Have any of you ever heard of a website called snowdays?  It is an AMAZING site where anyone and everyone can become artists in making snowflakes.  Now don't let that make your eyes roll.  Until you've tried it, you won't realize what you're missing!

Go to and click on the search area.  For name, type in Michael.  For location, type in TOPSAIL.  Then press enter or click search.  You will see flakes I've created over the last few years.  Some are junk, some are really awesome.

To make your own flakes, click on the center Create Your Own Flake.  After the paper folds, point your mouse where you want to start.  Hold the left button and draw.  When you release the mouse, you will see what you've done so far with your 'cutting'.  You can reset it, start over, save it for all to see!  It's a great way to spend a rainy or snowy day!  Give it a shot and share with us here.

Here are a few that I've made just for fun.  For some reason they aren't showing up in here.  So here's a link to the folder I made for them.

Well, I see Care2 is still screwed up.  Can't put any pictures in the post.

If you get to where you think you might like this and want some tips on how to make various style flakes, check in with my friend Mr. X at and click on Tips N Trix.  It's real easy to get lost in the flake site as you create one flake after another!
