NCSE now has a group on Facebook! By joining our group you'll be able to connect with other NCSE members and discuss the latest developments on evolution and creationism. Facebook is a social networking site that lets users post pictures, videos, and notes on their personal profiles and in groups dedicated to various topics and causes. If you aren't already a Facebook member, you'll have to join to see the group, but we hope this will provide a great place for our members to socialize and network.

Please help out the NCSE!

I just got a letter from the National Center for Science Education(NCSE), the organization that specializes in defending the teaching of evolution in the public schools. It reminded the reader of the Dover, Pennsylvania victory of the NCSE over the school board there that had been mandating the teaching the concept of Intelligent Design as an alternative to evolution. The letter went on to state that the Creationists are not taking this defeat lightly, but their leaders are seeking to galvanize their followers to stir up more trouble. Well, we and the NCSE need to be ready for what the Creationists will attempt next.

Thus I am appealing to those in this group who are Americans to help out. Please consider sending a donation, in the form of a check or money order, to the NCSE. This is their address:
