the banned.Sorry I am having a stop n go morning. I needed one more cup of coffee and the dog and cat were going round and round.
Hey Pauline! Another nice photo. Nice you helped clean up after for the hosts. I know it was appreciated.
Nice photos Pauline, you all look so happy...love it.
Hi Lynnie und Pami we have rain today and it's stormy.
The weather changes like in April, my lunch break is over now and I try to be back in the evening. Hugs everyone
Good morning everyone, its sunny with blue sky's today, very hot. I hope you all have a good week and don't work to hard ! lol I'm arranging my Halloween party, I've booked the same band I had last year "Mobile Home Blue's" now I've got to look for a new costume on E bay. see you later.
Hey this page is nice & full already. Its fun like we are all in a very large room chatting to each other, but you can't see everyone. LOL. So when is Halloween? We will have to do a mini thread for that & post some crazy things. What do you think about that girls? I ngrid wanted to guess Halloween movies last year & that's how....Guess what Movie came about. Cool. Looking forward to it. Hugs everyone.
Hey Lynnie , I'm just at home from work, Only a few days until our Denmark trip. A Hallowen mini thread is a good idea.....
Hallowen isn't a big thing here in Germany..but in November begins again "the fifth season", "CARNIVAL .... it lasts until February...........it's a foolish time but not for mehugs everyone
Well the official date for Halloween is the 31st October but because everyone works that day I'm having my party on the 1st November as its a holiday in Guadeloupe and that means after the party the people have got Saturday and Sunday to recuperate ! lol. Ruth nobody ever celebrated Halloween here but when I arrived 18 years ago I started it off and now my Halloween party is quite famous in Guadeloupe. I think I'll start charging people to come in ! lol
Ruth enjoy your Denmark trip.
Your right Lyn chat thread is like a big room.
Pauline, how sweet you started Halloween there!
It's fun dressing up and also seeing everyone's costumes.
I have not been to a adult one in years.
It seems I am always sick, busy or watching the grand kids.
Soon they will be old enough to go with me though!
Yes it all sounds great & Ruthie will be back to do the halloween Party by the time we get it going. maybe we could ask some old members to come & party with us when the time comes. How's that sound? I'm starting the 2nd half of our company tax & I better finish it, print it off & get Peter to give it to the accountant. So if I am quiet you know why. OK. Hugs to you all.
Hello everyone here at Mad Hatters. Hope everyone is well. I am. I love Halloween and would a mini thread of it. Hope everyone has a lovey Wednesday. Hugs to you Lynn and everyone.
I'll try to start the Halloween thread off but I am still having problems with care2 albums, anyway I'll try.
Hi everyone, just a quick hello.
I probably won't be around much for a few days.
My very good friend passed away today unexpectedly.
Her husband was helping her to bed from her wheel chair and
she just collapsed and died.
Take care,. Love and Hugs
So, So, Sorry to hear about your friend Pami, must be a terrible shock for her family and you. My condolences to all her family. R I P .
hey where is everyone ???
I'm here.....I finished of printing the last part of the tax book work this morning. Thank goodness that is finished. Doing a whole year in a couple of days sucks I can tell you.
Hey poor Pami, what a terrible shock for her friends family & Pami. I will post a 'sorry for your loss' on her page.
Ruth might not be going away to Denmark, her daughter is ill & will have to haave a operation as far as I know.
Sometimes we don't know how lucky we are. Hugs.....feel better you are not alone.
Sunday, it was a beautiful day, did the washing fed the wild birds [Magpies] I gave them some mince they are feeding their babies & I help out. I hold my hand up in the air & make the noise they do & 2 seconds flat they fly to where I am. They sit on the roof of the big wooden swing. I throw some hamberger mince to them & they catch it. The last years yongest bird is still around, so it comes to get some meat when the two parent birds fly off to feed the new young. They made a nest in a big Gum tree. Its what they call a Ghost Gum. So this year they have nested again. Its so cool.
In our front garden I have to old feeders & I put out rolled oats for the birds. I have been getting so many different types of birds. Some beautiful parrots too. I NEVER spray in my garden & the lady next door doesn't either. People ask how we get so many birds around. LOL we both say ' Don't spray poison.
Sounds great to me Lyn, I also have many birds nesting in my garden and I really do try not to disturb them when they have babies in the nest. I do put food out for them but I am careful because I live right next to the sugar cane fields and it can attract many other strange creatures. Had a fantastic day today my daughter and partener and my grandson came over for lunch my hubby cooked an Indian curry and WOW it was hot and I made apple pie and custard for desert. We drank a lot of beer, wine and ended the day with Champagne in the pool. Pure luxury.
