Good to be back! As long no one mistakens me for being some woman from Canada!
I'm Accused of Being Some Woman from Canada!

As the result of a bitter battle between group owner Dale Husband and his former friend Sally H, Dale became so distrustful and traumatized that he terminated his Care2 account completely, but not before giving ownership of EE to Mari Enchanted. The following day, as the result of appeals by his wife and some of his friends, Dale agreed to return to Care2 under a new account, and is now under the name "Honorable Skeptic" which he always called himself even in his previous Care2 life. Mari then appointed Dale host and gave him ownership of EE once more.
I also spent more than a decade working as an archaeologist around the US. As a trained anthropologist, I've been schooled in this subject matter and continue to enjoy reading up on the subject.
Thanks again, Dale, for inviting me to help out!

Appointed by Dale H to replace Thomas Panto, she is a Jewish lady who resides in the Chicago area and is dedicated to various liberal causes. She and Dale have been good friends for nearly three years.
Thanks again for the support, Dale. I think this thread is kool!
Simona T's Care2 account was recently terminated. Based on her past behavior, it is most likely that she was booted completely from Care2 by the admin for failing to follow the Care2 Code of Conduct.
Margaret E, aka Peggy, has stepped down as co-host to focus on other issues.
Josh K has sent this message to Dale H via MySpace:
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have been really busy these last few months. I went to Guatemala and Belize, then to Yosemite, and have been preparing to go off to grad school. I leave California in a few days.
I understand replacing me [as EE co-host with Roger W], as I have so much on my plate these days. Hopefully once I get into the swing of things I can keep up better (on a related note, just started reading The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins). I know you'll keep the group going strong.
I hope that everything is well with you. Feel free to email me at [e-mail address deleted] or find me [on MySpace].
A very close and trusted friend of Dale H, and another early and dedicated member of Evolution Education. Dale decided to make her the newest co-host of EE after seeing her return to Care2 after an absence of several months.
By April 2007, group owner Dale H had not heard anything from Josh K in several months. Meanwhile, Roger W had discovered Evolution Education and quickly established himself there as one of the most knowledgeable of people about science issues in general, providing some excellent topics. After some hesitation, Dale H reluctantly removed Josh K as co-host and replaced him with Roger, making EE a stronger group than ever.
Also known as "Peggy", she was appointed co-host to replace Cheryl K. She is a close friend of both Dale H and Thomas Panto. She is not religious, but has a deep interest in all faiths, and calls herself an athiest/buddhist/wiccan.
One of the earliest and most dedicated members of EE, Thomas was appointed by Dale to be co-host in late February 2007 as a reward for his loyalty, after he was the only one who responded to a call for a new host for EE that month. His statements of philosophy provide a powerful source of wisdom for the group, but only for those who really care to read and think about what he is saying, instead of making knee jerk reactions towards him for his not following "conventional wisdom".
Note: Thomas' appointment as co-host was made before the defection of Cheryl K, and may have been a factor in her decision to leave the group.
Also known as "Towelie T", she was appointed to be a third host as membership in EE continued to slowly climb after the Co-host Election. For nearly a year she made many valuable contributions to the group, including a thread titled "Evolution in the News", and she and group owner Dale were even close friends, or so he thought. But gradually, political and ethical differences between the two led Cheryl to not only quit EE at the beginning of March 2007, but to betray the group by deleting most of the posts she had made there just prior to her departure, much to Dale's shock. After Dale H realized that Cheryl was the one who had done the deletions, he blocked her from EE forever.
He was appointed by Dale H, after Dale was impressed by his zealous nature and brilliant wit. A ferocious debater, he never failed to point out obvious points that Creationists seem never to notice or care about. But he was removed, along with Senum Tug, after the co-host election of 2006, and like Sunem, he seems to have fallen into inactivity and is sorely missed here.
A native of Turkey, she was appointed by Dale H to replace Simona, and proved to be a far better fit for the role, being beloved by almost everyone. With little interest in confronting Creationists directly, she preferred to merely provide interesting news stories on evolution and let those stories speak for themselves. She was removed as host after the Co-Host Election of 2006 and has not been seen much since, but she should not be forgotten, especially since her native country's government is currently in the grip of Creationist zealots.
The second co-host appointed by Dale H, she actually volunteered for the position after Dale made a general call for new hosts (Josh K, who had served previously, also was reinstated at this time). Although Simona did make some good contributions to the group, her abrasive nature tended to antagonize other people in EE and in many other groups, causing Dale to regret her appointment after only a few weeks. Eventually, Dale confronted Simona about her attitude, causing her to quit the group altogether to avoid the indignity of being blocked from it by Dale.
The first co-host of Evolution Education appointed by Dale H. Like Dale, he is a dedicated debater for evolution and against Creationism, and to date is unflagging in his support of the goals and rules of EE. He sometimes uses humor as a weapon to make Creationism look silly. He was removed as host during a period of inactivity in EE and them reappointed when activity picked up once more and has remained co-host ever since. He was the only winner of the Co-Host Election of 2006.
Original founder and still owner of Evolution Education. Originally, the group was known as "The Future is Wild" and was dedicated to a particular television show that featured evolutionary concepts. After a few months, Dale H renamed the group and proceeded to make it into a center for discussions about evolution in general, as well as ways to discredit Creationism. He is still the primary driving force of the group.
