Your actions have impact. They will have great impact today.
I have heard all the arguments about why we as Christians should not vote. You do what you will. But I know this in my heart of hearts--this is my very personal opinion--we do not have ideal candidates from a Christian world view. Nonetheless, we do have a clear distinction. Yes, I know all the globalist underpinnings of both, and recognize them for what they are. Here's the thing: YHVH will choose the leader. He will work through each of us to do so. He knows our hearts. He knows what we deserve. He is merciful beyond measure. Yes, evil is evil. There is the type of evil that cannot be redeemed; and there is evil that can be redeemed. We have seen the heart of the former. We have not, the latter.
It has got to start somewhere. We as a nation, as a people, are on a downward spiral. As Christians, we are the light of the world, the salt of the earth. As Yeshua said in Matthew 5:13, "...but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." YHVH said in Ezekiel 22:30, "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." I know that there are going to be a lot of Christians writing me today justifying their action or inaction or chastising me for encouraging political action. Fine. I will stand before the LORD for my actions. So will you.
Great article Ivy!!!
Really good, Ivonne!!
I didn't know there were arguments why christians shouldn't vote. I can't go along with those that say that. That's like sitting on their hands and saying, I don't need to do anything, God will take care of it all, and make sure everybody else will do it for me. That to me is unresponsible. You like this country, and the freedoms and rights you have along with having the privilege of being a citizen of the US, then you get off you lazy duff, show God you are appreciative and will fight the good fight for all you've been given in order to show you do not take it for granted, and quit using excuses not to vote. That's inexcusable. It's our duty, to God and country, our children and grandchildren, and to our servicemen, who BTW, the evil one in office is suppressing votes. To sit back and make excuses not to vote is unhonorable to all concerned.