That is a family day and fantastic at that, because those days are always remembered by all ages. Good for you ....so who or what washed up? LOL.
I did my normal Monday two hours gardening at a customers place. Then went to my mother- out laws place...did you like that. She is a PITA. I am naughty but its true. Then went & took Doris's bins out. She is a customer, 92 & brilliant lady. Then came home made a sandwich, then took the dog for a good walk. She is very happy now. I was stuffed after all that & sitting chatting to you. Hugs.
Hello everyone, thanks for your condolences for my loved ones. I daresay I have laughed over happy memories as many tears I have shed. It's grand we have memories for certain. Happier times are a blessing for me.
Our first day of Autumn was yesterday and I could not have asked for a nicer day. The sky was full of sunshine and I spent some time outdoors cleaning up a flower bed and watering my hanging pots of flowers and my marigolds. Our ground is really dry already.
Pauline, I don't know what you would do without a pool. I love the water to and pools are such a treat. I can imagine living where it's so nice to use most of the year you do a lot of entertaining around it and in it.
So sorry to read about Ruth's daughter. Get well soon wishes for her being sent.
Lyn, I do not use poison's either but prefer to take a natural approach. It seems we are all bird lovers. I love to hear all the sounds they make and some of them are just so gorgeous to.
Well ladies have a great week and take care.

So sorry Pam about your loss and to Ruth's daughter get well soon. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I did and I am well. Have a lovely Monday. Hugs to everyone.
Ingrid you are a sweet lady & we love it when you come to chat.
Pami no matter how you feel its nice to get into the garden. This morning, Peter, my husband went off to work, Kya [our German Shepherd] & I were doing our normal in the front yard. Rolled oats for the birds. The Magpies arrived to get some meat for their babies. I was about to go inside when I noticed Kya sniffing something, then darting back but very quiet & gentle. I thought after having some warm days it might be a snake. No. It was one of the baby Magpies had fallen out of the nest. A long way to fall. Poor little thing couldn't stand up on its own.
So I still had some mince, made the noise they make when the want food & it opened its mouth. So I had to feed the bird tiny bit of meat. Great it had 3 good bits of meat. Then I rang the lady next door for the Wild life phone number. Then I rang them & she said could I drop the bird off to the lady that cares for birds? Yes, but I was still in my dressing gown. So had a supper fast shower, got a shoe box put straw in it. I brushed Kya so I could get some warm soft fur from her coat for the box. Then got some paper toweling to pick up the bird. WHAT a mornig.
But girls I had an appointment at the hospital, had to be there by 9.30a.m. Everything at once. So bird in the back seat, found the house, gave the box to the man & said I have to run. I'll call your wife later.
Drove to the hospital.....this is like a TV show......anyway. I had to have a breast check to see if the were no lumps or any Cancer. The mammogram I had in June showed up being clear, the specialist checked me & said he was pleased, nothing there. So I still have to be checked every 3 months for 2 years I think. Then went home, had a sandwich, then did a customers garden for an hour. I was stuffed. Wonder why? My life is NEVER DULL. To be continued because I will go & give the bird people some money to help them out. Meat doesn't come free. Hugs girls.....did you go to sleep? LOL.
I am really pissed off with my so called son. He gives me the sh*ts. I'm going to bed. Hugs & see you all tomorrow. OK.

My goodness Lyn you have so much energy and fit so much into your days, fantastic. I went to my post box this morning and there is a big black dog dead next to my fence, I think someone must have poisoned it, I've telephoned our association to see what to do, nobody there. With this heat it must get moved quickly.
Thank you Lynn and you are sweet as well. Hope you get in a better mood today. Feel bad for the bird and glad the appointment went well. Very sorry about the dog by your fence Pauline. Hope something is done.
The Mayor is going to send some guys over to move it, hope they come soon because the smell has put me off going in the pool ! lol
I must admit I did laugh when I saw the smell bit. But that poor dog. Some people have no idea on how to look after an animal or how to help one if its in pain etc. That bad mood I had was yesterday.....Everyday is a new day & I try hard to never carry yesterday with me. So all is good today. Hey talk about energy. Yesterday I did 2 gardens. One was 1 hour the other was 2 & 1/2 hrs. I was stuffed. But today was good only two hours. Then came home had lunch & them walked the dog. Later Kya & I did some of or garden. I am crazy that is for sure. I don't know how I do it either sometimes.
You are so fit Lyn. Anyway came back from my group last night and the dog was still there, only thing it had doubled in size, YUK ! But I'm happy to say a big white van arrived an hour ago and took it away. I could'nt do that job.
Hello Lyn, Ingrid, Pauline and all who stop by.
What a day you had with the baby bird. Wow every 3 months is very through. I love working outdoors every chance I get when the weather is perfect. If it's to cold or to hot forget it. The garden has my permission to perish! Family we would like to hug them one minutes and sometimes disown them.
Ingrid, how's the weather been down your way? Did you ever get over that nasty cold?
Pauline, poor dog, poor you. At least it's been taken away now.
I am going to check into a few threads and then it's bedtime for me. Take care.
I do love this thread. It would have been Trevor's birthday today. He would be telling me off for saying that. But ....... it has been a hard day today, more then last year. Glad I only do TODAY.
I wish everyone to have a wonderful weekend. I did 2 hours gardening this morning, but for some reason I was sore. Adam took the dog for a walk, which was very nice. I needed the break to be on my own for 10/15 minutes. When they got back, Kya & I did some gardening for an hour or more out the front. Peter was getting Pizza's for Adam & himself. I had runy pouched eggs to go on top of steamed rice, with fried onion, zuccini & button mushrooms, then added a tiny bit of water, when the juice kicked in a drop of cornflour to thicken. I loved it. LOL. Hugs & thanks for being here.
You're making me hungry Lyn, sounds delicious. Happy Birthday Trevor wherever you are we still think of you.
Thanks most people would think...yuck ....but its good for you & tastes nice.
Yes 27th of September was Trevor's birthday. He is very happy, he's in our front garden, he knew where his ashes were going to be & said he was wrapped. But missed very much indeed.
Yes Lyn very true. Have a great weekend.
Hello Pauline, Lynn and Pam. I am well and hope all of you are too. Glad the dog was taken away. Hope you have a great weekend too Pauline and all of you. Hugs from Ingrid
Well my week-end is nearly over. I have been sitting going through so many e-mails. I lost count. Glad to see Rose back we missed her. Hugs to you all.
Hello friends I'm back, after a varied and relaxing week in Denmark. Every day, sunshine, beach walks, tours of an old frigate, a castle, an aquarium with sharks and stingrays ...and everything what swims in the ocean .... we visited a rainforest -park under huge domes .... an Africa.....Asia and an Americas dome ... we also bathed in the pool every day... aaaah it was great ....
today is my first day at work ...... phew ... I'm at home for lunch and have to go in half an hour again....see you all tomorrow ...
Lyn your rice dish is similar to the one my Japanese friend Estuko would make for brunch for a group of friends. She used to take cooked rice and add some veggies (not always the same ones) some eggs that looked like a omelet and sliced and diced. It had mushrooms and onions in it. She would use tinned meat such as corned beef or even Spam. It was always so good. I loved it. I was thinking of Trevor and sent a green star I figured it could blast past him. Hi Ingrid, Hi Pauline. Ruth is sounds like your Denmark trip was a huge success. Glad you enjoyed it.
Have a good week everyone.
Hello Pam, Lynn, Ruth and Pauline. Hope you ladies had a lovely weekend. I did. Hope all have a lovely Monday.
Hello little family, its just like having family though. Fantastic. Doesn't matter what we say or do here everyone is just happy that we see each other. Now if most of the world would be like that it would be better off. I don't know where that thought came from, just floating around in my computer, sew, ironing room. Mind you the ironing & sewing don't get a change lately. LOL. I don't know about anyone else but I have been having a bit of a hard time yesterday & today on care2. Not all the time but enough to make me nuts heeeeeeee. Hugs.
Ruth your holiday in Denmark sounds fantastic, its definitely going on my to do list ! lol
Hoping for some rain soon the garden is so dry the pool is to hot 32° like swimming in soup, we need a really heavy downpour. Have a good day everyone.
Hello all here at Mad Hatters. Hoping you get that really heavy downpour and have a good day to you too and to everyone here. Hugs.
Yes Pauline , I think that you would like it too....... I've Guadeloupe on my to do list ... lol
Since we are back from Denmark we have sunshine, but it's just too cold..... one can feel that it's fall already.. Tomorrow is a public holiday in Germany, so I have 4 days off .........yippeaaaah
Lynnie it's good to hear that you're OK and the specialist has found nothing and all is clear
bbs....hugs to everyone
Have a happy 4 days off Ruth, I think you would love Guadeloupe, I do. lol
Yes have a happy 4 days off and have fun in Guadeloupe. Lynn and Pauline have a lovely Wednesday. Hugs.
Thanks Ingrid,,,,,,tomorrow I'm going to play with my granddaughter Leni and on Saturday she will be here with us,,
hehee Pauline have you heard it? I pack my bags and take the next plane to Guadeloupe
I love it Ruth, have a great time with Leni. How is your daughter -in-law going? when does she have an operation? You & Pauline would have a brilliant time Guadeloupe. Care2 is giving me a hard time, typing, looking at posts, you name it so I will see you tomorrow. HUGS everyone..............my little family.
Sorry you are having problems with Care 2 Lynn. Hope it gets better. Hope all have a lovely Thursday
Hi Guys, Yes it has been so much better. I tried so hard last night but it was driving me nuttier than I already are. LOL. I had a day that I did very little because I did so much yesterday I was stuffed. Hugs to you all.
Oh and we start day light savings tonight.....or should I say 2am tomorrow morning I will be pushing up Zzzzzzzzzzzzz by that time.
Hello Lynn and all. Glad its better for you. Hope you ladies have a lovely weekend. Hugs to all.
Hope you all have a good weekend and relax.
Yes Lynnie .... we had lots of fun yesterday again with Leni ... she was again many hours with us. ...we love her soooooo much
My daughter in law will probably be operated in 2 weeks. At the moment she is doing quite well ....but I do not feel so good, I have the flu......
hugs to everyone
Oh no. You will have to stay away from your customers for a few days & get yourself feeling a little stronger. Must be catching I am going to call my doctor tomorrow morning & see when I can get an appointment. I keep getting dizzy every once in awhile. I thought it was when I bent over while gardening where I couldn't kneel down but sometimes its when I am sitting here at night too. I need a referral to go to Peter Mac in December anyway so I will do 3 things at once. Hugs everyone.
I can't stay away Lynnie....because of the dates I gave the patients.... I'm sitting here on the sofa, Mo makes a coffee and we'll eat a piece plum cake with whipped cream.
Take care of you....
Dizziness can have many causes .... but I think it comes from the area of the upper spine and the muscles ........ too much gardening , my dear
Feel better soon Ruth and Lyn. Yes slow down on the gardening.
Thank you my private little doctor. Yes you might be right girls & thank you for caring. Today I didn't garden at all. Tomorrow only two. Wednesday I have an appointment with my doctor. I have to ask him about my leg too. Hey Ruth it might be blood pressure but I will know on Wednesday & then I will post here. OK. Hugs to you all. I am going to do a few games here & them off to bed.
Well it seems you are off to a bad start this week Lyn and Ruth, hope you are both feeling better soon, thinking of you.
My friend Emma left Guadeloupe to go back to Wales uk on Saturday, so there was more tears at the airport. We did give her a good send off Friday night with all our friends.
Fantastic photo Pauline. Mumma bear has lost another cub. You poor girl Pauline. You get attached to them & then its sad. You might have said why in the beginning but are these different people staying where you are, studying 'Guadeloupe' then over a period of time they go back to where they came from??????
Hello all here at Mad Hatters. Great photo Pauline. Hope all is well with you all and hope all have a lovely Tuesday. Hugs from Ingrid
They all come over to be English/Spanish teaching assistants, and work in all the schools in Guadeloupe. Some stay a year some less and many others stay longer. It is true I do get attached to them but another 45 arrived 1st October as replacements so the fun starts again. lol
Well Pauline you better take a tiny rest....then go for it. What a life good for you girl & just think of all those people you have helped have a good time. LOL. Hugs.
Got a good report from my doctor as in nothing serious & he said the dizziness could come from my heart or my legs. Bottom of my left leg is thin & not much room between the skin & the bone so the circulation is not great. Hugs everyone.
Great news girl, go have a massage that should do the trick ! lol
Ruth, Lyn hope you 2 ladies are feeling top notch soon.
Hi Pauline, how interesting with the turn over in teaching assistants. I bet it is so much fun!
I've been a bit scarce the last week I lost another good friend of over 35 years. Just so many in a months time, my mind boggles thinking of them all gone. 3 friends and my cousin.
Wishing you all the best.
Yes Ruth and Lyn hope you ladies feel top notch soon. Hello Pam and Pauline. So sorry for your loss Pam. Thinking of you and all here at Mad Hatters. Wishing all the best. Hugs.
I've lost 2 of my best friends this year Pam to breast cancer and its heartbreaking. One of my friends had 4 children and the youngest is only 5 years old. My friend Vero was just 42 when she died. Live every day like its your last. Problem is I think I'm overdoing it ! lol
